Not nice - so no. I think it's like the fuss they made about that pink coat a few winters ago. I saw a few people in them ( London) suited some but mostly on looked badly made

They do this every year relentlessly plug some item claiming it shows they've got "it".

They need to stick to what they do best - good basics and middle of the road stuff. Get that right and then concentrate on reclaiming the fashion crown.

M&S (needs klaxon here) please can you make some navy/black plain panelled skirts in a good fabric, possibly with a bit of crepe in the weave, cut well, flippy at the bottom and knee length, with a lining.

I'd buy one of those please. I'd pay up to £50 for one too. I have seen something similar in Jaeger and Austin Reed for much much money but you, M&S used to be able to make simple things like that that didn't scream "cheap cut", "M&S colours" "the one everyone else has". I'd also like some simple, unstructure jackets too - a cross between a jacket and a cardigan to wear with skirts like that - you know in navy, black, deep berry colours.

Some cotton summer well cut skirts would be great too - with similar type jackets in paler colours.

I do not want your pretend cheap business range; I do not want your awful Per Una prints and lengths, I do not want your sports range or your Classics Range.

I didn't see the skirt. It was over powered by the hideousness of the shoes. I've never seen such and ugly shoe.

What the hell is wrong with M&S? They seem to consistently fail to get the basics right, produce awful colours, cover everything with tacky embroidery and churn out horrors like this.

It's the leather dungarees all over again.

I can imagine if you're slim it will hang off you and hide your slimness and if your not it will cling to bulges.
