Bra for Tiny Tits, here

I love balconette styles but they're not suitable, even in small sizes, just completely flat all the way to my nipple. No exaggeration. Been measured a billion times. Still not found The One (the bra that my boobs don't fall out of by popping under the wiring).

Any other small-breasted ladies which found a soliton?

Ok here goes

Under - 29"
Fullest
35-36"

Quite 'deflated' after three pregnancies/ feeding. Lack of volume above the nip. Giving serious thought to a boob job, but think i should try the bra avenue first. 4k buys a lot of nice bras :)

SorrelForbes · 11/02/2014 09:53

OhBabyLilyMunster Sizes to try: 28FF/F and 30E/F.

I'd avoid full cups and plunge styles and look for balconettes with uplift. You sound a similar shape to my DSis and she likes the Cleo Juna and the Lepe Fiore half cup.

Are your breasts wide set or close together? Do they project or are they quite shallow?

coffeeaddict · 11/02/2014 10:06

luckywinner I am similar shape and have gone from thinking was 36A to 30C/32C (thank you wise bra interventionists!!) I bought an Elle McPherson bra yesterday in 32 C. Gorgeous. The girl who sold it to me said wistfully 'I'd love to wear that but you have to be the right shape, lucky you'.

I'd rather be smaller than larger....

FrugalFashionista · 11/02/2014 10:23

Fantastic Coffee! Yes, a lot of the really pretty and flirty bras are only available in the smallest sizes. When you have to make them more supportive, they become more utilitiarian and engineered. Some details, like experimental low cut cup shapes and slim shoulder straps just don't work well for bigger busts. So enjoy and make the most of what you have!

teta · 11/02/2014 10:56

Frugal I will!.I hope they will fit me.Buying bras online is really is a bit of a stab in the dark though.

OhBabyLilyMunster · 11/02/2014 14:25

Sorrel - wide boobs but no real volume now. Still quite perky, no sagging

SorrelForbes · 11/02/2014 14:31

OhBabyLilyMunster Try the Lepel Fiore range too, it's very pretty.

OhBabyLilyMunster · 11/02/2014 14:47

Thank you very much indeed, will report back!

HappyAsEyeAm · 11/02/2014 17:44

Sorrel, the lepel fiore is too tight for me in a 30D, so I will have to go up to the 32. I will try C and D. The bra is really nice though, and I really really hope it will fit in a bigger band. If it does, I will be buying it in every colour!

SorrelForbes · 11/02/2014 17:51

HappyAsEyeAm Did you try it on back to front? If not, it's worth doing to ensure that it's not a bigger cup you need. Nice bra.

HappyAsEyeAm · 11/02/2014 19:52

Sorrel, I did try it on back to front, yes. I really couldn't do it up. It was incredibly tight. I know that I need to reassess my idea of what a well fitting bra should feel like after wearing a 36A for so long, but I think I need a 32 in this style. I love the bra though.

SorrelForbes · 11/02/2014 22:12

Interesting. I've always found Lepel to run pretty true to size but will have to add the padded plunge to my list of small bands! It wasn't black by any chance? They tend to come up smaller than other colours.

foxinorangesocks · 11/02/2014 22:23

I'm a 32b. No matter where I'm measured I'm the same, no exciting bigger cup smaller back revelations here! I love Calvin Klein push up bras and also Intimissimi who do amazing ranges of bras for smaller boobed ladies. In Spain I actually feel big breasted Smile

HappyAsEyeAm · 12/02/2014 09:21

Sorrel, no it was white. It was really tight. By contrast, simnnce I have had the intervention treatment, I have bought a Curvy Kate, and I am a 30D in one of their bras, and one of the Mimi Holliday bras did fit me in a 30D, the others in the same size were really too tight. So I think I will be a 30D or a 32C/D in shallow cup bras depending on the brand. I am quite limited because my boobs are wide set and shallow and I need some padding. I can't tell you how much I want the Lepel Fiore padded plunge to fit. I have a 32C and a 32D being delivered through Amazon today. I will report back.

SorrelForbes · 12/02/2014 10:27

Please do!

The Cleo Lucy is also good for shallow breasts and starts at a D cup.

plasticbanana · 12/02/2014 11:00

For those of you with bony ribs you might like to try this bra:

Calvin Klein Seductive Comfort bra

It's not beautiful but gives my tiny tits a great shape under clothes and although I have a really tight band it doesn't hurt my bony ribs as the band is nicely smooth and padded. Smile

HappyAsEyeAm · 12/02/2014 22:30

Sorrel, I am a 32C in the lepel fiore padded plunge. I am quite happy with it! The 32D was ok on one boob, but big in the cup on the other. I now need to find a bra with smooth cups as the lace on the fiore will show through and sort of stick to some of my tops and dresses. I have shallow, wide boobs and need padding due to their smallness and very pointy nipples. Can I trouble you for another suggestion please?

HappyAsEyeAm · 12/02/2014 22:31

And I am not at all bony by the way. Very fleshy arounpd my ribcage Blush

MylesKennedysVocalCords · 13/02/2014 10:57

Sorry for the slight hijack, but was wondering if MNs bra gurus could help me? I measured my boobs- underbust is 32ins and round the fullest part is 38ins. absolutely no clue as to what size I should try!

I wear a 36D at the moment, am a size 10 on top and I only ever feel confident in padded push up bras, i like the type of shape they give me. TIA! Smile

MylesKennedysVocalCords · 13/02/2014 11:00

forgot to add that i always have trouble with straps being far too loose! sorry about the type

MylesKennedysVocalCords · 13/02/2014 11:02

Arrrgh sorry about the triple bloody post, damn this phone!!

SorrelForbes · 13/02/2014 12:31

HappyAsEyeAm Success! Apparently the Fiore padded plunge does come up small so that makes sense!

M&S Limited range used to do a plain padded plunge style which you may be able to pick up on eBay. It also comes up small in the band. Have a look at the Bravissimo Satine as well. I think it starts at a D.

MylesKennedysVocalCords Your measurements suggest a 32E, however that is the same cup size, volume wise as your 36D. If you scoop, do you get overspill/bulge anywhere? If so, be prepared to go bigger in the cup (probably around a 32F/FF).

I'd suggest finding your size with unpadded balconette styles at first. Padded and moulded bras are quite tricky to fit sometimes. Make sure you test the band by trying it on back to front before sorting the cups. Straps being too loose is a sign that the band is too big.

MylesKennedysVocalCords · 13/02/2014 12:44

Thanks for your help Sorrel, I shall try a 32E in the style you suggested on Saturday and see how I get on (with spillage when I scoop!)
