BeGinner I love that top, I'm a massive mint velvet fan, just wish they'd do less sludgy colours. I buy lots from them already mind you so perhaps it's better if they don't do more springy stuff..

Love mint velvet too Gilly. Such a shame I 'can't' wear a lot of the colours. However, I am going to get the foundation colour knit (with silk button back) and maybe the grey sweatshirt with gold sparkly thread woven into it... ... At some point. They'll be on my Christmas list!!

I'm trying to add at least a scarf or necklace & put a coloured top under suits or cardigan over black tops or dresses. I don't always manage bright colours though, grey figures a lot in my outfits

Yes I wear a lot of grey too. I don't like bright colours (especially ones like coral) with black so don't tend to mix them.

I'm being wintery today in a black pencil skirt Black boots and a forest Green jumper. Felt rubbish and looked rubbish! Must make more of an effort tomorrow and bin the black!

Beginner we have similar taste! I have the foundation knit with the silk back, and the only reason I don't have the grey sweatshirt with gold thread is cos I bought something almost identical when I was in Florida in October

Been a bit awol with yet another bug! Bad this year.
Feeling a little better today and have been out to start my Christmas shopping this afternoon. Wearing my boden navy super skinnies, a cream next blouse and a boden purple Cardi, tan knee high boots and my big navy puffa coat. Also a mint Green scarf and a coral lippie (must be feeling better)

Liking the sound of your outfits Mumelie and joycey, aprilmay and beginner! Feeling a bit as they sound very together; I'm feeling a bit 'hedge through backwards' at present! Need a hair cut and some shopping success.

My Boden stuff came but all going back. Does anyone have good cardi tip offs? I tend to wear them with spring coloured patterned blouses but sometimes choosing a useful colour is a bit tricky and then shapes often letting me down. I have curly hair so wondering if I have to have some nat going on. How does that translate in cardis?!
I'm also 5'11'' and a 12 so lord knows where that places me with my other 'style aspect?!

Hair on hold as DH says he prefers it long. Don't bow to anyone normally but might be worth keeping the peace and the curls!

I'm out on my first Christmas do tonight. Wearing my navy H&M bargainous pencil dress with navy tights, bright blue pointy heels, bright blue clutch and lots of silver bling jewellery. Think I'll manage about an hour and I'll be home on the sofa .
