We love watching Christmas films together as a family! All snuggled up on the sofa with some food is just perfect. Our absolute favourites that we will be watching are:

National Lampoons Christ Vacation definitely- my favourite Christmas film!!

Miracle on 34th street and Scrooged on Christmas Eve...love bill Murray!

And this year I'll be adding muppet Christmas carol and polar express, as well as the snowman as my son is nearly two so might sit for a few mins with mommy!

Arthur Christmas, Elf and Home Alone.

Die Hard 1 and 2. In fact I've already watched half of Die Hard as it was on and once flicked onto we watched until I fell asleep...

The grinch and home alone. We've vowed to wait until December... but the weekend is going to be tricky

Muppet Christmas Carol is my all time favourite. But also looking forward to rewatching Last Christmas, I think it's an underrated film.

It has to be Elf!
Home Alone is great too - or anything that includes snow!

Always Miracle on 54th street. Did I get my bet right,? We alternate year on year, b/w and colorised.

Another vote for muppets Christmas carol. The soundtrack is on my Spotify in preparation for a drive/singalong over the Christmas holidays.

Another Elf fan here , love Will Farrell, and any of the Nativity films.

Home Alone. DS hasn't seen it yet so I think he will love the slapstick of it.
It's a Wonderful Life. Never seen it (only a few clips) so I want to watch that finally.
Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline.

We always watch The Snowman at Christmas. It’s been a tradition of mine since I was a child and it’s a special tradition for all of us as a family to this day. It’s a magical film to watch when it’s frosty outside and the anticipation of Christmas is all around.

We also watch The Sound Of Music as a family, but that has Boxing Day/post Christmas vibes for us.

Die Hard is always on our list along with Home Alone, Elf, The Polar Express, Christmas with the Kranks, Gremlins and The Santa Clause

Elf is our number one Christmas movie, plus I am partial to The Sound of Music.

My son wants to watch A Christmas Story. It’s very American but it’s what I watched growing up. I’ve told him how it was always a Christmas tradition for me growing up, so he wants to see why!

Home Alone.

The Muppets Christmas Carol is a must around here every year and I recently introduced my 4 year old to all things Muppet! Also probably Elf, and Home Alone. It’s a time for nostalgia!

Elf and Its a Wonderful Life. It's not Christmas if we don't watch them on Christmas Eve, eating chocolate.

Arthur Christmas. We’ve watched it every year on Christmas Eve since dc were tiny, they still insist they watch it now and the eldest dc is 18.

Always watch Home Alone, Miracle on 34th St, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and Elf. Have been loving The Christmas Chronicles in recent years as well
