Beachy, glad to hear your experience of the NHS was more positive than mine from last w/e and I wish your dad a speedy recovery. It does indeed seem the best thing not to tell your sibs, as things have quietened down again.
Crem, I'm very sorry to hear your dh has had a relapse. Hope he feels better again very soon.
Looks like dd will have to stay in France until the end of the month, as I had to take the dog for an unplanned and expensive vet trip today. He has a golf-ball-sized cyst that has finally decided to start to ooze and therefore requires removal. It could have waited until next month.. I can't now really afford to go to St Malo to pick dd up, so she will have to stay camping in France until the other family come home. She is currently in Montpellier and having a whale of a time as the family she is with have met up with another big family from our town and they are now a gang of 3 teens and have even more freedom.
I am not
at all of loafing in a bikini in the South of France, oh no.
We had cheery news from the NHS this week: dh's latest blood test results are showing the kind of levels they would expect on average 4 years down the line from the op he had to treat his prostate cancer - after just one year. Things are looking as good as they possibly could do and he is now on 6-monthly reviews rather than 3-monthly.
