Dry point taken on drop off. I am usually pretty good at running away having him peeled off my leg! A new baby? How exciting. Lovely

QueenCadbury · 19/06/2014 21:52

I can't keep up with all the chat Grin
marsha shame you didn't feel comfortable in the jumpsuit as I love it and think it'll look really good on you.
dry you speak a lot of sense re leave and run. The little buggers just cry to make us feel guilty and then forget all about us Grin. I've been following michelle for a while. Keep meaning to get in touch as she's in bristol too.
amber shame not to meet you at mu. Next time.
novice Grin
santa sounds like a lovely day (apart from getting changed to please dm).
Hello to everyone else.

All this chat about h&m has made me want to go in. In this heat I find I'm wraring the same 2 or 3 tops and could do with another couple of sleeveless tops. Luckily I need to go to Lakeland tomorrow/Saturday to pick up flan cases so can nip in then.

Feeling slightly overwhelmed today. Little dd is being referred to eye hospital for a squint. Big dd has mentioned dying again.

Stokey · 19/06/2014 21:55

Well luckily he looks more likely to be a Luis than a Wayne Dry

Is it wrong to be slightly relieved that England look like they're going home? DH relaxes much more once England are out.

The Uruguay tight shirt thread was most amusing Linus, looking forward to Italy Grin

Stokey · 19/06/2014 22:00

Thanks QueenC

DD1 (aged 4) got referred for a squint in February. She is long-sighted and they have been trying to correct the vision first with glasses (for 4 months, 2 different strengths) and now have just started patching.

I think I find it more stressful than she does. She has been very good at wearing them and the other kids at nursery are a bit jealous of her glasses (Princess ones) and patches. She may still need an op but they say it is important to correct the vision first. Hope yours will be OK.

QueenCadbury · 19/06/2014 22:01

Thanks stokey.

I now want to go to the US and shop in madewell

QueenCadbury · 19/06/2014 22:02

Oops, posted too soon. Meant to say that I love Susie's top.

bettykt · 19/06/2014 22:16

I like that top too QueenC but it would linger at the bottom of the ironing pile as I'm too lazy to iron. Thanks for your daughters. You too Stokey was reading yesterday on here about grown up and teenage dc, it seems being a parent is always stressful and worrying no matter what their ages are. My dc are of primary school age.

libertychick · 20/06/2014 00:10

Oh dry new baby! How exciting.

Will catch up properly tomorrow.

Thought I would share a pic of my lovely TK Maxx bargain shoes...

Marsha yes it was me with the floral shift- very easy to wear and felt nice.
None of the sales very inspiring so haven't bought anything.
Need to have a read back have had 2 very busy days at work so looking forward to a day in the garden today.

QueenCadbury · 20/06/2014 07:44

libertychick · 20/06/2014 08:02

Have a great day dry :)

shopafrolic · 20/06/2014 08:13

Have a fab time Dry
Liberty love those shoes! I scrolled back but couldn't find your TK Maxx post again - what label are they?
Rubbish night's sleep last night. I was woken at 2am by breaking glass and someone running down our road at full speed. Someone had tried to break into a local business. Police arrived within 5 minutes, with dogs etc. Struggled to get back to sleep. I'll probably fall asleep at hypnotherapy today!

LinusDKD · 20/06/2014 08:44

Have a fabulous day today dry! I bet you look a million dollars!

Those shoes are gorgeous liberty!

Good luck with the hypnotherapy today shop!

I have been sleeping very badly lately. Even though I get about 7 hrs per night I wake up feeling tired and sluggish.

Annianni · 20/06/2014 08:57

Hope you have a fabulous day Dry [fizz]

Good luck Shop

maradesbois · 20/06/2014 09:11

Morning everyone,

I had a great day in London yesterday. Matisse expo alone was well worth travelling for. On the shopping front didn't get a chance to do much. Went to celine on mount st to look at trio but hadn't realised that they never discount bags. As you said blair no fp buys atm!

