I'm in utter agony.. Please help me identify what this is..

Small lump started about a week ago, each day goes by it progresses.. Today its red raw where my thighs have rubbed together the skin has broken down. I've lathered it magnesium sulphate and hot compress... I can see a very tiny head coming up.
My god the agony is unreal.. Also don't feel myself at all. Not feverish or anything. Just feel really terrible.
What is this? Boil? Abscess??

It actually didn't smell too bad.. Not as awful as I imagine it would. I've put another dressing over it and there's still caca coming out so imagine it's not done yet..

Ds(7) is fascinated but was sick a little in his mouth He's a great sporner like me and loves watching blackhead and earwax videos but this was perhaps a little too much for him when poorly. I'm so proud 🤣 Anyway, back to mount etna: I'm so glad you got it sorted. It must have been agonising especially in that location. Thank you for the photos and descriptions they are fab!
