Oh that jumper is gorgeous Marsha but acrylic - yuk - and £340 Shock Shock, surely a misprint, should read cashmere - then I'd be tempted myself!

Lovely dress Hampton

Have just had a crash course in social media with a friend-look out for me bugging any of you on twitter/Instagram/Facebook with foodie pics, tweets etc! If you are actually interested in following my general healthy lifestyle stuff then please pm and once I've got it all working I can link you up Smile.

hamptoncourt · 04/06/2014 16:00

I got these and this to go with the dress.

Bit of fake tan and some nice earrings and I will be good to go.

bettykt · 04/06/2014 16:21

Love the colour of the shoes Hampton and nice dress

Marsha I like the V Victoria dress.

I'm hoping that hanging out on here will get me back into colour, atm I wear 50 shades of grey, white and black, no patterns, florals etc, very plain, but seeing that AW dress and Hampton's dress makes me think I should perhaps go for it. I need to get out of my oh I'd like to dress like the French phase and embrace colour and pattern. Saying that I do like to jazz things up with my shoes.

Sleep I'd like to follow your lifestyle stuff, I liked what you said about your blog about bikini body. I may go for it Shock

Was raining here too this morning so wore beige Boden 7/8 chinos with a plain white vest and a Just Cavalli top over the vest, actually that had colour in it! Was feeling rebellious and wore sandals despite the rain.

hamptoncourt · 04/06/2014 16:25

Yeah I normally wear black blue and white. It does make life simpler!

bettykt · 04/06/2014 16:45

It does mean that everything matches, I'm so lazy, but it's a bonus when I'm half asleep in the mornings Grin grey skinnies, grey t, black cardi, job done.

hamptoncourt · 04/06/2014 16:57

Sorry, I forgot to say grey. So actually I wear four colours which is pretty impressive really Grin

MarshaBrady · 04/06/2014 16:57

hello back from my social media real time shopping. God it's hard, connection drops out, takes ages to find the link. But your feedback was great.

I didn't get any of those things but felt a lot happier on the second floor where everything was 40% off. I a bit Shock at the prices, which was why I was sticking downstairs but nothing was right, and everything was gone. But with discount and voucher the Phillip Lim jumper was pretty good. Will find a link.

QueenCadbury · 04/06/2014 17:00

Sorry, but I had to share this Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/06/2014 17:04

Oh my good god!!

MarshaBrady · 04/06/2014 17:08

Oh my word!! She doesn't look real!

AmberNectarine · 04/06/2014 17:18

You can't deny she puts the effort in though.

OneLittleLady · 04/06/2014 17:26

wow, just wow.

shopafrolic · 04/06/2014 18:19

Why? Why did you have to share?

maradesbois · 04/06/2014 18:30

Nice understated chic from KP!

betty I used to struggle with colour too but have got a lot better at trying it since being on this thread. Still don't like pattern though.

hampton great dress.

marsha look forward to your link.

Well today I managed to spend £600 in total at hairdressers and opticians and hair was only £33! Got some oversized Tom ford tortoiseshell sunglasses which I love, will see if can find link.

Drywhiteplease · 04/06/2014 18:49

Good god QueenC you could have warned us! When will she stop? But then again she's made a good living from it Hmm
Lovely dress Hampton
shop can you link yours? nosey
Marsha lovely links from Liberty.

Stress levels are fine sips g +t after 6 loud scaffolders for 3 days my lovely 2 builders are a welcome sight and I'm out most of the day My heart beat didn't flinch today when I got home to the news that they're going to have to put supporting "strong boys" yippee Grin in my kitchen so the ceiling doesn't fall in while they put a steel beam on top of it oh and there is no roof, and it's poured all day I'm in the zone.....caaaaalllllllllmmmmmmm so far

So....sorry do skip this, it may take some time.........

