Help?!

Everything seems to look frumpy on my large boobs, unless it's tight and then I just look tarty!

Need some day tops for wearing under cardies and now terrified jumpers are going to look dreadful too.

I hate my J's Sad

I always wear baloney te but moulded look too big

PervCat · 19/10/2013 21:27

Lol at baloney. Moulded ones good for cold days ??

FoxyHarlow123 · 19/10/2013 21:28

Ove that dress and cashmere jumper. Some great clothes being recommended on here.

PervCat · 19/10/2013 21:29

all the young folk wear moulded I'm told. H commented on the sillouette. He never does normally.

noddyholder · 19/10/2013 21:39

I think men do notice that more than actual clothes plus if you get it right with a balcony (not baloney)clothes are transformed.

Snowlike · 19/10/2013 21:44

Moulded make you look smaller because the shape is better, I know it seems counterintuitive but you should at least give them a go.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/10/2013 21:45

I'll try on one. I do usually have balconette ones.

Scarletohello · 20/10/2013 03:14

Dd atelier have got some lovely dresses!

However I'm a bit confused by their sizing. I'm a 34 G and a size 14 on my bottom half. Has anyone worked out what their size would be by their measuring system ( and what mine might be? Crap at working things like this out..!)

CambridgeBlue · 20/10/2013 08:06

I absolutely love the dress evertonmint linked to but I would look so frumpy and matronly in that :(. I can't do any kind of blousiness on the top half especially puffed sleeves. Combined with lace and a Peter Pan collar I would look hideous which is a real shame as I love that style. Curse you 34FFs (not even that big judging by this thread but really hard to dress with).

Incidentally does anyone else get sick of lack of bra choice? Quite a few places now do DD+ ranges but even M&S don't stock my size let alone anywhere else. I get a bit fed up of only buying online.

Snowlike · 20/10/2013 08:11

I just don't buy pretty bras anymore they don't give me a good shape and I'd rather have my boobs looking fantastic with clothes on....dh keen on them with clothes off. Wink

PervCat · 20/10/2013 08:18

Agree. Lacy bras are at the bottom of the drawer. Plus h not interested in underwear

noddyholder · 20/10/2013 08:25

Per una bras give a great shape and lacy but I am underwear fanatic have loads. Like plain under fitted. And tshirts.

I saw various norksome women raving about this site, on twitter recently:

Hope link works, just learnt about how to link from my phone today!

Scarletohello · 20/10/2013 14:56

Yay it worked! :)

( still can't work out my bloody size tho..)

PervCat · 20/10/2013 16:01

Working titters. This jumper is great for smart trews. I got two first time round. bit.ly/15UxBiG
More flattering than a cardigan

evertonmint · 20/10/2013 22:08

Cambridgeblue - I would never go near that dress myself but DH thrust it at me when we were in JL. I tried it reluctantly but it looked amazing - my 34Hs looked anything but matronly. I was really surprised! It's the white bit down the middle I think - does something visually to break it all up. Really worth a try.

figrus · 20/10/2013 23:13

Getting some great ideas here. Thanks. Just ordered the fantasie bra

MmmmWhiteWine · 20/10/2013 23:57

Late to the party so apologies if these have been mentioned but knot front / twist front tops are the friend of the well endowed. I've yet to wear one that doesn't flatter.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/10/2013 18:14

I look huge in knot front ones - they draw far more attention than I want/need to my boobs and make me feel v uncomfortable.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 21/10/2013 18:30

Well,I've started by ordering some cowl neck tees, that's a starting point!Got jumpers and cardis on the way, just a shame most of the 'pretty' jumpers have a higher neckline :(

Now onto the God awful mission of a non ugly, non parka, waterproof coat that fits big boobs and doesn't make you look like a whale!

Thanks for starting this thread triptrap, I've got a few good ideas for tops to try.

PervCat · 21/10/2013 18:33

i look like pistol tits in cross overs

moosemama · 21/10/2013 18:39

TripTrap - let me know if you find that coat - I've been searching for one for years.

Cross over's don't suit me either. Partially because my right boob is about two sizes bigger than my left. Blush
