With humble beginnings as an open-air Christmas market in Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland has since grown into an extravaganza with ice skating, live performances, roller coaster rides, street food stalls, festive bars and live music.

Loved the chestnuts and ice skating

We love the ice skating! It’s just a magical place, a must have for Christmas!

Walking through the park area, taking the whole atmosphere in, smelling the street food and just feeling festive !

We love watching the street artists perform.

Going to London and seeing all the decorations!

Loved the circus and the big wheel and wonderful food stalls.

We love skating (or trying to) the musicians, and eating streetfood on the benches watching the world to by 👫

The Christmas market is magical, I'd love to take my children now they are a bit older.

The smells, can't be beaten, you just know it's Christmas.

We have some lovely memories from Winter Wonderland - mostly about the ridiculous number of bratwurst that DS can eat and the time that DD won a crazily huge doughnut beanbag and we had to carry it home on the train

Love the sparkly trees

As a family we go every year and spend 2 days there.the ice sculpture are fantastic. Yes everything is expensive but for us it is now part of Christmas, a tradition we don't want to stop.

It's been a few years since we have been as we haven't been able to afford it. The best bit for me is the smells and the Christmassy atmosphere. It is just the most magical place.

Grubby and overpriced?

The big rides are spectacular for my teen girls but last year there was a lady entertainer singing by the Bavarian bar and a crowd gathered around and joined in, we were drinking mulled wine and the atmosphere was amazing

The beautiful festive lights, the street food, the entertainment and the whole happy atmosphere 🙌

Love our annual trip here ! The music, the crisp night air, the AMAZING lights, the street food (and it's smell in the night air) watching families skate - after COVID took this from us - I appreciate it even more now

We love the big Ferris wheel the most, plus the ice sculptures.

The Christmas market for hand made gifts, and the lights which decorate the whole place !

Listening to festive music, the fairground rides, and the streetfood village - something for everyone !

Getting stuck on the ice slide last year. Ice isn't as slippy as you think when wearing jeans.

I coincidently happened to be in London at the same time as some relatives from abroad last Christmas so we met up at winter wonderland and had a good catch up over multiple mulled wines and ciders. It was lovely.

Overcrowded and overpriced.

Love seeing DCs ice skate for the first time clutching the penguins!

It's the atmosphere, all festive and bright, the look of awe on the childrens faces as they walk around soaking it in. Takes me back to when I was small. Makes me feel all gooey inside. Christmas is my favourite time of the year 🎄
