New thread!

Not that I've been on the old one much Blush)

OP posts:
Bonsoir · 21/02/2011 20:43

French people take a lot of tranquillisers... unless they are rich, when they have psychoanalysis Hmm

FritziGreenEyes · 21/02/2011 20:47

looby Similar here in Germany to France: Kinderarzt is GP for children and we also have dentists for children. I haven't been to a GP in ages as I go to gyn for check-ups or dermatologist, ENP etc directly if there are any problems. GPs' role same as in France basically.

ants Link takes me to belts?

VerityBrulee · 21/02/2011 20:56

Sorry Looby I did seem cross in my earlier post, the problem is I just don't really feel any empathy from this doctor and he doesn't know what's wrong or how to 'fix' it, and I had to pay EUR60 for the pleasure of him telling me that and EUR30 for a blood test, which would have nearly paid for the Belstaffs I would have bought if I hadn't been having that pointless conversation with the GP! Honestly, it was missing out on the boots that annoyed me more than the doctor Smile My dc see a lovely young male doctor in a different practice and I might switch to him, but I keep searching for the Holy Grail of a female GP around my age who I can relate to. Anyway, all forgiven I hope!

OllieWollieWoo · 21/02/2011 20:56

Fritzi not strictly yellow but I thought this scarf was nice here

LOL Tracey cross posts, I'm such a slow typer!

Ants I like the Gap dress, I love navy, can't stop thinking about that navy silk VWA top Vin linked to the other day.

MarshaBrady · 21/02/2011 21:02

Ah what a shame re Belstaff boots Verity!

I'll keep watch for some more. Which ones do you like?

Need a s&b beeper system

VerityBrulee · 21/02/2011 21:07

These are the cause of all my angst, didn't realise Belstaff have a discount site. And they're brown, would go with GD coat I have waiting in wardrobe for spring. V tempting!

Exhausted get the houlihans, you deserve a treat Smile

OllieWollieWoo · 21/02/2011 21:10

Btw - attempted to do Level 2 of Shred today - oh my, its a quantum leap up from Level 1 isn't it!

traceybath · 21/02/2011 21:12

Verity - I've got those in the navy from the outnet [whispers] and have worn them a lot particularly with skirts.

MarshaBrady · 21/02/2011 21:20

They are great. I still love the outnet for a good discount.

Incidentally Bloss you were correct about boosting the economy the dhl guy someone told me about how much is blasting round the country care of nap and outnet etc. And it is a hefty account indeed. I don't feel bad about sending stuff back on the same day now.

notyummy · 21/02/2011 21:20

God- am REALLY depressing myself watching The Magdalene Sisters. Perhaps I should give up Nf watch Glee...

Yes - Shred level 2 is a big jump from 1 IMHO.

traceybath · 21/02/2011 21:22

NY - we're watching the outcasts - seems deadly dull. But can't watch One Born Every Minute as too graphic this series for me Blush

MarshaBrady · 21/02/2011 21:23

Am watching Glee. Well half watching. Gwynnie was just on.

I avoid one born....

VerityBrulee · 21/02/2011 21:25

I thought you had them Tracey. Navy boots are very hard to come by. I might email the outnet about them. What is the sizing like? I usually wear 37, but had to go down to 36 in Farhi ankle boots I got recently.

traceybath · 21/02/2011 21:25

Was Gwynnie good? She was looking amazing in the pap shots of her on holiday in the DM today.

notyummy · 21/02/2011 21:25

I gave up on Outcasts. Usually I love a but of apocalyptic Sci Fi Blush but it seems a bit dull... And really cheap production values.

Loved South Riding last night though. Lead characters clothes are great!

traceybath · 21/02/2011 21:26

I think Belstaff is true to size - if anything they come up a little small.

MarshaBrady · 21/02/2011 21:26

She was ok, bit odd for some reason. Looks better in the films... but yes saw those pics she looked good.

OllieWollieWoo · 21/02/2011 21:27

Tracey - watch this!

VerityBrulee · 21/02/2011 21:30

Oh NY the Magdelane story is so sad. There was a Magdelane Laundry near us and as I child I remember ladies who lived there who we'd meet in the local shop. When the truth about what happened there came out we were all in total shock. I think the film is very close to the truth.

OllieWollieWoo · 21/02/2011 21:34

Oh yes - Magdelane drama very haunting - sort of thing that you think a lot about after watching it.

AntPants1 · 21/02/2011 21:58

ollie I have just bought the M&S scarf you linked to...Grin

carciofi · 21/02/2011 22:01

Ants, that link brings me to Hobbs belts.

Verity, doesn't that Belstaff site ship to Ireland? My cousin is a GP and I would recommend him but he is in Malahide so probably a little out of the way for you.

Exhausted, I think you need the Houlihans.

blossoming · 21/02/2011 22:03

Well done on Level 2 ollie. If it's any encouragement, I find level 3 easier.
Gosh verity, I'd be annoyed too. You have to pay??
looby, thanks for the link. I've decided to keep the Gap skinny cargos after all! I think they fill a hole!
Knowing wink to marsha!
traceybath I can't believe you're exchanging so soon!
carciofi, I've had mixed results with jeans in the past. The ones I'm selling now are really lovely but have failed to sell before.
Sorry if I've missed anyone. It's been a strange old night here..
