Laundry can be a surprisingly personal thing - whether you have a special way of hanging out your clothes or a foolproof way of getting your clothes to smell great. With this in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to hear what you consider the most important when it comes to laundry, and what you’d love your laundry detergent to do.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “We have some people tell us that scent is the key to a great wash, others who won’t compromise of softness or those who are all about natural ingredients or the gentleness of the formula. We would love to know what you just cannot not go without?”

Do you focus on getting rid of any odour from your clothes? Perhaps it’s important to you that your laundry products are skin-friendly for the entire family? Maybe you put a lot of energy into keeping your clothes in great condition? Are you a lover of fabric conditioner, keen to ensure that your clothes are all super soft?

Whatever the most important aspect of laundry is to you, share this on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

The most important thing is that it gets done and is clean. We use fairy powder as find it is better at performing and for the washing machine strangely. Like natural laundered clean smell of clothes that are line dried outdoors.

The most important aspect of laundry to me is no stain, no marks, no nothing! Just perfectly laundered, fresh, clean clothing etc. xx

sarah861421 · 11/06/2018 20:01

clean and dry. I have sent my children to school in 'almost" dry jumpers more times than I care to remember

IonaAilidh11 · 11/06/2018 20:02

soft fresh smelling clothes

maureen3733 · 11/06/2018 20:12

a fresh laundry smell

pennwood · 11/06/2018 20:20

I aim to always dry outside to give the washing a good blow, & it always smells great, & soft as well. Whites must be blue white (just like the old days of the blue bag!)

Clean and stain-free clothes

tiddles12 · 11/06/2018 20:52

alsproject · 11/06/2018 21:09

sophiefx · 11/06/2018 21:12

The most important thing for me is that it's for sensitive skin as my daughter is very sensitive!

Gazelda · 11/06/2018 21:18

Most important to me is that I get clean laundry with minimum use of chemicals.

GetKnitted · 11/06/2018 21:22

stain free and skin kind :)

Rachdayan · 11/06/2018 21:25

Soft & fresh scented fabric. Nothing better than putting clothes on that feel soft to the skin and smell great too.

RACHELSMITH45 · 11/06/2018 21:25

I love super soft clothes and a fabric softener that smells lovely!!The smell is def a priority for me.

vixxx666 · 11/06/2018 21:37

I like the clothes to smell clean and fresh once they're washed.

socat · 11/06/2018 22:05

Fuss free washing. (stain removal first time, fresh smell, easy program)

freefan · 11/06/2018 22:11

total stain removal is a must for me as I have that much washing each day with a busy household that I don't have time to be rewashing things. I also think a lovely long lasting smell is really important as I love putting on clean fresh smelling clothes or climbing into a bed with freshly cleaned covers.

lhlee62 · 11/06/2018 22:21

Fresh smelling and ironed so my kids look well turned out

sweir123 · 11/06/2018 22:24

That is does not irritate my little ones and that they smell good

lynsmagoo · 11/06/2018 22:26

making sure they dry properly and have a nice soft fabric conditioner!

KittyKat88 · 11/06/2018 23:07

I much prefer natural, eco-friendly products that won't irritate my DDs skin. I find that line-drying makes everything smell fresh and lovely too!

pfcpompeysarah · 11/06/2018 23:28

The most important thing to me is that it smells fresh and looks clean. My mum has a knack and I don't know how she does it, but her washing smells AMAZING, you can literally smell this fabulous smell when you go into her house because every fabric, soft furnishing has this wonderful smell.

Fumnudge · 12/06/2018 00:41

Getting stains out, nothing more annoying washing, drying then realising there's still a stain (but a lingering, lovely fragrance comes a close second).

jacqui5366 · 12/06/2018 08:11

I love softness, freshness and clean clothes, especially when they are line dried (but not in the pollen season - another irritant) but not at the expense of irritated skin, so I always choose fairy, it cleans so well, has that unique 'fairy' fragrance, and will not irritate my little ones skin.

finleypop · 12/06/2018 09:21

My priority is how well the detergent cleans & that it is not too harsh on fabrics
