NOW CLOSED

It’s inevitable that clothes sometimes end up dirty and stained, and though you may have handy tips and tricks for removing stains, there might be some that fill you with dread. Fairy Non Bio would like to hear about the stains that you’re most scared of.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We never want people to be afraid of wearing the clothes they love in case it gets stained. It’s our job to help. We want to know what are the really devilish stains that never seem to budge”.

Do you struggle with mud stains? Maybe your child wiping their hands down their clothes after eating greasy food fill you with dread? Perhaps baby poo stains are your nemesis? Or maybe it’s a spilt glass of wine that you worried may never come out?

Whatever the stains you’re most scared of, share them below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Muddy paw marks on white cotton sheets. It doesn't matter what product I use, I usually end up bleaching the fabric as they don't wash out.

Things like curry sauces or tomato sauces are a nightmare to get out of clothes sometimes so that always gets me nervous, and also when the fat splashes from a pan onto my clothes I always think that's another top ruined!!

pootler · 09/07/2018 23:44

Grease! No matter how good your laundry detergent is, a regular wash will never remove grease stains. But rubbing a little bit of Fairy liquid onto the offending spot before you put it in the machine always does the trick!

Curry stains are the most intimidating. Especially when they've dried in, impossible to get out.

Visioncroquet · 10/07/2018 09:37

Anything tomato based. Pen marks.

CatherineV · 10/07/2018 12:10

I have Biro and tar or oil. They can be a devil to remove.

LeeR1985 · 10/07/2018 18:49

I'm not really scared of stains in clothes, a good washing powder and washing machine will fix it.. I'm scared of dark stains on my cream carpet though!!
