Santa here are mine

Blair I am not brave at all just vain as I would rather have the surgery than wear glasses! The thought of it terrifies me actually. Not even sure yet if I will be able to have it with my high precription. There is no point if they cannot fully correct the vision. Santa ,Because glad you had good experience and thanks for the reassurance but does it hurt?

libertychick · 13/02/2014 22:54

libertychick · 13/02/2014 23:00

Annianni · 13/02/2014 23:02

I agree with Mig... Dry is busy!

Turquoiseblue · 13/02/2014 23:02

Evening all,
Sorry missed loads.
Decam, I have the 50/50s in black they re a few years old the seam at the top wore the stitching came loose. (from pulling them on and off) I adored them, but I got them repaired but by a klutz (cost a bomb and they were specialist cobblers but did such a bad job) and when I saw the repair instead of saying anything I left the shop ! In tears.
They did get a bit loose and slouchy too but it wouldn't stop me buying them again. Budget won't allow at the moment ! If you can go for it!

libertychick · 13/02/2014 23:03

Grin at Grumpy

I've just gone and got a snack - brie and olives! If I get really fat it's all your fault....

Oh and I had an AR moment last tuesady when I saw the Parisienne maison scotch had come back onto stock - got them , a Day birger top and the neon pink bag all very bargainous - then told dh that my valentines present from him was ordered - it arrived today but with work and heading away for the weekend I won't get to try it until Monday.
Feel like a traitor for not telling about it before this! But am really from now going to have to not spend any more for a few weeks

Dry! How wonderful! can t wait to hear. Lucky you, and you deserve them!
Xx

Annianni · 13/02/2014 23:09

There's a park near us that we used to walk round of an evening, with Ds2 in the pram.

Until I pointed out to dh that the only other people about were men on their own Hmm

We were feeding the ducks one Sunday afternoon with both dc's and 2 men came out of the bushes. It put me off going again.
I googled the park when we got home and it was recommended on several gay pick up sites, and highlighted for being close to the flipping m6!

Mignonette · 13/02/2014 23:11

We don't do Valentines but DH is a soppy old love all year round Smile. I might get a dance in the kitchen (an upright dance dance Grin) but have never done Valentines.

Have now listened to Mazzy Star five times in a row. Does anybody else do that? I remember some research that says repeated playing is your brain 'learning' the patterns of the music and song and when it has been learned, you lose some of that compulsion. Then again I might just be a compulsive person (snorts- no 'might' about it).

These are the mint green suede Converse i have always loved. I bought them in Fort Myers, Florida years ago. And a photo of a teeny kitten for you all.

Anni We took our newborn son for a walk on Hampstead Heath one sunny afternoon. Until we noticed all the men..... One of them very saucily wandered across my then partners sightline and bent over to tie his shoelaces in a very dramatic manner.

My then partner was always being propositioned. He didn't mind-- took compliments where he could get them and i was like 'have him- he's a complete prick anyway' Wink

Annianni · 13/02/2014 23:16

Mig :o

BecauseIsaidS0 · 13/02/2014 23:18

We don't do Valentines either. The hotel's restaurant has been advertising their special menu all week - it is their normal menu but twice as expensive. We will be ordering room service Grin.

libertychick · 13/02/2014 23:18

Which Day Birger top Turq?

Mig I do that all the time with songs. Get obsessed with one track or one album and play it incessantly. Yesterday I listened to Christy Moore 'Bright Blue Rose' 3 times in a row...might go and listen again now.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/02/2014 23:19

I haven't had any experiences relating to dogging or gay pickup sites - glad though! Lol at saucily walking and bending over.

mig those trainers look really fresh right now, not years old (pun not intended though the colour is minty!). My sister got some plain chuck taylor converse in the same colour at the weekend and it's a gorgeous shade.

Hmmm I don't think Dry is coming back tonight either Wink

libertychick · 13/02/2014 23:21

Yes I am giving up on Dry her DH has beaten us for her attention tonight and rightly so!

Night all.

Think you're all right! Wink

Mignonette · 13/02/2014 23:36

Blair I hardly wore them- they stayed 'Minty Fresh' Smile. have some old tan suede Kanga's too that i loved. i'm an old skool girl -Gazelle's, Stan Smith and Converse.

Love Christy Moore Liberty. I also listen to Moby over and over especially the '18' CD.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 14/02/2014 00:08

Christy Moore is an institution.

Turq I hope you sized up in the Parisiennes. I ordered them because I loved them and when they arrived they were teeny! Not a lot of stretch (ie virtually none) and I abandoned halfway up my thighs. Shame - great wash/shape.

Where the absolute f is Dry?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 14/02/2014 00:12

Yay! Richard E Grant's Hotels has just come on. DH and I love him - he has great style too

Morning,

Sounds exciting Dry - update needed asap.

Mig, love the colour of your converse. The kitten is pretty cute too but prefer the footwear Grin

Blair the gigis are a uk5/us7.5. As I ordered from a uk site, the sizing was uk. Am usually a 4.5.

Dogging Shock mig. Learnt recently, (via a link on MN!) that our favourite dog walking place is a particularly popular spot.

Some links considering this
nice style
nice back detail

Decided I would like an 'on trend' shirt dress but not too ££.
