Shopping online can be a great way to save money and find exclusive deals that aren’t available on the high street, but what tips can you share that help you get even better deals online? Perhaps you subscribe to price-drop emails, utilise coupon websites or maybe you have a trusted price comparison tool. Whatever your tips are, please share with us below.

I think of the item I want, go to google search then select 'shopping' underneath. I can then see the cheapest price - I will then see if I can get cashback via topcashback etc.

I use Kelkoo for electricals and price runner for everything else. I would compare the results to Argos and Amazon in case there are any discounts too. (Got a dining set for 20% cheaper at Argos last year)

I use Google’s price comparison shopping. I normally double check prices on Amazon/ Argos/eBay too

I always look at https://www.trolley.co.uk/ before doing my weekly shop to see where the offers are on the things I want. For anything else google is king

I use supermarket wizard for my shopping - unless I am planning to go to Aldi - which I always find good quality and always competitive. I find price runner is a good site to use also.

I installed shopium on my phone a couple of years ago, and check if I can pick up free or discounted products whilst doing my shop - all you do is scan the barcode, and receipt and the money is back in you bank account in a couple of days, I use supermarket comparison sites too.

I search the item I want and see if I can find it cheaper from another reputable online store

I use Google shopping and also check Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, and Vinted. Always open to new ideas to save - thank you!

I would do a quick google shopping search to get an idea of prices for an item, depending on the the item I want I might check eBay or vinted too.

And for bigger purchases I'd go through Quidco or another cashback site

Jam Doughnut is a good site to use with a lot of purchases as you get cashback - which you can save for bigger purchases or a 'free' shopping week - I love the asda rewards app where I get cash rather than points and can save for my christmas shop - I have quite a bit built up for this.

I use add-ons like Honey which search for the best price and earn you points for cashback and I search for voucher codes if a box for one comes up at check out.

It's also good to look in Amazon Warehouse where returns are sold cheaper as they may no longer have the full packaging

Initially I do a Google search to compare prices on there, then I may use a price checker website. I always look for discount codes online and have also added Honey as a Chrome extension - it checks for discount codes on your basket before you press the checkout button and tells you if you have got the best deal or if there is a way you can save extra money.

I also use cashback sites such as Top Cashback, Quidco and Kidstart as they can earn you cashback on your purchases which soon builds up.

I am a super savvy shopper and my friends are always asking me for tips on how to find the best deals. I enjoy finding ways to bring the price of my purchases down - I want to get the most I can for my hard earned money!

Lots of the same tools as others have mentioned then I also am lucky enough to be part of a discount scheme at work, so once I've found the cheapest place to buy something I can often buy an e-gift card through my work scheme at 5-10% discount to pay for it.

I do a Google search of the product to look for the cheapest price. I then go to a few of the sites to look for sign up deals, see if the shop is on topcashback and look for any discount codes.

I am going to look into the Honey add- on others have suggested as it sounds useful.

I agree with everything above - google searching, and supermarket comparison sites (but they don't always include Aldi and Lidl) Sign up to Argos mailing list as they send money off vouchers occasionally which are useful - but need to be spend soon.

I get daily notifications from hotukdeals for any really good prices and check on there for discount codes. I also always make sure to use topcashback as it all adds up. I’ve recently found too that when using certain cards I get additional cashback straight to my bank account - double bonus!

Another vote for topcashback - a percentage of your spend - even if there are further discounts to be had on the website too - some give 10% off (the only drawback is it can take many weeks to have your money - but I save this for Christmas each year)

I also do a Google for different prices, but won’t buy from any random site just because it’s cheaper. I also factor in ease of getting my items (eg it’s worth paying an extra £2-5 for something that I can get click and collect from Argos while I’m in sainsburys anyway rather than being reliant on delivery services that can be questionable in Christmas season)

And run most things through Quidco

Check the price from a few reputable shops to compare. Use camel camel camel to check price history on Amazon to see if it really is a good deal or not.

Camelcamelcamel for Amazon price history, Google search and comparison sites like pricerunner and trolley. I also look on Hotukdeals. If it's Amazon and not urgent I leave stuff in my bag and check it as the price goes up and down a lot and then buy when it drops a lot. I do factor in ease of getting as I have the Next delivery plan, Waitrose is near for JL stuff. I also check for free returns
