decam good to hear that the Aigle Cuckmere is good quality. I really want to try it on now and see if it suits me.

mary I like the sound of your colour combination. And I also like the nn Owly!

mig I hope you had a lovely lunch!

I haven't used that specific Mustela product but it seems like it's for very sensitive skin so it should be ok for your DN.

umlauf welcome!

foxy glad you are feeling better! And lol about the boots.

Sleepwhenidie · 24/08/2013 20:53

Hello all!

Glad the MU was good and your black conclusion was positive Shop Smile, also good you are feeling better Foxy.

Welcome Umlaut!

Thanks so much for the French pharmacy recommendations Mig and Linus. I knew I could rely on you Thanks.

Shop, another sweater suggestion?

Sleepwhenidie · 24/08/2013 20:56

Sorry -Umlauf!

Also, I was lol about Mig's comment re cows being waterproof Grin!

QueenCadbury · 24/08/2013 21:03

Hello all! Back home now with a mountain of washing to do. Just enjoying being post holiday and therefore pissed on Chablis again this evening and having cuddles with the cats.

Glad the MU went well but hope the oct one isn't so tame Grin.

carrie totally understand where you're coming from. Every so often I look up my first love from uni on FB although I haven't messages him for years. dry your story is very funny. My other ex a complete controlling, jealous wanker contacted me after years apart (why had he kept my phone number Hmm) to tell me he was going through a divorce and apologise for his behaviour whilst we were together. By then I was married and had jut had dd1.

Determined to go shopping tomorrow so will report back then. I've decided tht the spending ban is over although I still need to be careful not to spend too much prior to London trip.

MarshaBrady · 24/08/2013 21:14

Sure it won't be! I had so much prosecco last time and the one before, I had to do one social thing without it, just to show you know I could. I'll be back on form for next one.

I wore MiH Paris

Sandro jumper.

and Lanvin black suede wedges.

Liberty looked very pretty in a scarf and a top, what top?, my mind!

MrsR very cool in white boots and a t, and print trouser, is that right?

And Shop proved black made her looked great. And actually I thinks it's the eyes.

Ok coats, hang on a mo...

Drywhiteplease · 24/08/2013 21:17

Nice Shop . QueenC you're sweet cuddling your cats.
Sleep you in s France now?

shopafrolic · 24/08/2013 21:20

Welcome back QueenC
The Sandro was fab Marsha did I spy some neon underneath?

OP posts:
QueenCadbury · 24/08/2013 21:21

Actually dry they're ignoring me and enjoying cuddles with dh and dd1!

Forgot to say hello to mary and umlauf

MarshaBrady · 24/08/2013 21:23

MrsR I tried on the Marant Etoile one in Matches. But I've had a realisation now. It's not a coat! It's a knit and it looks awful for some reason on the model! She looks a bit bunched. I liked it more than that, but might need a second opinion.

Then I found a very classic peacoat. Then I thought hang on Burberry! So am doing another scout this weekend to check on Burberry situation.

I also tried on pistols, Sam Edelman boots, Lanvin knee high wedges and Chloe something. I am trying to narrow everything down before buying.

Foxy glad you have the boots with you, good call I say.

Dry that is very funny.

MarshaBrady · 24/08/2013 21:24

Just the Hobbs top Shop. I had to do a massive wash today and there wasn't much else!

mignonette · 24/08/2013 21:27

Quick hi to all and will post more tomorrow but can barely keep eyes open.

Did anybody see The Times Saturday magazine photographs of Yasmin Le Bon? Thought they were very unflattering photographs of a very beautiful woman.

Glad the MU went well.

Hi to Umlauf.

Night night.

Sleepwhenidie · 24/08/2013 21:33

Hi Dry, yes, now in Vence, villa is heavenly. Don't think we will be leaving it much Smile. DH just getting kids to bed, I might see if he's up for a skinny dip in the (heated) pool before bed Wink.

Drywhiteplease · 24/08/2013 22:29

Oooh you devil sleep! Hope there aren't any mozzies!

libertychick · 24/08/2013 22:49

Shop you looked very chic in your black and the bag is gorgeous - I got a good look at it as we walked up the stairs!
Marsha looked amazing in her Sandro knit and MrsR was v funky in white boots and a neon necklace.
I wore (from the bottom up!) grey leather converse, envy jeans, the grey version of this Cos silk T, a blue and red Gap scarf which isn't on their website and my ancient and slightly battered looking Next Navy linen blazer with 3/4 sleeves.

MrsR I only have one pair of leather soled shoes and I did get a rubber sole put over them - mostly because I am mega clumsy and kept slipping in them. Cost less than £10 and makes them non slip as well as waterproof.
Dry your stories are hilarious!! Cannot wait to meet you. The born again ex is a classic! I was dumped by my first proper boyfriend as he decided to become a priest Grin
Welcome Umlauf - great FCUK coat ? fingers crossed it works post CB Smile
Marsha I love, love, love that Marant coatigan ? it?s on my lust list

MaryTheOwl · 24/08/2013 23:04

This thread moves fast! Thanks again or the welcome, and the lovely links.

I have been idly wishing money away today and I want this dress:

Nice dress

And I love this coat:

Such a beautiful colour

Ah well, one day I'll have more to spend!

MaryTheOwl · 24/08/2013 23:07

And call me whatever you like!

Within reason, obviously.

libertychick · 24/08/2013 23:11

OK then Owly Smile
The Goat coat is fabulous - so chic.

BrandyAlexander · 25/08/2013 07:03

Morning! It's 7am. Ds is still asleep. This has never happened.

LinusDKD · 25/08/2013 07:11

Morning!

novice I have the same reaction whenever DS sleeps past 6.30!

Must be the magic CP air. Wink

AmberNectarine · 25/08/2013 08:24

Long shop - the little blighters fought constantly. He's working again today so I'm taking them to the cinema. I may treat myself to something nice in Gap as a thanks from DH (so it won't count against the ban).

Glad you had a good mini-MU. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of Marsha's coat/boat debate in October.

So over the dismal weather, I don't mind the cooking down, but I want it to be dry. Can't be risking my array of suede footwear in this nonsense. Hope you're not drowning at CP. novice - don't think I've ever been where it hasn't been torrential rain!
