Hi Springs.
New thread, hopefully, with the following link to our old one....

Early Spring

Nice jumper WhoKnicked, not in my size sadly! My order came up with free delivery from my link luckliy.
I grabbed the following (sure most will go back);
Dress in Ultramarine.
Dress in black/sandstone (yes, black, I know!)
Jumper in bright pink.
Cardi in orange
Bistro crops in blue floral.
Skater skirt in green.
Yes all very bright! I will look like I'm on Ceebebees!

Joycey29 · 16/02/2014 09:49

So I know own the Juicy Papaya lip butter and the sheer rum from CMB.
Both look good and I can see myself wearing them.
Dare I say a success.....Confused

Aquelven · 17/02/2014 15:15

I'm bumping us up cos we're page three now Grin

Did any of your things arrive Mumelie or were they cancelled, some people seem to have had problems.
What do you think of the Juicy Papaya, Joycey ? I'm liking it.

I went into town & came back with a bit of a haul Blush
Some of those useful stretchy layering tops from Primark, a couple of lipsticks ( MUA 15 & Clarins Watermelon) and, from TKMaxx , a green leather biker jacket & a waterproof ski jacket/parka type thingy. It was the colour that grabbed me, a bright turquoise trimmed with our bright green and our bright pink on the pockets & collar. So CeeBeebies will have nothing on me Grin Actually it's much nicer than it sounds.

OP posts:
Aquelven · 17/02/2014 15:18

Oh, I forgot....and a pair of greenish/grey leather & suede boots from Clarks sale Blush
But...but...but...they are the first pair of shoes/boots I've bought in nearly two years with waiting for & going through my foot ops. Well, that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it Grin

OP posts:
MrsPeacockDidIt · 17/02/2014 15:49

Aquelven, never apologise and never explain about new boots Grin

MrsPeacockDidIt · 17/02/2014 15:52

I picked up a couple of cardigans from H&M which are a bargain at 9.99 and come in loads of colours so I thought it was worth stocking up.

Last week I bought grey leather jacket to replace a brown one which will go to a very good (autumn) home Grin

Aquelven · 17/02/2014 16:03

That's a lovely jacket. MrsP Smile

OP posts:
Mumelie · 17/02/2014 16:09

Aque I only had the black/sandstone dress cancelled (someone saved me) and am hoping my parcel will arrive tomorrow Grin .
New shoes! - how exciting - bet your chuffed to bits finally being able to shop for boots? Good on you - the rest of your trip sounds fruitful too.

Lovely biker jacket MrsP. I have a similar Boden leather one, but am selling on eBay at the moment as it is just not the grey for me (I suit a lighter grey not the mid dove grey in our palette). Size 12 if anyone is interested Wink! I've also got a PU Oasis one in our navy which I love and cant wait for nicer weather to wear.

I'm stuck at home web/window shopping with horrendous wisdom tooth pain. I'm too old for them to be giving my hassle and it needs to come out - just putting off for as long as possible.

EustaciaVye · 17/02/2014 16:46

New shoes are a must if you havent been able to wear them for a while.

I do love that grey jacket. I like Esprit clothes too.

Aquelven · 17/02/2014 19:44

Mumelie poor you! Wisdom tooth pain is horrendous. I had one that had been troubling me for ages taken out last year, the relief was wonderful.

Well, someone at Boden must have sussed you were a Spring & decided you shouldn't have the dress Wink

OP posts:
Mumelie · 17/02/2014 21:36

Thanks Aque - think a trip to the dentist is in store for tomorrow Sad I think someone at Boden definitely knew I was a Spring and that dress wouldn't have been right. Old habits die hard though!

Mumelie · 18/02/2014 17:46

Ah all the Boden sale stuff was rubbish! No wonder it was so cheap - all going back. Skirt and trousers too small! Cardi was weird on - too floppy. Jumper was lovely but think more a Winter pink (although umming over this and may keep). The turquoise dress was nice but oh so creased, dont think it would wear well.
Disappointed Sad

Aquelven · 18/02/2014 18:40

Oh, what a shame, Mumelie now you have the bother of returning them Sad
How's your tooth today?

OP posts:
Mumelie · 18/02/2014 18:57

Much better thanks Aque - put off dentist anyway Grin.

Desperately trying to find something to wear out on Saturday evening to a friends 40th. I rarely go out out and its cold and wet so no idea what to put on! The party is in a hall with a disco and live band. It'll probably be skinnies heels and a naice blouse Confused

Aquelven · 18/02/2014 21:57

Glad the tooth's settled, toothache is miserable.
I rarely go out out either, especially in winter, think I must have hedgehog somewhere in my bloodline.
The outfit sounds good, more comfortable than a dress, well it would be for me Smile

OP posts:
Joycey29 · 19/02/2014 13:16

Mumelie - thought colour might be not quite our pink but still love it!
Feeling crap today - positive vibes this way!!Hmm

Aquelven · 19/02/2014 14:31

Oh, Joycey...so sorry. Lots of positive vibes from me & the mutts.

OP posts:
Mumelie · 19/02/2014 14:45

Positive vibes springing their way to you Joycey Thanks - hope you feel better soon.
I kept the pink jumper - its a bit Winter but fits really well and looks great with navy. Wearing it today and have almost been too warm.

Aquelven · 19/02/2014 14:56

I liked your jumper, Mumelie. There's quite a bright pink on our swatches & I love the HoC Spring Shocking Pink lipstick.

OP posts:
Joycey29 · 19/02/2014 21:53

Thanks everyone - feeling slightly better! Wink

Aquelven · 19/02/2014 23:31

Good Smile

BeginnerSAHM · 20/02/2014 13:24

Hi all - sorry to hear about the toothache Mumelie.... Glad it's settled. Joycey - positive vibes coming from me too!!

We-ellll, I just had a makeover at SpaceNK (by Laura Mercier make-up artist) - all v v natural and I really like it. Put a pinky/peachy/ nude lipstick on me, which I really liked... I'm still struggling with the 'bright' lippy thing. I just don't think it's 'me' even if it, technically, suits my colouring....Confused

BeginnerSAHM · 20/02/2014 13:25

Actually - just googled it and it's described as a 'sheer warm pink' so not toooooo bad for springs. Not bright at all though!

Flangeofmingetown · 20/02/2014 14:59

Frugal thank-you. Your posts have clarified a lot of questions I have had ref colour analysis.

You make perfect sense and I now understand why none of this stuff has sat right with me.

Joycey29 · 20/02/2014 20:53

Wore lippy today and it's not Tuesday!!
