Can't you come and see the MNV mummies instead Carrie?

mignonette · 22/08/2013 22:03

Smile at Shop. seems quite a Bristol contingent on this thread or am I mistaken? Leeds lot too.

Topazandpearl · 22/08/2013 22:13

Been busy now I am back at work, so less time for reading and posting.

I am happy with the M&S leopard flats but ones described as black and white were definitely brown and cream, so back they went.

Shop thanks for the M Kors boucle jacket link, I have ordered it. Looks perfect for work, as you said.

Mig well done to your DD, she must be very talented.

One glad you are going to the MU.

Waves to everyone else x

shopafrolic · 22/08/2013 22:23

Morning. I've been up an an hour and a quarter with the little one hilts everyone else is still blissfully asleep Hmm. Once dh surfaces I may go on a nice long bike ride I need to after the amount of food I've consumed this week.

novice have a fab time in CP. I'm ridiculously excited as dh has booked us in for our anniversary weekend later in the year. So looking forward to doing the rapids together!

carrie no idea if anyone stocks the aigle in bristol. Does it have a list of stockists on their website?

BrandyAlexander · 23/08/2013 07:29

Morning QueenC, we had an early start too. You're still on hols right?

Is your anniversary weekend before or after your birthday? (Thinking dresses here!Grin)

I am excited too. I am waiting for the estate agent to open then we will call and make the offer. Hopefully get it accepted before we set off and I will probably be instructing people in the car!

QueenCadbury · 23/08/2013 07:38

Anniversary is after birthday. Not sure I'll need a smart dress/ jumpsuit for centre parts though Grin.

Dh was horrified when I told him that I was considering a jumpsuit. He thinks they're for old ladies Grin.

Yes, still on holiday. Go home tomorrow Sad

BrandyAlexander · 23/08/2013 07:59

No way is that jumpsuit for old ladies!Shock It's ruddy gorgeous. Curse my short legs!

carrie74 · 23/08/2013 08:23

Old ladies has he seen the jumpsuit?!?

shop great idea, when is the October one? At a wedding tomorrow, otherwise I'd be there Smile.

When I try to find Aigle UK stockists, I just get online (which isn't nec a bad thing: it's where the best deals will be had).

QueenC have a fantastic last day.

novice enjoy CP. I'm trying to break H in gently to the idea of our nipping down to Longleat for an autumn break, but now's not the time, he's totally stressed at work (one of his team is suicidal, and H is having to work out how to handle it. Awful).

QueenCadbury · 23/08/2013 08:37

carrie that sounds awful. mig can probably offer some good advice as she's a psych nurse.

Bless my dh, he really doesn't have a clue about fashion!

shopafrolic · 23/08/2013 08:44

Woken up this morning by DS singing the hokey cokey. Can someone PLEASE buy the bargainous Equipment shirt that Amber has blogged about. It's completely stunning IRL but the wrong colour on me. And with the extra discount........

OP posts:
foxysocks · 23/08/2013 08:56

oh I love that shirt!!

it's my size too.

but I have no money left till october after the boots of loveliness. ARGH.

foxysocks · 23/08/2013 08:57

carrie no idea about aigle. can you google to find a list of stockists? or come to london tomorrow!

LinusDKD · 23/08/2013 09:01

shop wrong colour on me too, damn it!

DS was kind enough to wake me up at 2.30 and tell me he wanted to sleep in my bed. I gave him a kiss and a cuddle and told him very firmly that was not going to happen.

It took me ages to fall asleep again and then DS woke me up at 6.15 Angry

Good luck today novice

DD has her third settling in session this afternoon and I have to leave her alone at nursery for an hour. One hour in which I can have a hot drink and read a magazine/MNV uninterrupted. Lovely!

If I can stay awake that is.
.

McNally · 23/08/2013 09:03

Oooh, good luck today novice! Have fingers crossed your offer gets accepted quickly. Found the negotiation process soooo stressful (being pregnant probably didn't do me any favours) but you sound very calm about it!

Dressing Room has some great stuff still on sale. Was very tempted by the scarf Amber highlighted but really don't need another. Still considering...

shopafrolic · 23/08/2013 09:06

We have a singer living next door to us (I think she got somewhere on X Factor) and she knows some of the boys from Union J is it? No idea. Anyway- she's practicing for a gig. For some reason DS was still asleep at 8am this morning and I was having one of my first ever lie ins for 2.5 years. Then, click goes her amp, the guitar goes off and she starts singing. She has a great voice, but not at 8am, and not when I was having a bit of extra snooze. That woke DS up - cue the hokey cokey - quite cute really.
Stay awake Linus that coffee will taste amazing. I'm sure she'll be fine.
Foxy Buy it, buy it, you got a discount on the boots remember

MrsRadicchio · 23/08/2013 10:49

QueenC how about that red blazer on the dressing room website for you - winter colour? I know that you are not keen on blazers but this is a jersey one.

QueenCadbury · 23/08/2013 13:05

mrsR great minds! I did look at it as it's a bargainous price but red can be tricky to get right and I'd have to order a couple of sizes and can't be arsed with returns. I'm definitely going to try a jersey blazer at some point although can't decide whether to go for colour or neutral. When do you get your colours done? Must be very soon?

I have a HUGE urge to go shopping. I really hope that sil will take me to Westfield next week but I bet she doesn't as she hates shopping Shock. I may have to get my fix and go on Sunday! Online isn't the same for me. I actually like to go and browse properly and try stuff on. My sainsburys £10 ballet flats from last year have just died this morning. I don't wear them often but they are a good transition between converse and sandals. They are a pewter/mink colour so go with everything so I'd like some in a similar colour again.
