Can anyone tell I am in my Blue Period? Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/02/2014 20:09

Evening! Just a quick one, am out with PIL for FIL's 60th going to a posh Chinese. Currently in pub with prosecco. Wearing new Zara top, goldsign skinnies and pistols. Have a lovely evening all, looking forward to reading back tomorrow x

Annianni · 15/02/2014 20:51

Evening all...

I need this but I also like it in this colour too...

I also love these shoes... and these shoes
And I think i'm in love with these lovely Pistols... even though I know they are just a bit too snug on the ankle for me Sad

Oh... and this is the cashmere jumper I ordered from Boden. Not sure about that neckline on me, but for £29, i'll give it a try.

Love those shoes Amber, fabulous!

Glad everyone's surviving the storms.

Good to see you back Queenc, hope you're all better soon.

Drywhiteplease · 15/02/2014 21:09

Anni that first pair of pewter heels are EACTLY what I need for RA...but not at all practical or comfy looking. Gorgeous though.
Great links...love them all.
Linus you're on a shoe roll.
Shop glad the storm damage is fixed. It was howling last night and still growling tonight. Apparently big snow is coming next week.....yikes!
Article about NAP lady in Times mag today, must read later.
Am loving all the pointy sling back talk another thing to add to ever increasing March wish list
It's nearly Gucci Wednesday Grin

LinusDKD · 15/02/2014 21:55

dry maybe not the most fashion forward shoes but they do look comfortable

boden

Drywhiteplease · 15/02/2014 22:09

Ooh Linus you're good at this.....worth a try. They do look comfortable although round toed shoes always make me feel dumpy Hmm.

BrandyAlexander · 15/02/2014 23:42

Ugh.too much to drink. Head swimming.

MarshaBrady · 16/02/2014 06:45

Hello beautiful people.

Shop I am reading Alice Munro and I am so pleased she won the Nobel Prize for literature last year. I always thought she was incredibly good.

My elder sister has arrived and out big reunion has started. Ds1 did a fantastically well done speech (we do a lot in this family) to a table of 12. We felty very proud!

QueenCadbury · 16/02/2014 08:53

Morning. Anyone reading ST style? If so what type of gilet woman are you? Unfortunately for me it concentrated on the furry type rather than my practical north face offering [ grin]. And, I've never seen a furry gilet in a book club in Bristol!

I also want to visit new look after seeing this kimono. There's loads of others online too. No idea whether they'd suit me but next time I'm shopping I will try one on.

Blue skies here. How about everyone else?

Annianni · 16/02/2014 09:10

I'

Annianni · 16/02/2014 09:13

I'm not a gillet wearer Queenc. I'd quite like a furry one though.

Has anyone noticed the fake Mulberry thread?
It was annoying me, I had to comment... I suspect it's only a matter of time before it all kicks off though.

Annianni · 16/02/2014 09:14

Gilet!!!

Drywhiteplease · 16/02/2014 09:37

Lovely morning here. Am sitting by my bifold doors with a strong coffee feeling the sun on my face and enjoying the p and q visitors at rugby bliss.

Marsha I love a family reunion. Sounds like you're having a lovely time Smile

QC still feeling happy you're back I'm missing Sleep and Foxy and a few others too, it's gone quiet, is everyone reading books? I'm really not a gilet woman at all. Maje me feel small and stock. I have a "body warmer" embarrassed to mention this that I used to wear a lot with combat trousers yes, ME, bet you're all shocked and trainers when I was going through a mummy crisis All Saints period. I still have it and keep it for emergencies Grin .....it is never seen in public.

Ooooh I feel a Sunday question coming.........do you have any non vogue clothing you wear at home only, for comfort, not fashion, that you'd be mortified to be seen in in public?

BrandyAlexander · 16/02/2014 09:38

Morning all. Head hurts. I am clutching Brew dh clutching head and looking v pathetic dying on sofa. I have been up 4 hours as both dd wet bed.Hmm

Went out to dinner last night. Cocktails and champagne pre dinner, white wine with first course, red wine with dinner and tokaji with dessert. Dh said I passed out on bed. That wasn't quite what I had planned post dinner! Weirdly, I managed to take out contacts, and remove most of make up.Shock

I finally got to wear this DvF dress which I bought last year. It looked and felt amazing. I remember umming and ahhhming and Marsha and Shop saying I should keep it. Great call ladies! I also wore my Jimmy Choo swaroski crystal shoes. They cost me £950 about 8 years ago and I had to sneak them into the flat so dh wouldn't see them. Blush They have been worn so often (cost per wear great value) and still look brand new. In keeping with the evening I went all out on the bling .....

new necklace, bracelet, ring, tiffany 1 ct studs (mini heart attack as couldn't find them at first), hermes heure diamond watch (last years bday present). Bling bling!Grin

Drywhiteplease · 16/02/2014 09:39

"make me feel small and stocky"!!

BrandyAlexander · 16/02/2014 09:40

Dry, I am not a gilet person at all but dd got one for her birthday from dsis, she looks so gorgeous in it, I want. yes, dd really is 5

Drywhiteplease · 16/02/2014 09:47

Out for pub lunch.....sick of jeans, will wear coat

Drywhiteplease · 16/02/2014 09:47

scarf

Drywhiteplease · 16/02/2014 09:49

dress
Opaques and either flat animal print pointy slippers or boots.
I'm having a multi link fail.
But for now it's Sweaty Betty for my Sunday torture Kettlesise class

BrandyAlexander · 16/02/2014 10:00

Lovely outfit Dry. Especially love the coatSmile

AmberNectarine · 16/02/2014 10:46

Yep sexy neon running gear here dry - dropping the kids at a playdate then off for a four-miler

QueenCadbury · 16/02/2014 11:09

I'm in sexy cycling gear. It was fab to see the local open space near us so full of life again with people and kids running and cycling. What a difference a bit of sunshine makes Smile

QueenCadbury · 16/02/2014 11:11

dry I wear my sweatpants and fleece (out of necessity to keep the heating down!) a lot around the house but they're Nike and north face so I'm not totally averse to being seen in public in them if I have to. I'd be more mortified for someone to see me now with my greasy hair. The good thing about cycling is hiding it under a helmet!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 16/02/2014 11:14

Nice outfit Dry. I'm with you - jeans seem to have taken over my life too. Although my R&B skinnies are quite possibly the jeans I have searched for my whole life and I'd make an exception for them.

Novice I am positively swooning over that DVF dress. Aye Carumba!

Mignonette · 16/02/2014 11:35

Quick pit stop to say a big hello and welcome back to Queen. Sorry to hear of all the illness visited upon your household and hopefully the Spring will bring some redemption from it all.

Yes I have decided Spring is coming from the flimsiest of evidence-

Primroses and Cowslips in my garden
We have roses, yes roses in bloom and the sun is out.

Terrified all of Friday night as our house sounded like it was falling down. Could not sleep and I still feel like a stunned mullet today- too old to be sleepless anywhere let alone Seattle.

Back later to answer Sunday question and drool over links.
