NOW CLOSED

It’s inevitable that clothes sometimes end up dirty and stained, and though you may have handy tips and tricks for removing stains, there might be some that fill you with dread. Fairy Non Bio would like to hear about the stains that you’re most scared of.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We never want people to be afraid of wearing the clothes they love in case it gets stained. It’s our job to help. We want to know what are the really devilish stains that never seem to budge”.

Do you struggle with mud stains? Maybe your child wiping their hands down their clothes after eating greasy food fill you with dread? Perhaps baby poo stains are your nemesis? Or maybe it’s a spilt glass of wine that you worried may never come out?

Whatever the stains you’re most scared of, share them below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Beetroot - just can't get the stains out!

LovesShopping1 · 13/07/2018 23:12

i am scared of Hair colour, and Bolognese sauce stains

Hopezibah · 13/07/2018 23:29

Biro biro biro!!! Almost impossible to get rid of although with a good detergent they do fade over time. Beyond that paint - my daughter literally did jackson pollock style painting at school and most of the paint ended up on her school dress.

Also anything with tomato sauce as part of school lunch seems to be worn with pride on her uniform.

Almost every stain! Any kind of makeup on my bedding, grass stains, blood on white t-shirts. Mud in particular, growing up I never thought it was a serial-stainer but boy was I wrong

Tomato stains are a real pain to get out of clothes.

Anj123 · 14/07/2018 20:15

Cherry stains, dark red and very difficult to remove. Also tomato.

ladymadonna1 · 14/07/2018 22:45

Tomato and poo stains are a pain, but after a few washes, they tend to come out. Paint, on the other hand, never seems to shift! Grrrrr.

KittyKat88 · 14/07/2018 23:37

Chocolate, greasy things and tomato-based things. Pens can also be a pain on school uniforms!

WindandWuthering · 14/07/2018 23:42

Mayonnaise, ink and red pesto!

Goingovertosusanshouse · 15/07/2018 09:27

user1485629191 · 15/07/2018 19:48

suntan cream, always end up chucking some of our holiday clothes!

MissJadeA · 15/07/2018 21:27

Grass stains and blood..My worst fears!

Gill81uk · 15/07/2018 22:41

I have two that I absolutely dread! The first is whiteboard pen from school! My daughter's class sit with their whiteboards on their knees and inevitable white polo shirts (winter) and summer dresses (summer) are ruined by streaks and dots of black pen!

The other is the grass and mud stain that gets into the knees of all my sons trousers!

I'm fine with all the red stains, strawberries, tomatoes etc as I find the sun removes those when I line dry.

bec4everuk1 · 17/07/2018 14:09

Cherries are the one I dread and certain paints and felt tip pens :( x

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 17/07/2018 15:03

Blood, lily pollen, turmeric and coffee

Elliejojo · 17/07/2018 16:45

I’m not ‘scared’ 😉 but I really hate hot chotoclate stains, especially on white pj’s of and sun cream on white tops... I can never get either out!
