Your thoughts please so I don't waste my pennies.

I've just purchased another bottle (fool me twice...) of Co-Op nail polish remover that wouldn't shift polish

ever..... ever...... ever.

YSL Touch Eclat. Made the skin under my eyes really itchy. Had to get rid of it and it's expensive :(

Monty27 · 27/06/2012 20:08

VO5 Ultimate hairspray. Hair goes pure flat, dull and limp when I use it. Grrrrr

ThisIsAUsername · 27/06/2012 20:13

Moroccan Oil. Don't know if I am using too much (one pump and not on the roots and my hair is shoulder blade length) but it makes my hair feel so yukky and limp. My hair felt fantastic the first time I used it, smelt lovely etc... haven't had the same result since! Very disappointed with it :(

pippop1 · 27/06/2012 20:13

Bio Oil. Made me v itchy and the smell made me feel ill.

cornysilk · 27/06/2012 20:16

bio oil made my skin really rough and weird
benefit benetit and high beam made me look like barbara cartland

Ameliagrey · 27/06/2012 20:29

Clinique Touch Base for eyes.
Dried in the packaging in days/weeks so was useless- get just as much coverage and base with a dab of foundation.

pootle123 · 27/06/2012 20:32

Biore pore strips (about 10 years ago). My most disappointing beauty buy ever. Expected them to lift all my blackheads out at the root in one go, but it left all the blackheads in place and lifted the surrounding skin Hmm

cluelessnchaos · 27/06/2012 20:34

Maybelline mascara, frizzease serum

Ameliagrey · 27/06/2012 20:35

Now I like Maybelline The Falsies- almost as good IMO as Lancome Hypnose.

YoulllaughAboutItOneDay · 27/06/2012 20:39

Anything with hype IME.

Touche Eclat - rubbish reverse panda.

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream - smells like it was invented for horses.

Whatever that Clarins thingy is that's meant to make you look all 'lifted'. - sticky, sticky.

Bio Oil - foul smell, did nothing. Still fall for it periodically though Hmm

Benefit tinted moisturiser - doesn't suit 'any colour' (this was before they brought out lite). I had been tangoed.

Thankfully I am now poor, so am less disappointed if cheap shit turns out to be shit Grin.

thepeoplesprincess · 27/06/2012 20:41

Maybelline BB cream. Makes me look exactly the same, except even greasier.

HazleNutt · 27/06/2012 20:49

Benefit They're Real mascara. Horrible, clumps, glues eyelashes together, does not lengthen nor thicken.

rusmum · 27/06/2012 20:51

smashbox mascara

the BBH

and moroccan oil

jazzchickens · 27/06/2012 20:54

Touch eclat

Clarins beauty flash balm

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream

Midge25 · 27/06/2012 20:59

Garnier BB Cream. I turned into a spotty greaseball...

Gingefringe · 27/06/2012 21:51

Touche éclat - the only thing I've ever had an allergic reaction to. Completely overhyped and expensive.

Emo76 · 27/06/2012 21:55

Yes yes to Clarins Beauty Flash

Bliss youth as we know it cream

Both roll up in mini sausage pieces if you put anything on top or touch your skin!

GreenEyesAndHam · 27/06/2012 21:57

I have very thick hair, lots and lots of hair. For most of my life, I've tried my best, with products and clever cuts etc, to minimise the sheer volume of my hair.

Trying to make my hair less big, if you will.

I bought the Babyliss Big Hair. I wasn't even drunk.

jazzchickens · 27/06/2012 22:03

GreenEyes I have similar hair. I have to wash it at night and sleep on it to flatten it down.

How big did it go? Grin

Nobhead · 27/06/2012 22:03

Johnson's holiday skin. Horribly allergic makes me itch and brings me out in red blotches when I use it.

puggirl · 27/06/2012 22:08

Clarins beauty flash balm - sticky, horrid stuff. What exactly is it's purpose again?

Clinique touch base - dried in pot after a few weeks. Benefit lemon aid is much better.

Bio oil - didn't seem to have any effect what so ever.

8 hr cream - got sucked in by the hype and hate it. Periodically I try it again but it's still awful stuff, smelly and sticky. Prefer Vaseline on lips, almond oil on cuticles and aloe Vera gel on burns.

Oh to have the money back I have wasted over the years...

GreenEyesAndHam · 27/06/2012 22:11

jazz like this only a tad longer

Confused
kerstina · 27/06/2012 22:32

Boots No 7 Amazing liquid eyeliner not amazing at all, the brush hairs stuck out so not a perfect line and took ages to dry. Rubbish !

ovariantryst · 27/06/2012 22:58

I am the idiot that believed this in The Guardian:

"Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey £16
I have never seen any woman look less than great in this. Foolproof and super flattering on all skins and ages."

Oh no it isn't. And Sali Hughes can come to my house if she wants to see proof. Made my mouth look like a dog's bottom.

justasecond · 27/06/2012 23:04

Clarins beauty flash balm
Chanel lipgloss
Several lancome face cream - all rubbed off and were sticky
Am sure I will tink of more