Saturday 2 big things happening:

  1. I'm getting highlights put in my hair. Too many greys showing now and I fancy looking sun kissed Grin
  1. Sleep you may enjoy this bit. I agreed a few weeks ago yes I'd had several glasses of wine to participate in a 4hr spinathon. I know, I know. But I thought it would be fun Hmm, and it's for a good cause. For someone who 5yrs ago would rather lie on the sofa eating a cheese sandwich and reading Vogue, this is quite something. I've never done a sponsored anything sporty.
So, my 2 athletic, cycling mad friends are doing it too yikes I haven't really given it much thought apart from the prospect of wearing a yellow tutu, SONOT MY COLOUR . Today I've received texts asking what my eating plan is Hmm weirdo marathon runners

My eating plan is;

Bottle or orange squash.
Chocolate cake to share afterwards in the gym cafe with Buck's Fizz Grin

DS has given me a pep talk. Apparently I need to have a carb load up the night before I don't do carbs....apart from the cake and eat Jelly babies throughout, drink energy drink and then have recovery, muscle repairing protein afterwards Shock .....NAAAAAAAA. I'm sticking with the original plan.Grin

But....may fall asleep in hairdressers chair afterwards and wake up with a blue rinse Grin

Sorry....epic.

Fedupnagging · 04/06/2014 18:54

I came on here to link to KP but you beat me to it Queen. Oh my! I think KP is a pretty savvy business woman - she knows how to market herself and makes millions from it. Not sure I really want to hear all about the car crash that is her private life though.

Sounds like a frustrating shop in Libertys Marsha. I liked the 2 dresses you linked especially the VB dress. I always like VB's clothes, the clean lines and understatedness (that's not a word but you know what I mean).

Hampton, lovely dress and shoes. Am wearing a lot of blue atm.

MarshaBrady · 04/06/2014 18:57

Dry that's fantastic! you'll be great.

Mara they sound good, I still need sunnies.

This is the Phillip Lim quite bright orange sweater. It was a different price in Liberty, ie more Confused but it worked out much less with 40% off and a voucher. So thankfully it only cost £130. I can handle that for a jumper.

I needed to get something, it was driving me nuts. There was nothing left at 40% on the other floor, and in the end I couldn't be bothered with the room that was still full price. Liberty and I are on a break, until the sale 70% off dregs maybe. Liberty the store that is Grin

MarshaBrady · 04/06/2014 19:02

Fedup I'm a bit wary of VB for some reason. Also all the thinner dresses were acrylic which put me off.

AmberNectarine · 04/06/2014 19:07

Dry I'm with your DS on this - 4 hrs of exercise is about what you'd do running a marathon! If you're going to be pedalling really intensively I'd advise upping your carb intake for three days prior to the event and having some sort of nutrition during - jelly babies is a good shout!

LinusDKD · 04/06/2014 19:31

Great dress hampton!

I love that P. Lim jumper marsha. Great colour.

dry are you mad?!

queenc I actually feel sorry for KP after seeing that picture. I must be hard ageing when you've always relied on your looks and you live your life in the public eye.

Her type of beauty doesn't age well and her type of celebrity is even harder to keep up.

hamptoncourt · 04/06/2014 19:34

Thanks for all the support on the dress!! I also feel sorry for KP. Her back must be permanently killing!

QueenCadbury · 04/06/2014 19:57

Glad you all enjoyed the KP pics Grin. She is v savvy and certainly knows how to grab the headlines. She's got us talking about her after all. I feel sorry for anyone who is that desperate for attention especially when she has millions in the bank.

Glad you bought something marsha. I'm not keen on the VB but that's because I don't like her. I'm not sure it's you either. Shame about the other jumper as I really liked that (but hate acrylic) but I think the one you got is very you.

Great outfit hampton

dry I've just a half marathon and I think your ds and amber are talking sense.

Drywhiteplease · 04/06/2014 20:03

Amber I hadn't thought about it like that....now I'm feeling a bit scared. Doubt I'll be doing intense spinning for all 4 hrs, reckon I could do 2 and then hide at the back Grin

maradesbois · 04/06/2014 20:05

marsha v nice jumper. Love the colour.

Think these are my glasses. Can't actually remember as left them at shop to get prescription lenses fitted, maybe they were a bit less round but v similar.

fedup I love the minimal lines of vb's stuff too. Not sure I could actually buy something though and at those prices. It irks me a bit that she just decided to be a fashion designer when others put in years of training at st martins, parsons etc.
