So many to choose from! Probably home alone 2 for us it brings so many happy memories of Christmas’s gone by.

Maudlinmaud · 29/11/2017 13:46

Love Now TV so handy. It will absolutely be home alone 2 for us, it's tradition.

crisscrosscranky · 29/11/2017 13:47

It's A Wonderful Life- I remember watching it as a child with my Nanny and now I watch it with my daughter who shares her name and stubbornness but not her love for Benson & Hedges and asks me every year if I was alive when it was filmed. I'm 28 Angry

Justabadwife · 29/11/2017 14:21

Love actually is defiantly my favourite xmas film.

Me and my dad used to watch it every year at xmas before I moved out, now I watch it on my own, under a blanket with a drink. My dad says he hasn't seen it for years, but I think that maybe a lie 😂

TheKnackeredChef · 29/11/2017 15:04

Definitely The Grinch or The Muppets Christmas Carol.

You need Elf on there though!

allthingsred · 29/11/2017 15:44

It would be the muppet Christmas Carol for us. As would appeal to everyone in the family

MadameRaleuse · 29/11/2017 16:09

The Polar Express. Something so magical about the steam train, and i love the moose scene. It's got all the emotions and atmosphere. Love it.

Bringmewineandcake · 29/11/2017 16:30

Olaf’s frozen adventure for us! We couldn’t get to the cinema to see it at the weekend. My elder dd loved Frozen and has the costumes, dolls, books etc and the trailer for the new film made me laugh so that would be the one for us.

KnottedAnchorChief · 29/11/2017 16:52

The Nightmare Before Christmas is our favourite from this list. We all love the characters and everyone from the smallest to the oldest will happily watch and sing along. What's this? What's this!
Love it!

Arrietty123 · 29/11/2017 16:58

Love actually is the top one for me as I watch it every Christmas. I think it's a true Christmas classic as it's such a feel good film :)

CopperPan · 29/11/2017 17:08

The Lego Batman Movie was a movie we all loved at the cinema. It would be great to watch it again as a family at Christmas.

ButterflyOfFreedom · 29/11/2017 17:49

Muppets Christmas Carol!
What's not to love???! Grin

vickyors · 29/11/2017 17:54

Polar express. Definitely.

vickyors · 29/11/2017 17:55

Oh shoot- posted too soon!. Polar express- definitely, because I love snow and the journey things always has our kids hooked. Love feel good films.

Lurleene · 29/11/2017 18:07

From that list I am looking forward to watching Beauty and the Beast - the original was a firm favourite when my DD was little so this Christmas we will watch the new one together and see if it is as magical as the animation was.

2tired2bewitty · 29/11/2017 18:16

The Muppet Christmas Carol is an absolute favourite in this house.

Light the lamp, not the rat Grin

Stephgr8 · 29/11/2017 19:20

always Sound of Music - my whole family love it

Stephgr8 · 29/11/2017 19:23

the Sound of Music = I have always loved it

UpOnDown · 29/11/2017 19:25

Got to be The Muppet Christmas Carol, it's magical for all ages!

Ak13zd03 · 29/11/2017 19:37

Has to be home alone 2

8mileeminem · 29/11/2017 20:09

The polar express- we watch it every Christmas Eve, it's our tradition

Summerisdone · 29/11/2017 21:31

A Muppet’s Christmas Carol for me as I’m really looking forward to introducing my 3 year old to classic Christmas movies, and I think this one will keep his attention more than most, whilst I still get to enjoy it lots too.

In a couple more years it will be Home Alone but I don’t think he’d bother with that one just yet.

speakfriendandenter · 29/11/2017 22:32

Our family favourite is The Grinch. Every year we snuggle down together and watch at least 5 times! When DD1 was little she had a serious soft spot for the Grinch and she would insist it wasn't his fault that he hated Christmas. Now DD2 loves to hate him and talks about "the naughty green Grinch". Great to read the book with them too!

Turn2Page394 · 29/11/2017 22:50

Home Alone 2...it's not Christmas without watching the first two Home Alones.
Although I do love Christmas with the Kranks too Smile

ItchySeveredFoot · 29/11/2017 22:57

Muppets Christmas Carol! I have watched it every year since it was released on VHS. Wouldn't be Christmas without it.
