I have a vague recollection about her going to visit her parents... but nothing since then.

We went to the open day at Ds2's school earlier this week.
He was a bit apprehensive but seemed to like it.
(he's never been to nursery, only ever been with me or dh)

He's there for a trial next week
I've made persuaded dh to have the day off :o

I'm wearing MaxMara skirt - wonder if a bit like a tablecloth, tangerine t and have blue GR suede pumps to wear. Now I love those! They are almost too nice to wear.

But best thing is running out and a fun tipsy night ahead.

I had a good time with my mum , started bad,she didnt like the marant shirt,and boyfriends i wore,iso i changed to C&P dress and she didnt like it either,thinks it makes me look like a school girl,its like we were going to meet the pope not shopping! ,i couldn't bother to change again didnt spend a lot of time shopping,we just visited etro and maxmara concession then had a look around the shoe department,and the ground floor,I was really glad to get out of there and head for lunch,It started to get busy,didnt get anything,nothing impressive really,
but lunch on the other hand was fab,delicious food,and we had a lovely chat,It made me realise how bad I miss her sometimes,I don't get to do these things with her that often,

,and I just love Walton street,so pretty,love all these small boutiques,makes me want to open a small shop there,but I don't know what I would sell

I had another try out of my NAP order, this morning and the dress,shirt,tee are all keepers,the shorts are good,but the are loose around the waist,in a good way,its more slouchy,but im concerned they will get baggy with wear, and the are sold out in the smaller size,but I really love them,don't know what to do

dry I would love to see pictures if well dressed people at RA but they never seem to show them. I guess it doesn't sell papers.

Going for a haircut tomorrow! Yay! Managed to get a last minute appointment but it has been bothering me these last few days, just an awkward lenght and tickly in my neck and shoulders.

I don't know where umlauf is but she might be busy with her little one and I think she was going to start teaching again as well. Miss her though, she had a very unique style.

Can I put my professional hat on......please, all parents of school new starters, don't linger too long if they cry....drop, kiss and run, don't look back. If you have a cryer they absolutely definitely would I lie to you stop after a few minutes and forget all about their parents who go home feeling like crap. I wish we had a CCTV that parents could watch sometimes.

You're right dry, whenever the DC (usually DS) cries when I drop them off at nursery they always tell me when I go and pick them up that it only lasted for a couple of minutes.

And it has happened more than once that DS tells me 'no mama, go away' when I go and pick him up.
