Help?!

Everything seems to look frumpy on my large boobs, unless it's tight and then I just look tarty!

Need some day tops for wearing under cardies and now terrified jumpers are going to look dreadful too.

I hate my J's Sad

Hattie had John Le Mesurier and a much younger lover. She didn't do so bad. Grin

ggirl · 19/10/2013 10:58

food spillages !
yes nightmare with big boobs

PervCat · 19/10/2013 11:04

but handy if you can pop a piece of cheese in your D cup

sassytheFIRST · 19/10/2013 11:05

I can get a whole Edam in my bra ...

AuntieMaggie · 19/10/2013 11:05

edam I used to get hassle like that when I was thinner too. Who the feck do they think they are to yell at us like that? :( When I started losing weight it happened once again and I remembered why it wasn't so great to be thin with big boobs :(

sassytheFIRST · 19/10/2013 11:06

Not the lovely mnetter, Edam obv. Tits aren't THAT big

PervCat · 19/10/2013 11:06

edams little head peeking out

noddyholder · 19/10/2013 11:25

Just remembered I bought a jumper in all saints which is very good for big boobs but very pricey so only if you are looking for something special. Tbh if it hadn't looked so good I probably wouldn't have spent that much on it

noddyholder · 19/10/2013 11:27

this That price is a mistake as I bought it about 4 weeks ago and it was 90. I think it is the cape sleeves that make it so flattering and the way it falls

AuntieMaggie · 19/10/2013 12:03

So what about tops that are around the £20 mark and jumpers for the winter?

I've bought some pencil skirts because I've had compliments on wearing them and think I look less frumpy in them than trousers for work, so need to try to match the top.

edam · 19/10/2013 12:03

Grin Sassy, I wondered why I was feeling smothered today...

Ooh this is my kind of thread! People who don't have big boobs have no idea how hard it is to find stuff that doesn't make u look tarty/ fat. I'm a 34 g and I've resigned myself to the fact that there's only certain things that will work for me. Scoop/ v neck teeshirts ( had some good ones from Primark and M&S), also balancing top half with long floaty skirts or straight leg trousers. I do find clothes shopping quite depressing sometimes as can go out for the day and literally find nothing that suits me! :(

< that's my excuse for having lots of shoes and pretty jewellry, they always fit..! >

And Pepperberry, what a bloody huge disappointment they have turned out to be! Overpriced, frumpy, how could they have got it SO WRONG..??!!

PervCat · 19/10/2013 12:55

For pencil skirts that boden cowl thing.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 19/10/2013 13:19

Ok,I have spent the day loving my boobs (well,I'm single, somebody has to... Wink ) and am ready for a big shopping spree in a week Grin

Will try some slash and boat necks aswell,I used to wear them so why not!

There is a problem with coats though. What do you think of this?m.asos.com/mt/www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-Popper-Skater-Coat/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2893634&cid=2641&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=50&sort=-1&clr=Navy

I don't care if I look different to the others on the school run!

Could do with something for the horribly wet days too but that's a giant task!

Link didn't work!

Or would I look like a doll with my curly hair in that coat?

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 19/10/2013 14:21

I think I look quite good in polo necks Confused

But then, even though I have quite a big bust (I think about 28GG, my fitting was a bit out) I don't really get the mono-boob look quadra-boob, yes my boobs are quite separate.

I can't really wear loose T-shirts/jumpers though, they hang straight off the ends of my boobs and don't touch the rest of me on the way down! They make me look square as well if I'm not careful.

I think if you can find a nice fitting white blouse that's always good. Not always easy though!

Snowlike · 19/10/2013 14:28

This bra makes a huge difference to the shape of my norks - can't explain it, but they look shapely instead of frumpy so my clothes look better on as well!

Btw - I don't like people commenting on my boobs - think it's v rude....I don't like having big boobs but I have no choice.

edam · 19/10/2013 14:44

Snow, that bra looks like it doesn't quite fit the model - she's got a little bulge over the top. I'd worry that it'd have the same effect on me!

INeedSomeHelp · 19/10/2013 14:46

Figleaves have some clothes for DD+ sizes. Haven't tried anything (34FF here) so no idea on quality etc but might be worth a look.

evertonmint · 19/10/2013 14:47

The other thing that works is a deep V with a higher neck underneath. If you're worried about too much cleavage on display, wear a slightly higher vest top or something similar to cover you up and then layer a deep v top over. It gives the visual allusion that a v top does so stops mono-boob but gives you more coverage. Sort of like this
