Mind you, I suppose it's good it means I haven't been kicked out for vogue style fail in a meeting.

AmberNectarine · 20/01/2015 10:57

I have made my first S/S15 purchase. This incredibly practical bag. It was love at first sight!

OneLittleLady · 20/01/2015 11:29

love love love that bag Amber

Waiting for the courier to get here to pick up a parcel being sent to DP. also need to go to the post office this week to do some posting, will be posting your small parcel this week lib will let you know when it's actually in the post for you

Drywhiteplease · 20/01/2015 15:15

Lovely bag Amber you're very good at statement evening bags. I need to learn from you. I always buy practical colours that go with everything/boring/ no wow factor..... I need to be more adventurous.
Parcel from All Saints has been delivered.... Advantage if having DH at home is he can take them in Smile disadvantage is that he is discovering how much I buy Sad. Received a text fr him. Frustrating as not home for another 2 hrs.
Lots of snow forecast for tonight.... Hoping for a snow day.

shopafrolic · 20/01/2015 17:50

WooooooooHOOOOOO - we're definitely going on the Club trip! DH confirmed he has won us our place. 4 nights paid for in April but we're going to extend. :)

OneLittleLady · 20/01/2015 17:52

oooh, exciting Shop! what are you going to wear?!?!

shopafrolic · 20/01/2015 18:05

No idea One - I'll need a couple more bikinis / a swimsuit. More cover ups, and smart / casual day dresses plus some evening wear. Exciting. I already warned DH I would need to get clothes if he won it - so he's prepped :) I haven't been anywhere so luxurious for a very long time!

Right - any of you lovelies want to bid before I EBay? Need to rustle up funds :)

How about this one in black dry?

MarshaBrady · 20/01/2015 19:43

Great Shop! Are you all going? ie ds, I imagine you are.

Linus, Dry that's nice.

Well did the mash up in the end. Leggings, running shorts, cashmere jumper, Lanvin boots colleague said nice boots so I guess I got away with it.

MarshaBrady · 20/01/2015 19:46

Oh and did go for a run obvs.

Just looked at your eBay board, amazing this colours swap thing. Lots of stuff.

Karbea exciting about your HOC

WhattoWearNow · 20/01/2015 20:02

Hi Dry - is this too slouchy?
Is this too fitted?
Off piste I know but I like this.
Going for every type of neckline you can get here.
How about a Christmas jumper for next year ho ho ho
Could be a winner
So cuddly.
Will stop now - I am a bit frazzled as have just spent the last 48 hours clearing out my wardrobe - I have given away all my cardigans as I just don't wear them now sorry Queen. I used to live in them before kids but now live in sweatshirts & breton tops as it is only one top to think about not two if you follow my logic.
Six bin liners later (I hate throwing things out) I am hoping to get to this.
It's got me thinking - roughly how many items do you have in your wardrobe? Off to do a quick tally...

shopafrolic · 20/01/2015 20:08

Would have to count now but it al fits in one wardrobe.
Marsha we're going to pay for extra nights and take DS. I assume there'll be babysitters at a place like that. Or a decent kids club. Others are taking their kids. So excited. The last time he won club was when we first met.

WhattoWearNow · 20/01/2015 20:09

Reckon c300 in total (includes everything except underwear) - clearly more bin liners needed chez What

WhattoWearNow · 20/01/2015 20:11

Your trip away sounds great Shop. What a lovely thing to look forward to. Am off to watch Housewives of Cheshire - they live in a parallel universe.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 20/01/2015 20:17

Loads of crap that doesnt fit properly i bought a fair bit in my moments of "that will do and its cheap" hardly ever tried stuff on in shops as used to make me feel miserable when things didnt fit.
Currently trying to work out what shops to visit when we go to London as not sure how much time we will have with the show and a nice meal out.
Any recommendations for things like basic t-shirts, trousers, shirts and keeping an eye out for a dress to wear to a wedding as well.

libertychick · 20/01/2015 20:48

Muddling I like the end of Regent street near Oxford circus Tube - close together you have Cos, Banana Republic, Other Stories, Liberty, H&M, Hobbs. Just a little further down Reiss, J Crew and Anthropologie. Should cover all bases between them.

One I'm looking forward to my package Smile

Shop pm - I may as well have more of your stuff Wink

I am tired tonight. Marsha well done on the run. Did you really go to a meeting in running leggings? Shock

OneLittleLady · 20/01/2015 20:49

i have a lot and i mean a lot of clothes. I've done several clearouts but still have so much, that's why i'm buying nothing but holiday wear for a good while. I definitely need at least 1 more swimsuit, I have one and a bikini but could do with another and then some coverups, maybe some shorts but that said, i find it hard to get shorts to fit tbh

MarshaBrady · 20/01/2015 21:01

Lib I had shorts over the top. Black on black. No clients, just colleagues at the agency. No one blinked (I think)

Jel Shop jel

OneLittleLady · 20/01/2015 21:05

I have a question for you ladies.

Out fo the rest fo the voguettes, whose style would you most like to try out for a day? I'd love to try marsha's laid back simple lines, it's so different to my own style. everyone else?

libertychick · 20/01/2015 21:06

Good stuff Marsha

Yes great news Shop on your holiday. DH is in the process of booking our holidays for the year (he is very organised). Looks like Thailand for Nov/Dec - yipee.
