Oh Marsha your message just cheered me up no end (sorry!) Grin. Am having a hellish time re school applications, waiting lists, aargh.

Lib just wanted to say you seem so happy with the results of the colour and style stuff and am really glad for you. Not saying at all that you needed it but it seems to have triggered some sort of a lift and confidence boost that dh has picked up on too. Enjoy you lunch date.

shopafrolic · 19/01/2015 12:29

Lib So glad the new bits are working out for you - have a lovely lunch
Marsha that's my idea of meeting hell - I would add leaking boobs to that list - a colleague - not me - one of the reasons I didn't go back to work was leak fear JOKE
Mara fingers crossed for you
Did anyone watch The Real Housewives of Cheshire? I know some of you love trash TV proof that money can't buy you style

santamarianovella · 19/01/2015 12:36

marsha I thought your post was gonna make me fee better, but it didnt Blush ,I majestically slipped and fell while dropping dd at nursery, I usually take the back enternce, but because its so slippery and wet this morning and im wearing marant purdey boots I thought I'd take the closest enternce to the parking area to avoid slipping, oh the irony! But I'm pretty amazed by my reflex, I didn't want my leather leggings to get ruined ,I was in a plank postion by the time I hit the ground Grin,

liberty hope you have a great lunch date, and I agree with mara , you sound more positive and confident,

santamarianovella · 19/01/2015 12:41

Oh shop I want to watch it! I watched ladies of London while I was in bed post OP, terrible but very addictive, it was my guilty pleasure, I briefly met one of them a few years ago, so was really eager to watch it,

shopafrolic · 19/01/2015 13:27

Ouch Santa - sounds painful - hope you're ok. x

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/01/2015 13:35

Oh dear santa - but at least you fell majestically Grin hope you're ok!

maradesbois · 19/01/2015 13:53

Grin at Santa's sharp reflexes. Don't think you need to worry too much at losing your fitness after that little number!

MarshaBrady · 19/01/2015 14:30

That is impressive Santa!

Thanks everyone, the only good thing about it all is that I made you laugh.

I keep getting hot shame flashbacks.

MarshaBrady · 19/01/2015 14:49

Shop yes I would add great big wet circles in the boob area to that list Grin

Mara arh for you too.

Blair that sounds lovely.

Lib did you have a lovely lunch?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/01/2015 14:56

Hot shame flashbacks is such a good description for that feeling! It's horrible.

libertychick · 19/01/2015 15:07

Had a lovely lunch date thanks.

Are you feeling better now marsha? In my first few months back at work I discovered baby sick/dribble on the lapel of my jacket on at least two occasions AFTER the meeting - the only consolation was that I was too tired to really give a shit Smile

Thanks all for the lovely comments. I am feeling much happier ATM, lots of things are making a difference and the colours things just feels like the icing on the cake. I do feel more confident in how I look which is a bonus on top of just feeling better about life in general.

Good save santa!

libertychick · 19/01/2015 15:10

Fedup the blusher has arrived. haven't had a chance to play with it yet but it looks like a great colour Thanks Thanks

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 19/01/2015 15:10

Yay lib that's such a lovely thing to read, so happy for you.

santa I'm about to pm you :)

MarshaBrady · 19/01/2015 16:55

Lib that's really great to read Smile really nice. I keep checking in the mirror, think I've developed a nervous habit from it. Hope it passes. I'd take baby sick x 1000 than teeth related issue Grin

Drywhiteplease · 19/01/2015 17:07

Evening all!

