Doing the laundry can be a messy task - whether that’s getting rid of your children’s unexplained stains or dealing with the piles and piles of clean clothes when you’re done. Who would blame you for dreaming about the kind of space that could make it all seem a bit more manageable. With that in mind, Fairy Non Bio would like to hear about what would be in your dream laundry room.

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say: “Did you know that the average mother spends 5 months of her life doing laundry? That’s a lot of pulling tissues out of pockets, separating loads and pairing socks! Imagine that you had your own separate laundry room. What would you want to make your life easier and nicer to spend time in?”

Would you have a separate washer and dryer? Or shelves for each family member’s clothes? Perhaps you’d have a fold down ironing board? Maybe you’d have everything - from appliances to airers - hidden away in cupboards?

Whatever would be in your dream laundry room, share it below to be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

ASHLEY91 · 16/04/2018 10:19

Someone else to do it all for me!

Spices001 · 16/04/2018 10:20

A washing machine a tumble dryer & a lovely lady to do the ironing

katkatgu · 16/04/2018 10:21

Plenty of storage and a tumble dryer!

TracyKNixon · 16/04/2018 10:31

It would be run by a robot or have a decent washer with a fast spin and an over head drying rack. I hate driers so an outdoor space with a washng line and whirly bird close by would be fab!

DassDass · 16/04/2018 10:38

A laundry robot who does it all for me....obviously

smchadwick · 16/04/2018 10:44

Someone else to do the laundry!Failing that a big room with space to sort laundry properly no more stray colours in whites and space do the ironing

littlemonkeyz · 16/04/2018 11:07

I have a dream laundry cupboard but a room would be amazing. I would have a seperate washer and dryer (the dryer would be an american style top loader). I would have a large sink to rinse, lots of seperate shelves with very neatly stacked laundry and a big beautiful window looking out on to the sea to gaze out whilst I do the ironing with my ultra high-tec iron!

Jamiewallis1981 · 16/04/2018 11:10

I'd have it set up like a relaxing spa. I'd have warming lights, soothing sounds and aromatic candles.

easter1965 · 16/04/2018 11:20

I would have a seperate washer and dryer, a huge cupboard stocked up with Fabric conditioners and boxes of washing powder and a huge airer maybe a couple if there was room.

An empty Laundry Basket would be heavenlh

Doodygirl2009 · 16/04/2018 12:06

A big enough washer that holds maximum loads for faster washing days and I’ve have plenty of lovely washing products to make my clean washing smell divine

KAKADU2001 · 16/04/2018 12:13

Plenty of storage space, good quality washing machine with a very high spin speed. Tumble drier for the wetter weather.

Lindseymorris29 · 16/04/2018 12:14

Oh my gosh I would love to have a laundry room downstairs so it is not occupying bedroom 4 the potential living quarters for baby 3 wink wink nudge (for the hubby) as this is where clothes go after they have been washed. In it would be the washer ironing station and clothes maiden we are a bit to eco friendly aka tight would rather spend my money on other things than consuming energy for a dryer in this household.Grin

Cashy17 · 16/04/2018 12:15

In my dream laundry room you would have the washing machine, dryer, plenty of cupboard space and a specially fitted airing cupboard with a heater in so I could put all the clothes and towels in the airing cupboard so the don’t start to smell after a couple of days. Since we had a new boiler fitted and the old hot water tank taken out of our airing cupboard is cold and the clothes start to smell if it put them in there.

emmmaaa26 · 16/04/2018 12:16

The best washer and drier, a pull out iron and space to fold up and store things.

andywedge · 16/04/2018 12:20

A robot that does EVERYTHING

MissTeri · 16/04/2018 12:21

A tumble dryer - I don't own one sadly and therefore the winter months are spent with a housefull of laundry hanging everywhere!

Nottsmumofthree · 16/04/2018 12:26

OOOOOOh one of those new Samsung washing machines...Bubble I think it is, WOW

Abominus · 16/04/2018 12:37

Bit of space would be nice. Huge washing machine and a tumble dryer (i've never had one). Plenty of ventilation and a comfy sofa to slump down on after i've finished.

SweetEscape1 · 16/04/2018 12:50

Two washing machines and two tumble dryers ( I currently have no tumble dryer at all) Plus someone there to do all of the washing for me!

iut044 · 16/04/2018 12:55

a machine that sorts the washing and does the ironing .

omgitslani · 16/04/2018 13:03
