Oh no way Foxy I love shopping enthusiasm! It's the best kind.

And I am finally close to being able to stock wardrobe do will be joint you in the ! and love this Grin

I love that little yip and spring, I remember my first all those years ago.

Annianni · 31/08/2013 20:50

Loads to catch up on.

Another floor sanded thank god
Painting the floor tomorrow and patching up where a large small chunk of the bay ceiling fell down, after I made dh remove the dodgy looking wallpaper... whoops! :o

Love the boots Marsha.
I've nearly bought those a couple of times from Shopbop.
They had them for £60 ish in the last sale, in a lovely navy suede.

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 20:50

I've only ever been to the Uniqlo in Kensington so can't compare Foxy but it seemed well stocked....... I love hearing when people get something that's just right. This thread helps me to feel that a lot more often than I used to.

Anni £60! Will keep an eye out for sales ones. Good work on sanding.

Annianni · 31/08/2013 20:53

Great news on your colours MrsR.
I wish I was sultry... :o

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 20:53

DIY drama Anni I dread what lurks behind our wallpaper in our listed house......... Next room will have to be stripped soon so we'll soon find out!

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 20:54

I know Anni! Stamps feet - I want to be a sultry winter not an Autumn.....

I managed to grab my denim jacket back from my sister amongst the rest of the returned clothing. Soooo glad to have it back as I don't have many jackets for casual wear. I was, once, considering dying it purple but chickened out thinking it would look too childish and I'd be better off sticking to blue Grin

Annianni · 31/08/2013 21:06

Listed houses scare me Shop :o
I couldn't cope with not being able to do what I wanted.

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 21:07

Lying on dd's floor while she works out if she's sleeping tonightHmm but I have just seen this Pucci lace detail knitted dress and love it. Right after I actually wear the lace dresses I bought last a/w, I will get this one.Grin

It's been a long day spent decluttering our house. How we managed to make a 5 bedroom house seem small has to be a modern day miracle. I have managed 4 bedrooms and the kitchen breakfast room. Am knackered.... Pleeeease dd go to sleep!

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 21:09

I just had to walk out of ds' room. As I tipped over his cup of milk and I felt too cross to stay! Dh has tag teamed. (and yes very late, but end of the holidays, back to normal soon I hope).

That is stunning Novice, really very lovely.

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 21:10

Scares me too Anni Grin
Our listing is more to the front of our property. It is a 250 year + coaching inn. All our work has been decorating rather than structural but there are patches of damp and always something to have to repair. I love our home but I am tempted by something more modern next time. My dream is a Grand Designs style build, all glass sliding doors out into the garden - and Sleeps 's kitchen!

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 21:16

Gorgeous novice

Annianni · 31/08/2013 21:16

Yep... I'd like one of those Shop
Or maybe a castle in Scotland...

Annianni · 31/08/2013 21:23

Lovely dress Novice, would look fab with your cage sandals.

MarshaBrady · 31/08/2013 21:23

I just re-read my post to Foxy, it hardly makes sense. I was in the dark at the time. Grin I haven't even had Wine.

Sleep did some good advertising with that lovely kitchen link. Hope the journey back is going ok.

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 21:25

Shop, we will be flogging our house soon. Sounds right up your street. Modern, bifold doors that open out the whole back of the house into the garden and a nice kitchen.Wink

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 21:27

Ooh hadn't thought of that combo Anni!!

I also love this maxmara jersey dress for its simplicity. For some reason, they don't do it in an xs. Pity.

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 21:31

I can't even afford a pair of Pistols Novice let alone your house! Grin

OP posts:
BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 21:34

Well at least I tried! Grin

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 21:38

True! Are you back from holidays now?

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 31/08/2013 21:40

Once we sell the flat we are in now, DP and I will be moving to a 1950's flat that is family owned and technically actually DP's. He says there's very few original features left which I'm gutted about but the windows remain which is nice. Just got to get the current flat into a sellable condition and hope someone buys it [fingers crossed]

BrandyAlexander · 31/08/2013 21:45

Yes got back last night. 5 loads of washing done and now about to iron as my ironing lady on hols this week. CP was okay. Dcs really enjoyed it. It was hard work though and dh and I got v snappy with each other. Not fun. He's absolutely fine now we're home but he was not fun to be around the last couple of days and I was caught between pissed off and upset. The dcs have gone back to not settling themselves and didn't sleep well last night. 3 disturbances from each child. The planets never align do they?!

shopafrolic · 31/08/2013 21:58

Oh Novice what a shame. I was hoping to hear you more chilled than that. Sending you Wine and hugs x

Annianni · 31/08/2013 22:13
