Cross post!

Bag looks great and fab colour

Brillenbar · 19/07/2014 12:47

'Twas I who recommended it. Really pleased you like it. I've had mine about 5 months and I can still smell the lovely leather and marvel at its quality every time I pick it up. One of those items that could have such longevity it'll be passed onto one of my dds

BillStickersIsInnocent · 19/07/2014 13:24

Thank you Thanks

I'm still in the stroking phase at the moment and not wanting to put it on the floor!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/07/2014 13:26

Lovely bag.

Nothing to report workwear-wise here. I have succumbed to maxi dresses and sandals in the heat, I'm afraid.

BillStickersIsInnocent · 19/07/2014 14:05

Ooh Remus I thought your place was super smart? Is it more relaxed given the heat?

I'm travelling around all next week, hoping to get away with sandals and casual trousers

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/07/2014 14:07

We have a lot of Muslim staff, so long skirts/dresses are acceptable, providing they are worn with a jacket! I couldn't face tights, and don't like bare legs at work, hence the maxis to cover them up!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/07/2014 14:09

These trousers are cool but look reasonably smart with a cotton blazer and heels.

margaritasbythesea · 19/07/2014 14:27

Thank you for the Jaeger reminder. I have just bought the blue bag for my friend's 50th birthday. Gulp. I hope she likes it!

Bearleigh · 19/07/2014 19:00

Those are lovely bags!

I am currently sitting wearing-in my lovely Italian-from-M&S flat pointy pistachio green slings backs. When I first tried them on my feet were really swollen and MrBearleigh persuaded me to return them, and get a credit of my £37.00. After a trip to the air conditioned food hall I realised how much my feet had shrunk, so popped back. Of course tis time they fitted. By this time they were on their way to the shop floor, and by the time I bought them, the price had fallen to £32.99. I make that a 81% reduction on the original £175.00. They are really gorgeous - such good quality, and so pretty. They will need wearing in a bit, but soon the leather will be soft as butter. Thank you so much for the link Belinda!

The assistant in M&S said a good way to stretch shoes is to wear one or two pairs of sports socks in them. Seems a good tip.

Brillenbar · 19/07/2014 19:57

Has anyone seen any spoilers of the banana republic mouret collection which launches 5/6 august? Only picture I've found is of a black dress, but I guess they must be doing more than just that!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 19/07/2014 20:02

Bearleigh, how nice that the shoes have worked out! They do look beautiful. I have a wise friend who always breaks her shoes in at home w sports socks.

margaritas - oh your lucky lucky friend.

Remus - I really like your trousers - they look great.

Brillen - no, I haven't seen anything on the collaboration, but I will report back if I do. This one could be a good one, as his dresses are beautifully shaped. I didn't like the L'Wren Scott collaboration at all, I have to say.

Stokey · 19/07/2014 20:25

Brillen They had a small feature on the Roland Mouret BR collaboration in the Stylist this week. The dresses look lovely and were £85, very exciting.

kikidee · 20/07/2014 13:35

There was a little bit about the BR Mouret collaboration in the Saturday Times yesterday. There are 30 pieces-dresses, trousers, shirts and jackets in navy, black, white and shocking pink. Prices are good but the dresses they showed looked quite eveningy. Sleeveless, one sleeved, lace etc. Nice but not particularly workwear.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 20/07/2014 14:43

Not workwear but for any Whistles fans, this M&S t-shirt is v Whistles-esque, right down to the seam at the back. It is much nicer than the abominable styling here implies.

BillStickersIsInnocent · 21/07/2014 07:18

That's nice Remus. I wear those whistles shirts to work a lot so will check this one out.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 21/07/2014 09:32

Remus - those M&S tshirts do look good, don't they?! I might have to try one.

kikidee · 21/07/2014 10:11

20% off at M&S today. On-line I think.

lurkingaround · 21/07/2014 10:41

Hi everyone. M&S tee does indeed look great. No workwear news to relate, I haven't been in a real shop since I don't know when. I have been online but all I've bought are sheepskin scuffs from Toast! Time is the issue for me, and a lot of us I suspect. Kids are still young.

Oh I forgot! I did buy that Cos silk pale blue top you tried on in one of your blog posts. The one with the frilly cap sleeves, can't find it atm. It's really lovely. I had been stalking the Whistles site, and Whistles on Asos too, but didn't buy.

And then I had a look on ebay. Gosh it EATS up time! I don't think I have neither time nor energy for it.

Loving all the links.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 21/07/2014 21:16

Lurking - that Cos pale blue top is oh so pretty, isn't it!.
.

Re Roland Mouret, can you see this Twitter link to a pic of some dresses, that Grazia just posted? instagram.com/p/quY5pgCg83/

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 21/07/2014 21:18

Real life shops are v hard w young DCs. Mine are young, too, and I save real life shopping with them for Only When Absolutely Necessary. The 3 of them get out of hand quite quickly, so it's short, sharp bursts of shopping with bribes offered for good behaviour.

lurkingaround · 22/07/2014 19:30

Yes Belinda, it's a really pretty top. I love pale blue. I have to say, you're making my shopping so easy!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 23/07/2014 20:35

Smile at Lurking.

Capsule post is taking an age, but in my travels I have seen this coral silk crepe blouse reduced to £56 www.atterleyroad.com/brynhilde-crepe-blouse-9.html

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/07/2014 20:58

I bought the M&S t-shirt - it's nice. Size down.

lurkingaround · 23/07/2014 21:08

Must try and have a look at it Remus.

That is lovely Belinda. I really must resist tho. V tempting.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/07/2014 21:09

Oh and Whistles had a few of their lovely tube skirts in the sale - deffo worth investigating.
