I had been toying. I thought it would make me titty.
I espied a jigsaw one and tried on ready to HATE but its actually quite nice and good for whizzing to my overheated office..

i liked the dropped shoulder thing too

The verdict is in, the large cashmere one makes me look like "a woman who would be really cold on a night out" and the jigsaw one looks "okay I suppose"

Showed to son two he said that in both I look like a Mexican, which apparently is a bad thing

Well, I have succumbed and bought the Jigsaw one in navy . And I like it, wore over polo neck and jeans out to cinema last night, and over crisp white shirt to supermarket this morning . Love that I don't feel constructed in it . It is a better quality than last year's (I have the grey one , it is thinner and a good bit shorter/snugger in fit).
Really like this year's one. Even dd thinks "ok", and she usually says "tragic" ...

My verdict is in (bought the JLcashmere, Jigsaw one and Mint Velvet with tassels).

Jigsaw one was nice but a bit short.
Mint Velvet was lovely, liked the tassels and zip detail, but fabric mix let it down.
John Lewis: gorgeous cashmere, nice length and covers my back.

JL wins hands down. Put it straight on and been wearing all afternoon. Lovely.

Ah! So relieved to get the result. So you're keeping ..... The jigsaw one?

BrendaandEddie · 17/10/2015 22:01

Teenage boys speak the truth, listen when they tell you who you are.
