I love the idea of these poncho things but the reality not so much.

There fine if the weather holds. Thing is, its been unseasonally good just now and just ideal weather but it wont last. Once the rain comes back it will sadly take residence at the back of my wardrobe. I could purchase an umbrella i suppose but then it will probably get far too cold!

I love this thread. I am a teacher, and we had open evening this evening. There were lots of ponchos, a fact I had never noticed before. I had to restrain myself from discussing the ponchoff with colleagues.
I bought a kimono jumper from Jigsaw when it was 10% off, but still too expensive, and wish I had joined the poncho wearers instead.
