NOW CLOSED

It’s inevitable that clothes sometimes end up dirty and stained, and though you may have handy tips and tricks for removing stains, there might be some that fill you with dread. Fairy Non Bio would like to hear about the stains that you’re most scared of.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We never want people to be afraid of wearing the clothes they love in case it gets stained. It’s our job to help. We want to know what are the really devilish stains that never seem to budge”.

Do you struggle with mud stains? Maybe your child wiping their hands down their clothes after eating greasy food fill you with dread? Perhaps baby poo stains are your nemesis? Or maybe it’s a spilt glass of wine that you worried may never come out?

Whatever the stains you’re most scared of, share them below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Grass stains, I have real problems getting these out of the kids clothes

SleepFreeZone · 10/07/2018 21:33

I’ve just stupidly tried to bleach school shirts that had suncream around the colour. Of course now the dollars are bright pink!!!! I’m soaking in soda crystals overnight but I suspect they’re going to end up in the bin.

Biro I know of nothing that will get it out

suewilly · 10/07/2018 22:43

I hate oily stains because they are so hard to get out of clothes. I've been saving my washing up water to use on the garden because of the very dry weather but every time I try to carry the bowl outside I end up spilling greasy water down my front. I've ruined so many t shirts the last couple of weeks!

Permanent markers and deodorant spray marks always make me panic

rejcomp · 11/07/2018 04:45

Bleach because there's no fixing that unless you re-dye the whole item..

sofieellis · 11/07/2018 10:04

Tomato sauce, red wine, tea and coffee and the things I really struggle to get rid of. Blood comes out with Ace bleach or whatever they call it these days.

legfaced · 11/07/2018 12:51

Grease stains..I just can't get rid of them!

KJ1986UK · 11/07/2018 13:18

Blackcurrant juice. They're always drinking it so I've always got to remind them to be careful with it.

ha2el · 11/07/2018 14:01

Oil and grease. The remaining shadow of a stain from these will always haunt me!

Leanfun · 11/07/2018 14:05

Tomato sauce that we have with pasta. I always worry until clothes come out of machine without it. Have to say we use Fairy capsules and no problems but I still worry.

dannydog1 · 11/07/2018 14:28

Tomato based definitely the worse

MillyVanilli222 · 11/07/2018 15:56
