Day 100

So what have you done and what are you planning to do?

I've started on the water. I had planned to weigh myself but forgot (great start) in addition to everything else on my list I'm going to paint my nails later.

Wow you're both doing well ladies!
Have fallen by the wayside somewhat, have had the mother of all colds last few days leaving me with skin like salami, eyes like full stops & a big red hooter. On the upside, have lost a pound or two.
Need to face the world today so heading for bathroom & body brush, moisturise, vits, water water everywhere, outfit planned.......
Ugh feel weak as a kitten Sad

I'm very embarrassed by how long it has been since I checked in. And by the fact I don't have an update! Although I have lost 12 pounds, stopped drinking wine and had a haircut(which I don't really love, it's a bit too short, but it will grow).

Also walking about an hour a day with the puppy. So lots of fresh air.

I think it's scary day 28
Well moisturised , that makes a frightening difference ! Skin feels lovely , and I've got rid of 2 bottles of body lotion that have been hanging round for ages .
Water going down nicely , i am alcohol free at least 3 nights a week , and drinking less wine than I used to at the weekend .
Toenails are a fetching turquoise at the moment . Am going gold tomorrow !
Haircut booked for Friday .
Swimming every day ( then jacuzzi as a reward )
How is everyone else ?

Thank you Paint I'm feeling a lot better now - ear infection plus sinusitis was a horrible combination. You must've walked for a goodly while to get blisters !

I'm trying to get back into the swing of things: I've had a bit of a sort through my clothes/make up. Now I'm not blowing my nose every 30 secs I've painted my nails nicely. I'm trying to look a bit more sophisticated and have started wearing my hair up (neatly) occasionally.

Poor Bookfairy ear infections are horrible- you need a rest!

I was very proud of myself for going on a huge walk yesterday but today have two massive blisters- ouch!

Anyone else sleeping better on less caffeine?

Day 48

I have a stinker of a cold and have eaten 6 Cadbury's Caramel biscuits in one sitting :(

Oh Lordy is it only 49 days to go !
Fell off the wagon and into a vat of fish and chips and cream tea as we went to Cornwall for half term .
Too much wine and not enough veg does not do me any good at all .
Back on the straight and narrow now , definetely need to up the fruit and veg and fibre . I did the fibre challenge ( channel 4 food hospital ) had to up fibre intake to 28 g a day , making sure to drink 2 litres of water .
I was amazed at how much healthier I felt , and I like feeling that way .
Toe nails polished , fingernails buffed and shaped , beautician yesterday , so fuzz free . Exfoliated and moisturised shame about the excercise

checking in, I've not been very good at keeping up with the thread, or very good at keeping up with the challange!

vitimins are going well and most nights I remember my beauty regime. but we're moving house at the moment so alot of the other stuff has gone out the window. hopefully we will be moved in by december and I can jump back on teh wagon and keep going into the new year, I may have to start a new year challange!

Hello, wow didn't realise how long it was since I'd checked in Blush

Things are a bit meh. Skin care routine going well, but exercise and diet a bit crap. I don't know why but since I've been breastfeeding I don't like fruit! I used to love the stuff for breakfast, dessert and snacks. Now yuck. I want chocolate and bread.

Being back at work my organisation skills are better so my clothes are ironed and ready the night before usually So that's a step in the right direction. Hope I can keep it up!

Also - I love the shampoo bar. I reckon it stretches my hair washing gap by about half a day... So if I wash it Monday night I can get Tues and Wednesday of decent non greaseball hair.

Sympathies, BookFairy! It's sooo hard to keep on the straight & narrow. But I think this thread helps in keeping focused.

Just 'shredded' again, still only level one but pleased at how much easier it was than last night. I'm always amazed at how quickly your body forgets, but then how quickly it remembers again.

Women are amazing!

Day 50

Good for you Helga! I'm making a conscious effort to walk more and am doing quite well with that.

NotQuitePerfect I'm the same - beauty regime and vitamins are a proper routine now but just when I start on the healthy eating wagon I'm thrown off it. No willpower Blush Grin

Keep forgetting to wardrobe plan for the following day - going to try to make that this week's habit.

Report
NotQuitePerfect · 05/11/2012 18:30

Well it's 5 days since I promised to go back on the wagon, during which I have done nothing but eat, drink & be merry. Late nights, too much wine, no exercise - disaster!

BUT - am keeping up with the vits, facial oil, body exfoliation, cuticle oil, fake tan (in moderation!) & water consumption.

Just shredded for the 1st time in 9 days - back to level 1 and it nearly killed me. Feel as weak as a kitten Blush.

How's everyone else doing? X

Day 52

Reporting in. I'm not achieving everything but I'm becoming less self critical :)

BookFairy · 01/11/2012 23:01

Day 54

Awww Paint I have the opposite problem as I have really quite small boobs! The weather is terrible at the moment. I'm going for layers - long sleeved t shirts under dresses. I don't know how you manage getting up every 2 hours - clearly chocolate is a necessity :)

I'm wondering if I have mild SAD. I'm feeling a bit miserable/tired/lethargic/not keen on getting up or going out in the dark mornings or evenings. On the upside my skin is looking quite good and I'm remembering to take my multivitamin.

Day 55

I also lost the thread, oops....

I think I have a serious case of "winter". It's freezing cold, pitch dark and when I saw myself in the mirror today all I could think was "yuck"

Really hating having gigantic boobs while the rest of me is small. I had a thick wooly jumper on today and looked totally mumsy with my ill fitting maternity bra underneath.

I am managing to stick to things like moisturise and cleansing etc but DD is up every 2 hours in the night so inevitably I am reaching for fizzy drinks and chocolate to boost my energy levels.

How is everyone else holding up?

Day 56

I lost the thread and had to spend ages finding it !

How is everyone?

I started my new job so am getting a lot more exercise and have less time for snacking :)

Lavenderhoney · 28/10/2012 02:47

Am drinking water more now! Mainly because. Am on the treadmill running 5 k a day for 3 days running now. Just tell myself in 35 mins I can get off and that's it!

Feet are in a state, next job I will sort them out and wear pretty sandals not my Birkenstocks everywhere:)

Am wearing sparkly tiara at dds request about the house, so feeling quite princessy. Although not sure princesses eat jammy dodgers with pjs on:)

Day 59 I think ...
Had a few glasses of wine last night , feeling quite rubbish this morning . Tired and legs feel heavy . I feel much better when NOT having alcohol . Hadn't actually realised the difference until now .
Managing the fruit and veg , lots of water, exfoliate ( scratchy mitt ) and moisturising .
Sorted out my make up , and bought some of the No 7 matching your skin foundation ( £6-95 )
Just need to do my toenails , as have 2 naked nails and 8 painted nails . Not a good look .

Day 61

Sounds like everyone's doing quite well Smile

I'm not doing too badly, though I'm getting through body moisturiser much quicker than ever before! Exercise is still my sticking point, though I have been walking a lot more.

Paint it's great that you have someone to motivate you - I'm a bit jealous! I'm going to set myself little goals so my aim for the next week is to only eat chocolate at the weekend and not let myself buy it during the week (can't give it up altogether as that would make me too miserable!).

Report
Paintyourbox · 25/10/2012 10:41

Awww graceless sounds like you are having a rough time- hope it gets better soon.

Last night I managed to do my nails, moisturise all over and put on an overnight hair treatment. I can't help but think that the lack of sleep is undoing my good work however!

Going to start going to Zumba next week with my friend, we used to go twice a week before I got pg and we are quite good at motivating each other.
