NOW CLOSED

It’s inevitable that clothes sometimes end up dirty and stained, and though you may have handy tips and tricks for removing stains, there might be some that fill you with dread. Fairy Non Bio would like to hear about the stains that you’re most scared of.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We never want people to be afraid of wearing the clothes they love in case it gets stained. It’s our job to help. We want to know what are the really devilish stains that never seem to budge”.

Do you struggle with mud stains? Maybe your child wiping their hands down their clothes after eating greasy food fill you with dread? Perhaps baby poo stains are your nemesis? Or maybe it’s a spilt glass of wine that you worried may never come out?

Whatever the stains you’re most scared of, share them below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

The stains I have problems with are tomato based mostly. Also as we went under some properties someone emptied an ink pen from a flat above all over us - we lost a lot of clothes that day!

Lauzipop1 · 09/07/2018 17:55

Grease or oil. It just wrecks clothes.

shuggas · 09/07/2018 18:08

Sun cream.. it's ruined so many clothes!

kamaxtra · 09/07/2018 18:37

I LOVE TOMATO BASED PASTA DISHES BUT I'M ALWAYS SCARED OF GETTING TOMATO STAINS ON MY WHITE TOPS!

beckyinman · 09/07/2018 19:14

Red wine, but mainly because I don't want to waste white wine trying to get rid of it

barbsbarbs · 09/07/2018 19:15

blood, poo, red wine and tea they are a complete nightmare to get off.

JBH316 · 09/07/2018 19:22

Underarm stains - so sweat and deodorant. To me, the area just ends up looking grubby even after washing. What's the secret? Also hair dye. I now keep an old beach towel just for that job - the stains have never come out!

alsproject · 09/07/2018 19:24

curry stains as they are difficult to get out

cocochips · 09/07/2018 19:31

Sharpie pens

seeingdouble2 · 09/07/2018 20:21

General floor stains on white socks from the floors and grass stains on white socks are a total nightmare here. Everyone never puts the socks the right way round so its even harder to get them clean, as much as I love my family I am not turning sweaty dirty socks the right way round. Gross!

kittykomp · 09/07/2018 20:21

peaches

Pmliu · 09/07/2018 20:47

Stubborn stains that do not come out no matter how much you washed and scrubbed it like mud & dark sauces like ketchup.

twinklenic · 09/07/2018 20:48

white board pen marker from school. My youngest age 4 always gets this on her uniform and i STILL havent found a solution to remove it

giddyypixie · 09/07/2018 21:17

None really...there is generally a detergent or stain remover that can get rid of stains in this day and age!

andreaca · 09/07/2018 21:29

Curry stains, and grass stains from my son`s footy matches.

Gynlais · 09/07/2018 21:32

Any tomato based sauce or soup is a nightmare if not soaked immediately.

RACHELSMITH45 · 09/07/2018 21:49
