Love the way everyone has several types of tanner hiding in a cupboard! I think I have 3: Will be 4 tomorrow Wink

DosDuchas · 29/05/2015 20:13

I've just applied and started counting from the end of application. Let's see if that works.

DosDuchas · 29/05/2015 20:14

Agree wth V and the quantity. It would bankrupt me.

ilovetosleep · 29/05/2015 20:24

Well its definitely doing something here as I have an orange ankle.

DosDuchas · 29/05/2015 20:37

sexchay

FatAli · 29/05/2015 20:38

I may attempt application no2 before bed tonight, although I am on the Prosecco so may forget..

I have noticed 2 identical brown patches on both heels - so that is the extent of my tanning so far.

DosDuchas · 29/05/2015 20:46

the only streak or blemish ON MY VERY BEING is on my left big toe

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 29/05/2015 21:04

right, 6 showers in I have a glow, a natural light brown glow not a deep tan glow, I too did the 3 for 2 and am in bottle 2 so yes a very expensive way to get a tan. what I like about it is that it is so easy, I am so bad at applying fake tan without getting orangey streaks everywhere so the rub into wet skin works for me. what I don't like... it's too subtle, takes too long to develop a colour that I am happy with which makes it very expensive I would love a version that was darker and quicker to develop but sadly I feel I have a reaction to some ingredient in all these gradual tanners as whichever one I use after a couple of days i start to itch Sad gutting as I love how this one works and love the natural tan it's starting to develop as it is not at all orange.

DosDuchas · 29/05/2015 21:17

lol at long rant!
I agree it could be darker. I wonder if this LIKE THE BLOODY CLARINS SHIT is one for the winter

I might go and buy some classic St T lotion www.sephora.com/productimages/sku/s1256866-main-hero-300.jpg

Pollywallywinkles · 29/05/2015 21:38

I'm 3 applications in and like stepaway have a light brown glow. I think I will get more than 6 applications from a tube, but I doubt anymore than 8. Which makes it on the pricy side.

The ease of application is great and I have no dark patches or streaks.

I will revert back to CB as I have some to use. I'm still not sure if I would repurchase the ST shower but that is mainly due to the price.

homebythesea · 29/05/2015 22:09

Stepaway- the everyday gradual tanner comes in 2 shades, so maybe they will do the same with the shower one eventually? The darker one, which I bought once by mistake, really is quite alarming!

noddyholder · 29/05/2015 23:02

You can use a normal instant dry tan and be brown in an hour and it is a proper colour I dont see the point of getting wet and standing about for a 'glow' not for the price I fake tanned tonight took less than 5 mins and really good colour no streaks smells like watermelon I think this stuff will fizzle out but all my friends have got it so will watch them like a hawk

orangebeige · 29/05/2015 23:07

I visions of an very tanned Noddy Holder now Smile.

orangebeige · 29/05/2015 23:08

I 'keep having visions' that should say.

noddyholder · 29/05/2015 23:11

I am! as I still have it on you can wash off after an hour but I'll do it in the morning as it's very dry and doesn't mark sheets

Howaboutthisone · 30/05/2015 07:15

Which one are you using noddy? And does the watermelon smell give way to biscuits or not?

noddyholder · 30/05/2015 08:03

I use cocoa brown one hour tan Good tip I buy those fluffy bed socks from £ shop and use instead of a mitt flawless finish in streaks and way cheaper. If you shower after an hour no smell but I usually leave on and there is a slight smell although my Dp says not as bad as others! I like the flat brown colour rather then golden it's £6

DosDuchas · 30/05/2015 09:00

I don't know why you all obsess about the smell.

DosDuchas · 30/05/2015 09:01

Well I used again last night. Is still too subtle. Used twenty trillion drops of shit clarins one on face. Nada

Have offered St T classic

frankietwospots · 30/05/2015 10:26

I'm glad I didn't do 3 for 2 on the St Tropez in shower stuff. My top half looks fine but I've had to revert to the gradual tanner for my legs.

I've ordered the Clarins drops for body as I'm so impressed by the face one, but not sure which body lotion to use with it. Don't particularly want to buy Clarins body lotion too!

noddyholder · 30/05/2015 10:39

Yes I am not bothered by the smell either but it does bother some people Even once tanned and showered the smell is always there I get teh odd whiff

reallybadidea · 30/05/2015 10:40

Hmm, well it definitely works because I appear to have developed cafe au lait birth marks on the underside of my arms after one application. Aka streaks. Damn.

noddyholder · 30/05/2015 10:44

I am not bothered by smell either they all smell apart from decleor gradual glow

noddyholder · 30/05/2015 10:45

DosDuchas · 30/05/2015 11:28
