Congratulations MrsR! Sultry winter sounds fabulous. What are your main colours.

Burberry is annoying. Two coats I want to try so far not in stock. A massive four floor store. Irritating!

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 12:59

And phew glad it was the Sam Edelman! Grin

MrsRadicchio · 31/08/2013 13:05

Fuschia, purples, indigo, cobalt blue. Don't have much of that in my wardrobe, its all quite muted. Though also includes black, white and greys.

Annoying about Burberry.

Linus what jeans did you get? Good discount, can you report back?

Great shoes foxy glad you still like the vejas!

AmberNectarine · 31/08/2013 13:06

I'm a sultry winter MrsR - welcome to the club.

carrie74 · 31/08/2013 13:08

Yes definitely the Edelmans Marsha! Lovely boots.

mrsR that was quick. Keep thinking about getting mine done. Hopefully lives near my parents and I keep looking at her dates and pondering.

Thinking of wearing the Fur gilet tonight: round to friends for informal supper, starting off outside (so will start chilly). Not sure how to style though...

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 13:21

Nice one on the boots Marsha.
Great news about colours MrsR I'm jealous
In other news, DH just bought me a MacBook Air to replace my ancient MacBook, am beyong excited!!

DD has gone to see new One D film wearing one of my tops Shock...... Is this the beginning of the end? Sad

Marsha was going to say the S E putty ones.

Umlauf · 31/08/2013 14:05

foxysocks · 31/08/2013 14:39

LOVE those marsha. great buy.

good news on the winter diagnosis MrsR, I think that means black is ok? I think i am a winter too tbh. yep I LOVE the vejas. think they would be great with my new drapey cos dress actually (which I'm wearing today for the fourth time having only bought it on ?tuesday)

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 14:46

Hi everyone! If anyone would like a Baylis & Harding Perfect pamper kit and a REN mini taster pack (small tubes of day cream, cleansing gel and night cream) please pm me and i am happy to send to you.

Hope you're all having good Saturdays.

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 14:47

Mrs R,winter is the season to be Wink

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 15:06

Thanks everyone! I feel like Foxy I love them. Have them on now and pretty much the comfiest boot I've bought. Love the putty colour too.

Novice I do wonder if there is a higher percentage of winters on here Grin sultry sounds great I've got to say.

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 15:08

Well with Mrs R's swishy gorgeous hair, I am not surprised she's sultryGrin now you may not be a sultry winter but if there were seasons for legs up to here ^ you would be in a season of your own GrinEnvy

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 15:09

Feel like Foxy does about the Cos and the F&B, that should be!

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 15:10

Haha Novice!

OneLittleLady · 31/08/2013 15:14

Not sure if I look too christmasy today in burgundy and green....don't care anyway, I wear what I want Grin

Anyone know the best place to get boots for HUGE calves? I need some winter boots but standard fitting don't fit my legs Sad

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 15:20

Novice - Ps not surprised you're winter. That gorgeous bright print dress looked fab at last mu.

Not sure One. Duo?

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 15:59

Thanks Marsha. I have tried really hard this year to come out of my muted comfort zone and bring bright colours and prints into the wardrobe. I got it horribly wrong in my 20s so retreated in my 30s to safer colours. Now will see if I can get it right this coming season!

santamarianovella · 31/08/2013 16:15

marsha good choice,they look awesome!

mrsR congrats on being sultryGrin, great colors,

umlauf it did fit eventually! but trying on high heels 5 days post c-section is a bad bad idea.if you did not gain a lot of weight then you should be able to get back into your pre pregnancy shoes in a couple of weeks time.

one sorry,i have no idea.

Drywhiteplease · 31/08/2013 16:49

A very unsuccessful trip to R and B ....tried both styles on, neither were perfect. Sad the work shoe hunt continues.......not a huge prob though as the mild weather is set to continue and it's only the beginning of the season, and I've saved myself £185 Smile
Guests tonight......not really in the mood, but maybe that's what a week off booze does for you Grin.........
Shop popped into my local Grace Bros and checked out that Chanel colour....v nice. My favourite is Particuliere from a couple of summers ago.
Stocked up on Touch Éclat !

OneLittleLady · 31/08/2013 18:43

I have achieved the impossible and got ALL the clothes my sister borrowed back! It's like having a whole new wardrobe to discover as some of the items haven't been seen by me in over six months!

Umlauf · 31/08/2013 18:58

Thanks santa! I have gained a horrible amount of weight but am under no illusions about the work I will have to do to get back into shape so hopefully I'll be back to normal feet size fairly soon, and back to normal size by.... Christmas? Valentine's? hmmm. If my feet are a little bigger, I hear the Spirals come up generously? Is this just wishful thinking?! I'm being relatively careful and only buying jumpers/accessories at the moment but I couldn't resist the bargain!

The Edelmans were definitely the right choice marsha and in the colour you went for :-)

I'm jealous of all you winters for being able to wear black (ie. monochrome!) I'm an autumn, brown and cream doesn't quite carry the same drama...

one my Mum has the calf problem and she buys most of her boots at Russell and Bromley or Ecco. The Duo ones are always too baggy on her ankles. I have had the opposite problem, fitted boots always look like wellies on me, so I'm embracing the ankle boot!

OneLittleLady · 31/08/2013 19:09

I may go for ankle boots to be honest Umlauf I am between Duo's sizes so they'd either be loose or too tight so I think looking for some decent ankle boots would probably be a more fruitful search

LinusDKD · 31/08/2013 19:18

Quick post as we have DBIL staying over.

MrsR well done on being a winter! I think I'm a winter too but definitely not a sultry one. Wink

I forgot who wanted to know which jeans I orderd yesterday but they were the white Topshop Baxters. They were 20 ? so I think £16.

Will try and catch up later.

McNally · 31/08/2013 19:35

Lovely boots Marsha. They look fab.

Those sultry winter colours sound a lot like my wardrobe MrsR. I suspect I'm not a winter though, let alone a sultry one!

Think it is nice to pick up a few things for post pregnancy Umlauf even if it might take a while to fit into them. Seems a shame to miss out on good stuff, esp bargainous ones.