Chilly here this morning. I wore :
Vest
Uniqlo red merino round neck, long sleeved jumper
Boden wool camel a line skirt
Opaques
Socks
Knee boots, black
*Shop's" cashmere Burberry scarf. addicted, adore it, working hard
Nice and cosy

Shop love crap! will have a peek at HWO Cheshire, although I'm well into the Good Wife (17/90 episodes in) bit frustrating (wish she'd ditch DH and bonk Will....may just fast forward!) have an acquintance love that term who has had a multi million house built, v grand designs, all v modern and incredible, but I just can't help thinking how dated it will look in 6/7yrs time.
Marsha you poor thing. Sounds funny horrendous. Love espresso, but if I OD I can feel everything speeding up, become quite unintelligible Grin more than usual
Santa poor you! but great abs work Grin
liberty lunch date sounded lovely.

this] and [[http://www.asos.com//ASOS/ASOS-Shirt-with-Scallop-Collar/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4371648 this arrived today. Both are keepers. linus can't wait to try your red version of the stripe sweater. The shirt is good not great but I love the scallop edge on the collar, not too see through, not bulky under sweaters....the main problem I have with fitted shirts is filling the bust Sad .

Drywhiteplease · 19/01/2015 19:01

Dry!Shock

Your outfit today sounds very cosy. I wore red Hobbs shift dress over a tm Lewin striped shirt with pink, red, purple and blue stripes, LkB kitten heel boots, opaques and my M&S jacket. This jacket is perfect for me. It's also already bobbling.Sad I fear I will have to begin the great jacket search again this autumn. You have all been warned! I have lovely dark purple nails which remind me of QueenC who has reignited my passion for polish.

Thanks to you all. This is going to be a good week.

Fedupnagging · 19/01/2015 19:45

Oh dear Marsha i feel your pain whilst trying really hard not to laugh. Have some Wine and a good night sleep and maybe you won't feel so bad about in the morning.

Santa, great control by the sounds of it!

Lib really pleased you had a good day and that everything is looking so positive for you.

Dry and Novice love the sound of both your outfits. I am a fan of the kitten heel.

Grin at your ds Dry.

I kept warm in jeans, polo neck and desert boots today. Will look smarter for work tomorrow I promise.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 19/01/2015 19:52

Evening everyone just got back from a spur of the moment "lets have dinner out tonight" I refrained from having pudding (being good plus i want some more weight off before London) so youngest had his to take home.

I seem to be spending a lot of my lunch at work on pin and thinking I really love the classic French style. I just need to look at how to get it all in proportion for my height.

Drywhiteplease · 19/01/2015 20:04

muddling are you muddling on Pin? Do you have a French style board? Will take a peek.

Am feeling ridiculously guilty for calling the Good Wife "pathetic" earlier. The problem with intense watching of box sets is you start living it....I'm sure I was a bit lawyerish/prosecution-before-the-key witness-at -work today Hmm

novice it's going to be good week here. Am "doing an Amber " out 4 times Shock leather pencil skirt CPW will be goid by Sunday!

OP posts:
muddlingalongquitenicely · 19/01/2015 20:14

I'm andreaclaire74 on pin and yep i have a french style board though i think most of my pins are very similar to each other lol

I am trying to decide whether to go for a plain pair of ballet pumps or those Chanel style ones from Kurt Geiger i linked the other day.

shopafrolic · 19/01/2015 20:29

I love you lot. Love all the supportiveness. Fab.
Need to watch the Good Wife. Real Housewives is on again tonight.
I am sat with a glass of wine by the fire, feeling v lonely. It gets boring sitting alone when you've only had a 4 year old for company all day Grin
Anyway, Silent Witness or Broadchurch tonight - decisions, decisions.
Lib I got lots of compliments wearing the fuschia today - Thanks again

QueenCardigan · 19/01/2015 20:35

Evening all. I kept warm by wearing my heatech vest under my usual outfit of blouse and cardi.

The gap jeans arrived today (v speedy service considering I only ordered on Saturday) and I love them.

I also popped into one of my favourite boutiques and bought 2 tops.
this one and another one that I can't find online. I rarely wear black anymore but I just adored the lace on the shoulders and the cuffs and it looks great

marsha your story made me laugh. lib I also used to get to work and realise that I had milk/snot/dribble on my shoulder.

QueenCardigan · 19/01/2015 20:37

Sorry shop I forgot that dh is away. When's he back? I'll keep you company as dh on call all week so will see little of him.
