stokey I have the coil. It helped initially but the periods and pain have gradually got worse again. I do keep wondering whether I should get checked that it's still in the right place!

Hi all. Sounds fab turq and hope everyone had a good weekend. We went to PILs which sort of helped me avoid mid-sales panic as I don't check the internet much when there.

I want to praise the outnet for their returns system... ordered trousers, received, returned and got email confirming refund all within a week. Really really good.

So do we think NAP sale will start tomorrow?

On which note, I just ordered one more James Perse t. Now that is my pastel-ish simple ts done for the summer.

Novice sorry I missed your post last night but I have emailed you - no worries if you don't have time - I don't want to add to the stress levels
I'm wearing the Hush denim shorts today (thanks Amber) and my greeny / grey James Perse sweatshirt with camo espadrilles. Will have to get changed as my legs are cold! I'm trying to get them out (my legs!) whenever possible in the hope they get some colour before Provence. I am whiter than white.
The James Perse size 2 khaki dress has arrived so am off to see if I can squeeze myself into it (I'm not hopeful)......

Just went to Bond Street in my lunch hour and had proper A-list sleb spot....

Shop, so plan A didn't work! When I got lgdn I realised that when I originally booked the trip I was coming straight back tonight instead of country hopping. L'Occitaine is through security! No worries, I will check for you at the airport on way home tomorrow.

On days like this I feel my underdying love for my PA. She couriered me an envelope at the weekend (she doesn't trust me to forget it) and I opened it and it had my full itenary for these 2 days (tells me by colour coding where I need to be) plus my tickets, maps etc. it's all in my diary too. I have had 3 cars so far today picking me up and it's all been like clockwork.

Stokey my first thought when I see slebs is usually they're quite short . Or smaller than I thought, usually. Good spot!

queenc hope you're feeling a bit better. I've never had pmt but get this horrible bloating around abdomen which makes me look 6 m

months pregnant. Dh is nagging me to see doc about it. Hope you can find a solution as you shouldn't have to put up with how awful your hormones are making you feel.

Question: does even good quality white swimwear always go transparent? Am tempted by something you know where but dsis tells me will still go see-through when wet.

stokey good celeb spotting! Dsis and I also saw Keifer Sutherland at the George V bar in Paris a couple of years ago. The gossipy barman told us he was leathered but it didn't show.

Mara I am really not sure I'm afraid! I wonder if you google reviews someone will say.

I like this Theory dress but too short.

I would chat to CS Mara and ask if you are able to return it if once wet it becomes see through. You could then test it in the shower at home

I had a white bikini a long time ago that was fine when wet.
It all depends on the thickness of the fabric and if it's lined or not.

Mara, yes, I think you should probably test out white swimwear before wearing I public, just in case!

I have learnt something today. American Vintage tees are a total waste of money! I handwash in no bio, look after them well, and every one I own has small holes after 4 or 5 wears. Just rubbish. J Crew only from now on.

Will do Shop I've only worn and washed one so far. All my tees from last summer are wrecked! Hence the restock.

That's bad shop! I have to say all my AV tees from last year are still in good condition. Shame they are two sizes too big now and I wear them to bed now.

I have read through the last few pages to catch and havr enjoyed all the links. So many of you have bought lovely things,

I hadn't done much clothes shopping for a while (NYC handbag doesn't count!) but then had a splurge on Saturday. I bought this Whistles skirt which I wore for work today. I also ordered quite a few things from Winser (link to follow). I got a dress and top last year which were very well made, although synthetic.

Shop that seems to happen to all tees, so annoying.

I'm way behind - need to have a proper catch up but too tired right now. Just thought I pop on and say that the Petty boots and these shoes are both going back.

I love the Petty's but I will trash suede so will look for some in leather instead. And the shoes give me a lot of toe cleavage and a rather squished look - they are gorgeous though curses wide feet

stokey good spot. I'm not sure that I'd recognise him anymore. Always a disappointment if they're shorter than expected though. Tom cruise is v short (although he's never done it for me- never did get the fuss over top gun)

mara I used to have one,it was lined but still you could see pretty much everything when it gets wet,I don't wear it anymore,

I was talking to my mum and she says she is coming this Thursday for the harrods pre sale invite and she wants me to come with her,as she wants help picking things,I find this fascination with harrods very amusing,she can easily find all what she is looking for in paris,but she says it feels extra special buying it from harrods! I really hate going there and always get lost! I find I spend most of the time trying to find my way or looking for whoever I went with!! anyway,she says she will make it ip, by taking me to lunch at jaks, which makes it worth it I guess
