Ooo I've had no dryness - however I have been moisturising as normal after my shower

Also I have only used in mornings - didn't think there was a rule

FatAli · 28/05/2015 18:49

I tried it for the first time last night.

Has not made a jot of difference to my colour and it definitely has eau de fake tan.

DosDuchas · 28/05/2015 18:51

i do it ANYTIME it pleases me

FatAli · 28/05/2015 18:51

...I did squats in the shower while I waited.

I did squats too FatAli be really careful if you don't have a bath mat!

I do have some slightly darker marks on and around my feet and apparently one on the back of my ear!?! Overall still very happy with my purchase.

Vivacia · 28/05/2015 20:24

Don't squats risk creating a streaky patch where your thighs touch your calves?

Pollywallywinkles · 28/05/2015 20:52

It only resulted in a subtle change in colour after the first application, more colour after the second application. It does have a slight smell, but I can't smell fake tan.

It has not left my skin dry.

It's easier to use than holiday skin and other products of that ilk and no stickiness.

I suspect it may be a food product for fair skin as it's subtle in the first instance and doesn't shout fake tan.

Is it worth the money? I'm not sure when I compare to CB.

StrawberrytallCake · 28/05/2015 21:43

Vivacia I definitely can't squat that low!

frankietwospots · 28/05/2015 22:08

So, three days in and my top half has tanned brilliantly, prompting comments from people at work today of 'Oh have you been away?' etc.. But it is less successful on my legs which have only got a hint of colour. I might have to keep going on my legs or switch to my usual fake tan so that I at least match! It's very easy to use though and I haven't noticed any noticeable whiff. My skin isn't dry either.

homebythesea · 28/05/2015 22:20

Right, in the interests of thorough research I'm going to put it on dry legs then shower off. I will stick to legs in case they need covering up for a few days.....

Bear with....

Madeyemoodysmum · 28/05/2015 22:39

Hurrah. home by the sea! Please report???

homebythesea · 28/05/2015 23:03

Well that was a far more pleasant bathroom experience!

I imagine the colour will develop overnight - watch this space....

Vivacia · 29/05/2015 02:59

watches this space. Nervously

Lndnmummy · 29/05/2015 07:11

Lurking and watching, home by the sea, how did you get on?

RattusRattus · 29/05/2015 07:32

This sounds verr verr interesting. Guess who's off to Boots today!!

homebythesea · 29/05/2015 07:37

Ladies, I have good news!

A much more noticeable result this morning- not your Michelle Keegan Cuprinol stain, more your Jennifer Aniston California glow- but with all the non sticky non smelly benefits as previously reported. And most importantly no wet shivering!

I think this is the way I'm going to use it from here on in. I wonder if St Trop PR are reading this- it might be better to market it as "shower off" rather than in shower?

I should add many disclaimers etc etc etc Grin

AmethystMoon · 29/05/2015 07:44

I wonder if being wet when you apply it stops streaking etc. as any drier patches won't actually be dry IYSWIM? Hence no exfoliation required?
Anyway done it for the first time this morning. Top tip... Don't get it in your eye, it stings, lots. Awaiting a nice subtle glow.... I hope. I actually want a very pale colour a an naturally blue (one shade removed from smurf). Normal fake tan looks horrendous on me. I only ever use the gradual tan moisturisers, this year Garnier is v good.

homebythesea · 29/05/2015 07:53

Amethyst- no streaking in my dry legs experiment! I usually use St Tropez everyday gradual tanning moisturiser before being sucked in by the hype of this new product and have never had streaks with that either. I do think that ST T is the best for avoiding the usual pitfalls of self tan!

AmethystMoon · 29/05/2015 08:09

Ah interesting Homebythesea, that blows that theory then Grin
I am currently on the train and can smell a slight whiff of fake tan Hmm it's admittedly not as strong as other products but still there for sure. Not a deal breaker though of the colour is good for me.
I fear cost may however be!

Vivacia · 29/05/2015 08:14

I'm in a dither now... About to try for first time.

DosDuchas · 29/05/2015 08:27

I'm loving watching v do this. Home /did you leave on for three mins?
