That is the Burberry coat I like, Novice. It irks me that it's not pure wool though.

BrandyAlexander · 01/09/2013 12:12

I like that Marsha, and I say that as someone who is pathologically determined to dislike anything StellaGrin I can see why you're bored though after 2 seasons. I am trying to remember what I wore that long dark winter. Coats are the one thing that never get decluttered unless they fall apart. I still wear the coat I bought my first winter at work. It is almost 20 years old, has been worn every winter. Not so much these days, but still looks good. It was £300 back then. A third of my net pay. In hindsight it was nuts as i was sooooo broke but the cpw practically makes it free!

BrandyAlexander · 01/09/2013 12:15

Decam, I know it's a bit of a piss take at thst price but sooooo pretty!

MarshaBrady · 01/09/2013 12:26

I want to try one like that but in navy. How hard can it be, all they do is coats! And shoes oh and clothes.

That is practically free Novice. Grin

QueenCadbury · 01/09/2013 13:12

Has anyone seen the ST style section? There's an article about bags.

shopafrolic · 01/09/2013 14:07

Happy Brrthday Mom
Marsha There was a navy peacoat by Vince on the The Outnet the other day - but a large so didn't link for you but might be worth Googling to see if available elsewhere?

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 01/09/2013 14:18

That does sound good Shop. I don't suppose you have a link? Looking at Vince on there, think I missed it.

Drywhiteplease · 01/09/2013 17:55

I'm off for 24 hrs and 5 pages! Shock

Evening in shed with13 was great in the end .... V chilled and I bought an amazing butterflied shoulder of lamb which was delicious on the BBQ .....also taught DS to make crème pâtissière for little fruit tartlets....yum! 16 in two weeks time......Shock

Shop new Mac Book is v exciting.....I'm sure DH will forget about the old one Wink
Grumpy I'm in awe of anyone who drives a horse box...impossible!
Novice impressive decluttering I love a big trip to the tip and was hyperventilating when we had a skip does your house seem huge now? Bit like the book by Gruffalo author "A Squash and a Squeeze". Sorry to hear about CP holiday.
Foxy there's nothing wrong with enthusiasm about purchases remember I sleep with new shoes/bags next to my bed so I can gaze at them!
Marsha I enjoyed the live shopping. Photos and live shopping.....this thread gets better and better.

Mom happy birthday!

Well, I'm getting London overdose....after booking my ticket for MU and realising that I really don't live at the end of the earth, I've booked to do some hard core shopping with a friend in November too! Smile.... Can't wait, do need a fix from time to time and now my kids are teens I'm getting a lot more freedom which is great.

Finally my dream house is a barn conversion.....love the big spaces, wood, big windows....don't love the countryside so it would have to be an urban barn Grin... That or a Jane Austen style Georgian red brick house with sash windows and Colin sitting in the parlour

OneLittleLady · 01/09/2013 18:18

yay, you're coming to the MU too dry you can tell me off in person now Wink

I'm shattered, my sister rang me at half three this morning needing somewhere to sleep as her housemate had accidentally left her key in the door so my sister couldn't get in so I had to get up and wait for her to get here and sort out pjs and blankets for her to sleep in. I've therefore had a very lazy day doing absolutely nothing

MarshaBrady · 01/09/2013 18:22

Dry sounds fabulous. Can't wait to the MU will be fun.

Shop sorry I just re-read your post, it was the other day, definitely won't be there now!

I like the look of the Gap printed slippers in the ST Style but I can't find them on line. Wonder if they are in store.

OneLittleLady · 01/09/2013 19:00

Have ordered these Love a bit of leopard print Grin

LinusDKD · 01/09/2013 19:11

dry very Envy you get to go to London twice! Especially to go to a MU!

novice that lace dress and the Burberry coat are gorgeous. And Flowers for the dissapointing holiday. I think DH was happy to go back to the office after our holiday, even though he loves spending time with DC.

DBIL has left (only stayed one night) but now I have to get everything ready for DS and her family who are coming to stay for five days on Tuesday. Oh and DM and DF are arriving on Thursday evening as well so it will be a full house.

Lots of Wine will be needed to get through it all (and excuses to get some time to myself post on MNV )

santamarianovella · 01/09/2013 19:23

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 01/09/2013 19:54

shopafrolic · 01/09/2013 19:55

Vince.com have it in black and Mulberry. Might be worth an email to their customer service too? Looks as though they do international shipping.....

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 01/09/2013 19:56

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 01/09/2013 20:00

I have thought of a brilliant christmas present for Dp. It's the vinyl album with the song that was playing when we first met. Want to buy the vinyl then get a frame for it as he loves framed prints and vinyls on the wall. I bet he won't remember it was playing though Grin

LinusDKD · 01/09/2013 20:06

Don't get too excited shop! I'm sure I won't live up to any expectations you might have.

What a lovely present one!
