I love balconette styles but they're not suitable, even in small sizes, just completely flat all the way to my nipple. No exaggeration. Been measured a billion times. Still not found The One (the bra that my boobs don't fall out of by popping under the wiring).

Any other small-breasted ladies which found a soliton?

Ok, if you're falling out underneath the wiring, I would guess that you are wearing too big a band.

Can you measure yourself following this guide and post your measurements. I (or another 'bra lady') can then suggest sizes/styles/brands to suit.

Non wired bras would be better. Wires are only helpful if the weight if the breast holds them down and needs the support. With a smaller bust it will just ride up. You can get a closer fit with non wired.

Sorry, but IME a wired bra won't ride up if it's the correct size.

If you can pop under then the band is too big. measure accoaccording to the guide sorrel linked to

OK, your measurements alone tell me that you are absolutely not flat chested! Sizes to try are 28C/D and 30B/C. However, I know a few people with very similar measurements who've ended up in 28E/30DD!

M&S Limited range do some nice plunge, lightly padded styles in those sizes. The Lepel Fiore padded plunge is also a good buy for your shape and size.

I'm a 30D after being correctly measured by the lovely bra ladies on here, got a lovely bra with a bit of padding from Boux Avenue, gives me boobs and is nice and comfy (I was a 34A/B before)

Do you have relatively flat but wide breasts or tiny buds? I'm have wide set breasts that are wide and shallow - like this - and love them and dislike padding. Go for a tighter band and a bigger cup (I went from A to D!) and the bra underwire climbing up phenomenon will stop.

I also love strapless styles. Maidenform and Calvin Klein. Balconette are great too. Check out French brands, they tend to understand small breasts really well.

Cos also do lovely unpadded lacy triangle bras that are very flattering.

Where's the best place to try all of these makes / most of them? Westfield might be good, I'm thinking.
I've just been discharged from hospital (which I omitted to tell you and will inevitably affect my shape as I balance out my weight again).
It was spinal surgery so I'm not quite up for a big shopping trip. Maybe marks n sparks.

Not m and s. They'll have you banged up in a 34aa.

If Westfield west (you know what I mean) go to rigby and pellar (if the bras too dear you can always use to find size and shape and shop else where

M&S are so ridiculous for trying to put EVERYONE under a size 16 in a 34" band.

Actually, most fitters do so. Just so they sell more of their crappy 34" sizes.

You're a 30 band at most. You could try a 28 band but if you're anything like me (skinny ribs with no padding), the underwire rubs a bit and gets a bit sore. So many 28s size up to 30 and go down a cup.

OP, have you tried bralettes? I recently tried a Made by Dawn bralette type bikini and thought it would have been perfect for me when I was younger. Also still recommend triangle bras, the pretty lace ones have sold out but a few other types still available at COS. A friend really likes them - she could go braless as well but finds those very pretty and feminine and confidence boosting. Just make sure the band is as tight as possible.

Personally I think small-bust women have a lot of lovely choices out there, perhaps the pretties bras ever made!

When I'm better, that's where I'll head - for measuring at least (R&P). Just hope I don't cane in with guilt of measuring n buy something super expensive! Lol
I've been measured n bought three lovely bras, so many times at. M&S. Each time, at home ice found myself slipping n sliding n popping down.

I'm similar measurements to you and have had good results trying on 30D. I tried John Lewis and debenhams so far. Still not found anything great but that size is better than the 32b I have been in for 10 years.

Small-boobed lady here.
I just wear inexpensive, slightly padded bras that make my boobs look slightly bigger.
I don't bother with underwires or anything. Don't need them.

I have a flat chest too, and for years I wore a 32A, and barely filled that. I have recently realised that I have (its all relative, you understand) wide, shallow boobs, and I need a style that accommodates that shape. I have only ever worn bras from M&S and none of them have fit. They are slightly padded though, which gives me a bit of shape (again, its all relative). I now realise that I measure a 30D, which is a revelation to me. For so long, I thought that I was the smallest size in the shop, barely fitting into a womenswear range, and it was crap for my self confidence. Since I know that I am a shallow 30D, even though the actual size of my boobs hasn't changed in reality, I feel so much more positive about them! I'd never have surgery either, OP. Having had two c-sections to deliver my DC, I sort of take the view that I feel that an enlargement would come under the 'unnecessary surgery' banner, and I wouldn't take the risk.

I am saving up for a Rigby and Peller fitting. I also like the Mimi Holliday bras, which are reduced on Amazon at the moment, and eligible for Prime.

lougle The Lepel Fiore range is very good and could work for you. Also the Cleo Lucy might be worth a try.

John Lewis has plenty of 28 and 30 back bras. You might like something like this

I've gone from a fomer 34A/B M&S to a 32D now that I am measuring properly.

Sorrel - the Lepel Fiore padded plunge, or the padded balcony, would you say, please? I am a very similar shape to lougle - wode set, shallow boobs with pointy out nipples. If I could get a bra which fits for 22 delivered (the Lepel Fiore on amazon), I would be beyond delighted. I had resigned myself to a R&P fiitting and swallowing their prices.

I'd try the padded plunge first as I've a friend (28D) who wears this. It doesn't make her boobs look big as such just gives a nice shape and a hint of cleavage.

Sorrell I have bought the Lepel Fiore padded plunge. In white, it is 11 odd on amazon, delivered with Prime. I can't believe it - I will be ecstatic if it fits, as they do it in loads of colours. Thanks for the guidance.
