Day 100

So what have you done and what are you planning to do?

I've started on the water. I had planned to weigh myself but forgot (great start) in addition to everything else on my list I'm going to paint my nails later.

I bought the new elvive hair oil for Dds hair but will start using it myself. I had acrylic nails done 2 weeks ago but they're looking a bit tatty so must remember to get them filled on Tuesday. Was loathe to get them but just don't have time in morning to paint my nails and they are so stained from constant nail polish use that I can't go au natural.

I've had an ok day today. Did all the beauty stuff this morning but some of the other bits... Not so good! No exercise today and have eaten some chocolate.
Monday morning though and I will be giving it 100%, especially as I'll be weighing in with my fitness conscious friend on Friday, and don't want to feel like a wobbly blob. Can I use the "I've just had a baby" excuse nearly 4 months after?!

paint I HAVE stayed away from the Aero today! So that's a positive!

pixie personally I think short nails look great. I'm not sure HOW short but I think dark colours look great on short nails. And if you want you can still look after your cuticles and use nail buffers and so on.

Had an accident with one of my nails so took the colour off that one nail and redid it in gold. So 9 deep red nails and one index fingernail in gold. Might recreate at Christmas but do all fingernails red and thumbs gold.

Ok so i may be day late and a bit fuzzy from a day in the beer garden but i'm up for this as well.

All these things are forever on my to do list - but I will give it a proper crack this time. Starting tomorrow of course :)

Every day shredding is a bit daunting and undoable imo - i may try for 3 times a week. Reckon that will work!?

Anyhew - here goes!

I shred three times a week and I'm really seeing the difference. I have a waist! I haven't had one of those since I got pregnant 3 years ago, so that's nice. I also have muscles in my legs- who knew?

Anyone got any tips for getting rid of nasty yellow staining caused by nail varnish. Would like to get rid of my acrylics but my own nails are badly stained.

Can I join? Been away for weekend and only just seen the thread.
Am definitely in need of this thread and really like the idea of having deadline. I have a spare copy of shred am happy to give to someone if you PM me. Most of I think I am looking forward to the early nights!

Yay- nearly done! Just have to drink 3 more glasses of water and I have managed my list today. It's been really tough though, especially as I need to do a food shop and most of the fruit and veg left in the fridge look a bit sad.

Mother I have heard that if you take the polish off and rub a wedge of lemon over your nails this will tackle the yellow staining- supposedly because the lemon is mildly acidic it will lift the staining off.

mother I know Barbara daly for Tesco does a nail varnish for yellow stained nails. Its clear and is colour correcting.

Ooh why have I not spotted that before? Might just get my nails taken off on Tuesday instead of filled and give it a go.

Princessing is going well today. Not a single flour/sugar based food has passed my lips. Managed to have lots of veg, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, courgette. Eaten really well, drank loads of water, I've exfoliated and removed every stray hair from my entire body. I'm very lazy and just used a tube of nair and rinsed it off in the shower. I have a mild fear of razors and there is No Way I'm going to bare my fat behind to a beautician for a wax. Currently sat here trying not to dribble as I have my teeth whitening stuff in with the UV light.

I now need to psyche myself up to do the shred before bed.

Welcome don'tstopbelieving Thank you paint for the nail tips. I will go and get some of that Rimmel stuff tomorrow evening. I do have seche vite but I think it makes my nails peel more.

MotherOfNations · 16/09/2012 22:05

Thanks for your suggestion also paintyourbox. I think that would be quoted drying. My nails tend to peel a lot. I don't know if that would make them worse.

Helga I don't think I'll be polishing my finger nails due to work and climbing but I'll have a go looking after them Grin no idea what to do with cuticles and things though?!

Will do a boots online shop this week, I have a few other bits to get like a comedone extractor to replace the one I lost and new face mask as the lovely smelling Good Stuff one I bought to match the rest of my good Stuff products burnt my face on Friday and has left me pink :(

Well my day 98 has started well- I have moisturised, had my ACV, had 1 litre of water already and had a mushroom omelette for breakfast.

My main taskfor today is to start my feet routine as they are my biggest bugbear (apart from my weight) so that's going to be good.

Must remember my vitamin too.

Good morning :)

I didn't make it onto the stepper as I pulled lots of leg muscles on Saturday. Instead I did 50 sit ups, which was fun with a pulled muscle between my shoulder and neck! I'm falling apart!

Also had a detox herb tea this morning. Yuck.

Doilooklikeatourist · 17/09/2012 07:59

Just had my hot lemon water , nice and refreshing .
Will have an activia yoghurt , and a pear , if not too squishy , for breakfast .
Making a load of veg soup for lunch , not sure about dinner , need something easy as I'm working later and DH can't ( really can't ) cook .

Hair washed and dried , body showered and lotioned .

Loads of handcream on last night , hands feel lovely this morning .
Feet might take a bit longer !

Which hair oil does everyone use? I tried a homemade thing from the Internet last night, it was absolutely vile and make my hair all stringy and lank. Had to hurriedly wash my hair again this morning to try and make it better but it is still pretty horrid! :-/

Morning all. Day 98 ahead.

Today I am going to make myself drink more water.
I am feeling a bit more glossy already. My feet are looking nice - and my hands look all manicured. I even corrected a few chips last night - usually if just let them all chip away.
I am also all de-fuzzed and moisturised.

Need to take more care with what I am eating. Missss - I am so impressed at you staying away from carbs and sugar.

I've found that a bit more of the list than I want isn't really good for me :( But here goes my list:

  1. 8 glasses of filtered water a day
  2. Exfoliate (everything...within reason) >>> I have exfoliating glove things and some gorgeous Lush blackberry and coal exfoliator, that's okay right? Or is there some good trick?
  3. Use teeth whitener >>> Any tips for this, whitening toothpastes make my teeth go funny when I use then for too long!
  4. Use anti-aging face cream Don't need it just yet Grin Will change to "Use a face mask regularly."
  5. Intensive nail care (feet and hands)
  6. Use eyelash growth serum OR eye cream eye stick thing.
  7. The Shred / other intensive exercise (I have health issues that limit this, had a down week last week so will hopefully keep going for a month now!
  8. At least 2 extra fruit & veg every day
  9. Healthy breakfast daily

10. Use hair oil (moroccan hair oil for eg, or kerastase etc) >>> Any oiling okay? I have really oily hair so would this make it worse?
11. No alcohol during the week & no boozing it up on weekends I don't really drink often. I won't get drunk on the rare occasion I drink will be my compromise (so one drink only! Grin)
12. Take vitamins every day
13. Body brushing
14. At least 2 servings of salmon or other fatty fish per week. Veggie here. Have Flax oil daily.
15. One early night once a week. Suggest 9PM.
16. Regular hair removal
17. Give up one naughty favourite item e.g. chocolate/crisps Not a huge eater of sweet things. Cleanse morning and night & scrub daily?
18. No more fizzy drinks Don't really drink them anyway!
19. DAILY body moisturising
20. Warm water with lemon first thing in the a.m. Herbal tea first thing in AM

:)
This morning I have had herbal tea, toast with almond butter (first breakfast in years! I feel a bit ill though already Confused) and
