Laundry can be a surprisingly personal thing - whether you have a special way of hanging out your clothes or a foolproof way of getting your clothes to smell great. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to hear what you consider the most important when it comes to laundry, and what you’d love your laundry detergent to do.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We have some people tell us that scent is the key to a great wash, others who won’t compromise of softness or those who are all about natural ingredients or the gentleness of the formula. We would love to know what you just cannot not go without?”

Do you focus on getting rid of any odour from your clothes? Perhaps it’s important to you that your laundry products are skin-friendly for the entire family? Maybe you put a lot of energy into keeping your clothes in great condition? Are you a lover of fabric conditioner, keen to ensure that your clothes are all super soft?

Whatever the most important aspect of laundry is to you, share this on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

Clean clothes which smell nice and fresh using a product that cares for skin and fabric. It's not a lot to ask really is it Smile

emmmaaa26 · 12/06/2018 12:21

devito92 · 12/06/2018 12:26

Trying to get my clothes dry without using the tumble dryer.Great in the summer when you can peg out, I've since started using a dehumidifer duing the winter which has been a great help.

Number one is the clothes need to be clean on a quick wash, washing machines these days can take hours and it is just not necessary for it to take so long!

Rocioo · 12/06/2018 14:45

It's important for me to remove the stains as much as possible. I also try to hang the clothes nicely so I don't have to iron them afterwards :)

foxessocks · 12/06/2018 14:48

Softness!

mollymoo818 · 12/06/2018 14:49

I only use non-bio detergent because I think it is the most gentle and know it won't irritate anyone's skin. Of course it also needs to be good at cleaning and removing stains. I like a nice fresh smell but nothing too overpowering but I do love it when it smells fresh for the whole day after washing.

brownhandbag · 12/06/2018 16:50

stain removal anything else is a bonus

Ikea1234 · 12/06/2018 17:48

With my children, it has to be achieving white whites and stain removal. Can't stand it when the stain is almost out, or grease still lingers, and whites look the colour of bandages. Everything has to be spotless!

heiheithechicken · 12/06/2018 18:14

Clean and the smell!
Used fairy since I had my first baby and now I still use it because it reminds me of when he was tiny. Fairy smells like new baby Smile

wedothebestbbqs · 12/06/2018 18:53

Getting the sheets and clothes nice and clean. Not too many fragrances as they trigger sneezing here, and I am doing a lot of washing due to having a small baby.

rhinosuze · 12/06/2018 19:48

The washing - I want them to look clean and smell clean

Mozarmstrong · 12/06/2018 19:57

Nice fresh smell rid of stains. Clothes soft and price got to be right

helly27 · 12/06/2018 20:18

Being able to get clothes clean on a short low temperature was and long lasting scent

giddyypixie · 12/06/2018 20:29

That it comes out spanking clean and smells good too!

twinklenic · 12/06/2018 20:38

actually cleaning quality is the most important for me followed by scent

LeeR1985 · 12/06/2018 21:23

The most important thing is a good detergent that cleans thoroughly and smells nice. Always throw in some fabric softener too :)

EasilyDistracted77 · 12/06/2018 23:15

I use the washing powder that I do because other products caused a reaction on my baby's skin. 10 years later and I still use the same product because it cleans without leaving an overpowering artificial smell; because it's a powder and I can control the dosage (as opposed to tablets or capsules) and because it doesn't cost the earth.

Seablueeyes · 13/06/2018 00:18

My priority is clean and fresh smelling. My husband's priority is sensitive detergent to avoid aggravating his groin area- yes, some detergents have done that!

FreddieRocks · 13/06/2018 04:33

Stain free. Allergic reaction free and as positive as possible in ecological terms.

SalutHallo · 13/06/2018 06:55

That all stains are gone!

starryskies78 · 13/06/2018 07:01

Other than clean clothes! It's definitely natural ingredients and the gentleness of the formula is a big point for me. It's important that only gentle ingredients are on our clothes. I do also love gorgeously fresh smelling clothes too.
