Did I miss a link Dry? What yellow clutch? I have literally just this minute been thinking a yellow bag would be good with my AV dress.

Sleepwhenidie · 12/06/2014 08:14

Oh Queen try not to worry, such a shame for your DD, DS1 is still not dry at night, he is 9 in August Shock - other 2 dry at night by 3yo, it just goes like that. He had the tablets prescribed last year but they made no difference. We are now trying an alarm - I was woken up by DD coming in at 4.45am this morning to complain that it had woken her up (2 bedrooms away) but DS1 was sleeping soundly through the beeping and buzzing, I had to wake him up to go to the loo Hmm. I'm sure it will sort itself but it's tough. Not the best day for this to happen, it's DD's birthday, we are going to Sketch for afternoon tea Smile.

Matches sale is on!

Hopefully · 12/06/2014 09:34

I am a fan of Sally Hansen spray on stuff after memorable fake tan incident where I forgot my upper thighs/bottom. Looked like a new breed of baboon...

shopafrolic · 12/06/2014 09:40

Whistles sale on too - including the fab Orange sweatshirt that Dry and I have, and lots of grey bags and boots.

Nothing of interest on mulberry and am idly browsing matches.
Shop I have the Sally hansen legs stuff on my list of things to buy today.

Secretsquirrel13 · 12/06/2014 10:09

Just want to say happy birthday to Sleep's dd

Lovely clutch Dry

Am off to check out the sales.

maradesbois · 12/06/2014 10:28

Morning,

Thanks for all the sales tips!

queenc your poor dd, hope you get a better doc soon.

sleep afternoon tea at sketch sounds lovely. Hearing that kind of thing makes me so excited about moving to London.

My new gigis arrived this morning, love them. Wasn't sure about patent but was all shop bop had in my size. In reality there's so little leather that doesn't even matter. Out running some errands and going to try and fit in pedicure and shellac on way home.

marsha glad the c&p skirt is a keeper. Regret not ordering it too but the extra 30% off no longer available.

fedup am no good at applying fake tan so just stick to the moisturiser ones to take the ghostly white away & if you mess up the application it's not so bad. The Clarins one is my favourite.

maradesbois · 12/06/2014 10:29

liberty lunch at Tate modern on a workday is a lovely London thing too! Am down there next week to do with the next step in my studies and hoping to get to see the Matisse cuts and the sales

Annianni · 12/06/2014 10:36

Happy birthday to Sleep's dd Cake

I've had a little look at the sales but i'm not buying anything!!!

Stokey · 12/06/2014 10:40

Oooh love Sketch Sleep - have never been there for afternoon tea though, let me know what it is like.

I have just spend £200 on bikinis - some of which will definitely be going back! - so don't know if I can indulge in the sales.

Would still like a dress to wear to my 40th but have this which is a bit retro but does flatter my curves rather nicely.

Secretsquirrel13 · 12/06/2014 11:05

Sleep hope your dd enjoys her birthday trip out.
Mara my shopbop order was shipped yesterday so am hopeful it will arrive tomorrow just in time for when I need it on Saturday, was guided by your advice that they deliver quickly.
Meanwhile I ordered a jaeger Breton which is nowhere to be seen but no rush for that.
My navy US amazon gigis order has been refunded as 'undeliverable' so have just fired off stern email to see why (but actually have bought enough for the time being so mentally assigned that money to something else).

Stokey · 12/06/2014 11:05

Does anyone who is a UK 5 have Gigis?

If so what size did you get? 8 or 8.5? I have narrow feet. Thanks

Secretsquirrel13 · 12/06/2014 11:09

Go for the 8.5, I am a uk 4-4.5 and mine are 7.5 and 8, not much difference between the 2 sizes.

shopafrolic · 12/06/2014 11:27

What a fab day for a birthday miniSleep -hope you all have fun

OP posts:
Stokey · 12/06/2014 12:00

Thanks Secret - they have some on Matches but think 8.5 have gone.

Maybe you can get some to replace the mystery Amazon ones, no navy though.

libertychick · 12/06/2014 13:33

I like that dress Stokey. Looks very va va voom! 40 is great BTW.

Stokey · 12/06/2014 13:53

Thanks Liberty Thanks

I know it's just a number, just psychologically an important one!

Secretsquirrel13 · 12/06/2014 14:14

I think 41 the birthday is worse- you feel quite ancient but without all the fuss and excitement.

Secretsquirrel13 · 12/06/2014 14:15

That should read being 41 is worse- I'm actually quite articulate in real lifeSmile

libertychick · 12/06/2014 14:36

I agree Secret*, I am 41 soon, feels like an anticlimax.

I'm in the Tate, found a nice quiet corner to work, was deep in a spreadsheet when out of the corner of my eye I spotted something scurrying....just so you all know, the Tate has mice! Needless to say I have relocated to one of the coffee areas and am just putting up with the noise. Getting the occasional little shudder every time I think about it.
