A coat for shop

Yes, we can do the MU here but maybe when DH is traveling so he doesn't notice the strange women spending the night in our house. Wink

shopafrolic · 22/08/2013 20:04

Lovely coat Linus I really like how the pockets run round the back (on the video clip). Shame it's a small or XS. Flowers
As I said to Novice I can be quiet as a mouse! :)

QueenC I love the sun too, I'm a natural white/blue skinned lady, I go an interesting pinky/orange....Grin

Seriously though Novice knew it was meant to be!

shopafrolic · 22/08/2013 20:28

When I was 18 I was refused entry to a beach in Kos by the sunbed sellers because my skin was "translucent". I've hardened off a bit over the years thank God Grin

shopafrolic · 22/08/2013 20:29

Drywhiteplease · 22/08/2013 20:33

I bet Novice is thinking phew at not linking now. All those voguettes on the lawn as she gets home. Grin

mignonette · 22/08/2013 21:18

Good evening all - Queen you do sound so very happy in your holiday posts. Very glad you have had a good time.

Dry...I have one of those 'Moderator' internal dialogues too. Damn annoying it is but oh so necessary. Have suggested to DH that the clutch is my only Christmas gift from him. I'm really not a present person and tend to try to persuade people not to bother so it is a departure for me to actually express a want.

Linus The CO link was a bit of self indulgent fun, kind of 'if I was super rich'. Even though I like to imagine myself asbeing the kind of billionaire who still wouldn't waste money on ridiculous stuff like growing-out-of-quickly kids shoes.

I have made a 'Check' Pinterest board as a bit of fun if anybody is interested in having a look.

One I hope RI have those pants. Will look in my nearest branch to see if they have them. Could ask them to send to your store? I might be in Leeds in October some time if there are any nearby MNers? Hopefully I will be able to make a London one soon seeing as I work there! Seems to clash w/ work/being away each time sadly. Glad to hear you are going One.

Amber Am still grinning at your wry 'Petrochemicals are so ethical' comment. It was an excellent riposte to my ?possibly pompous witterings about fur! Will remember that retort...

I 'accidentally' wandered onto the La Perla website earlier via a Romy & The Bunnies' link. Tres Tres £££ but oh the work on those pieces. I love lingerie. I remember going into a very chic Parisien lingerie store that all the Supers said they used in the 90's.All jewel coloured silk, satin and lace slips, nightgowns, soft cup bras. . It was called Sabbia Rosa and was near Boulevard Saint Germain. Don't think it is there anymore but the owner thought nothing of manhandling one's breasts and jiggling them about to assess their size and shape.

Drywhiteplease · 22/08/2013 21:18

Yes...sleeps 3 Shop rest of you on floor in family room, 2 can snuggle up in guest room double bed !

Drywhiteplease · 22/08/2013 21:19

Mig I'd have asked for it for Xmas too but considering recent gift, seemed a bit cheeky!

BrandyAlexander · 22/08/2013 21:21

You are all so fabulously funny!

We went to see the house again. I am back in love with it.Smile The estate agent has indicated that they will be prepared to come down to dh's number. So tomorrow morning we will formally put in the second offer. If by the October MU we have bought, I will be fabulously in debt and glugging the wine!Grin

shopafrolic · 22/08/2013 21:22

I'm bringing wine and marshmallows Dry

MarshaBrady · 22/08/2013 21:26

BrandyAlexander · 22/08/2013 21:30

Thanks ladies! The ridiculous bit is we are making the offer, then literally going away so will probably be talking to the bank with wheels on the bus going round.

I am all packed for center Parcs chicGrin

BrandyAlexander · 22/08/2013 21:30

Sorry that should be wheels on the bus going round in the car in the background!

carrie74 · 22/08/2013 21:34

Ooh, exciting, Novice [ little squeal ].

I'd like to try the Aigle in the flesh too, but no idea where stocks it locally (Bristol/Bath). Queen C or foxy any ideas? Or maybe a trip to London required (I'm ready for another trip actually, and DD wants to go up to see the Mummies at the British Museum (and Hamleys).
