New necklace received lots of comments today.

Had a mad day. But just before it started the Matches sale email came through and the G Rossi heels were 50% off, rather than 40. That extra 10 made all the difference . So they are winging their way here. Need to be perfect and no gross toe squishing or else they are going back.

linus thanks for the tip off about matches sale.......I've lusted after it for a while! I know it's not cheap but CPW will be low, I just had to do it. this is on is way. My sale shopping is accessories this time. No more now

Oh and now I know how to pronounce it, I've bought and cooked some quinoa....looks a bit odd, actually quite unappetising really. Think I prefer couscous but will do something interesting with it

I think I achieved the impossible today and fit into a size SMALL tunic/dress from mango! It's been stuffed under the bed since I put weight on and today......I can get into it and it looks ok!!! Also, the scales say 13 stone 10 lbs today!!!

Oh my garish Sportmax lace top arrived and I love it, so I wore it out last night. Got uproariously drunk and now feel dire. Bad times.

What a fab birthday venue Sleep. I had a great meal at Sketch, in the plus Library room I think they call it. Happy birthday from here.

Mara ah what a shame. I'll probably wear mine tomorrow. This working malarkey seriously puts the wardrobe through its paces.

I had my eye on some shoes at Matches as well but they were only 30% off so were still £££. They were in my basket, I only had to press 'buy' but I didn't.

I thought there would be lots of purchases being made today but everyone is very restrained so far! I'm just looking at Matches now as I had a horrible busy and unproductive day. Also got PMT and feel weird and indecisive and not ready for the sales!

My Tibi trousers arrived yesterday and have gone back today. They were nice but just not cut for me. Too tight on thighs and loose on waist The Outnet had better refund me quickly!

Yes but Amber it was good times last night. There are always some pieces in a wardrobe that are just good time clothes, your new top is obv one of those garments I prescribe a bar of Dairy Milk, fresh orange squash, diet coke and neurofen

My mango dress arrived and I'm keeping it. Looks great with the silver belt and my silver sandals so if it's hot on Saturday will wear it then.

I loved turning 40 - perfect excuse to party hard. It's just birthdays since then that have felt rubbish

DS has had a fab play date today. So nice to be able to be outside watching the kids run around like mad. Good times :)

thanks everyone I haven't actually weighed myself for a bit, have been trying to stay off the scales for the most part as I don't want to get into a cycle of analyzing every single pound. Am pleased though and even more pleased that I fit in the mango tunic/dress, it used to be one of my favourite things to wear in warm weather and I was dubious about it fitting today but was most definitely pleasantly surprised when I tried it on!

This jumpsuit has arrived. When I took it out of the packet I thought oh this is going to look bad. But actually I quite like it! Very soft. Very comfy. Can wear with the teal new belt.

Blair ah, but good you know quickly to return. When I've decided that I always want it over with quickly.

Not really regretting not buying those shoes shop. Which means I really like them but not enough at that price.

Yup Linus my DH is loving it too. It's actually pretty good for that type of movie. Good stuff about the shoes - right decision.