Also went to DVF to look at maxi dresses for my black tie event. Would like to get something in the summer sales that would work dressed down with flats too. Anyway I found 'the one' but won't link yet as haven't bought it. Am learning! Wink Going to try and buy from website as seems lots cheaper than shop. Not sure about taxes etc though, does anyone know?

liberty lovely shoes! I will have to find out about the London tk maxxes from you at the mu.

marsha maybe you need to have another go at the jumpsuit and if it still doesn't work for you send back.

shop think your ds must be same age as mine if starting preschool this sep. Went for induction session last week and he ran off and joined in no problem as they had a good train set.

turq oh no for your sunglasses. You may be better popping into an opticians to get them fixed if the store won't replace them. It should only take them a minute. Which ones do you have? I have these Alicia ones which have just got back with prescription lenses fitted. They matched the TF colour perfectly. Just noticed yesterday in the light that the tortoiseshell has tiny flecks of blue in, a tiny detail but love it.

dry have a lovely day.

queenc Thanks to you and your dds.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 20/06/2014 09:45

Dry have a great day! Did your sis have her baby?

Hope it goes well shop, sounds like you need some relaxation today.

liberty the shoes are lovely and look really expensive, love a bargain :)

Anyone else secretly relieved England are basically out?

OneLittleLady · 20/06/2014 10:10

Have a fabulous day Dry [fizz]

Fingers crossed it goes well Shop Thanks

Lovely shoes liberty

BrandyAlexander · 20/06/2014 10:37

Hello, we are taking the dcs out for the day. Am wearing Bejewelled j crew baseball top and j crew matchstick jeans with Skechers. Worried I will be hot as this weather is so unpredictable!

Dry have a terrific day, can't wait to hear all about it!

Shop, ds has a settling in session at school next week. I am nervous as he's so clingy but I am sure he will be fine as will mini ShopSmile

libertychick · 20/06/2014 11:10

Shop the shoes are a brand called London Rebel - I have other shoes by them in TK Maxx before and they seem to do nice flats. Not expensive - per the TK Maxx label the full price is £35. At £7 though I don't really care if they aren't great quality although they look good and have a decent sole so feel good to walk in. I bought some Dune brogues at the same time. I am really looking forward to hearing how your hypnotherapy goes.

DD starts nursery this Sept too - we have a meeting with them in July and then they apparently send two staff out to meet her at home first before starting which I wasn't expecting but seems a nice way to do it.

QueenC hope things are going better today.

Did a White Company order last night. Long grey hooded cardi, grey top and a white linen skirt. With the white skirt I want to try and recreate this look using my beloved Agnes B shirt.

libertychick · 20/06/2014 11:25

QueenC This dress made me think about your hunt for the perfect dress for your 40th! Smile

shopafrolic · 20/06/2014 13:23

Hi all - I'm back in the room Grin
It was good - weird, but good.
Just seen pics of Dry on FB - she looks AMAZING
All these littlies starting nursery / pre-school. Ours do home visits and settling in days too - it's good. I'm hoping he'll make the switch from where he is currently to the new setting quite easily (as long as they have a good train set!).

libertychick · 20/06/2014 13:38

Yes but has it worked Shop ignores the fact that it's obviously WAY too soon to know Grin

LinusDKD · 20/06/2014 13:45

I want to see a picture of dry too!

shop glad it went well today.

Just got a lovely haircut and popped into Jacadi to buy some things for the DC in the sales.

Didn't buy anything for myself (apart from some Estee Lauder nailvarnish, such good quality) as the sales are notoriously rubbish here.

Asked my haidresser about getting a Brazilian blowdry. He quoted me a price of a little under £300!!!

And it only lasts for 3 months!!

queenc how are your DD's today? ((Hugs))

santamarianovella · 20/06/2014 16:16

dry have a lovely time, wish I could see you

liberty those shoes are gorgeous and I just love that Agnes B shirt, proved to be a great buy,

linus that's a bit steep for something that only lasts 3 months, better buy GR heels instead Wink

I have to share this,so about three weeks ago I ran out of bioderma cleansing water and the pharmacy that stocks them were out of stock too,so I settled for la Roche posey cleansing cream ,now I used that a few years ago, nothing special,,but wow,I don't know if they changed the formula ,or what but it is the best makeup remover I've ever used, i even stopped using my trusty cetaphil cleanser, I was so impressed with it, I went and bought the hydraphase moisturiser, and I'm beyond happy with it too, my skin sting the first few times I put it on,but that's gone now,it leaves my skin very soft and dewy, I haven't used any tinted moisturiser or foundation these past few days,

And la Roche posey people if you are reading this and you experience a surge in sales, your welcome Wink ,and no I don't have money on my mind ,I do it for the love Grin
