The Polar Express, because it makes all of us believers (posted too quickly earlier)

Squina1 · 11/12/2017 12:18

Having been a huge fan of Frozen (aged 42, ahem!), I would love to see Olaf's Frozen Adventure with the DCs (maybe!).

myboycraig · 11/12/2017 12:48

I love It's A Wonderful Life.

Always makes me appreciate what I've got no matter how hard life can get at times.

Jocelynne123 · 11/12/2017 12:50

The grinch - we always watch it after putting up the tree.
For the adults - it's a wonderful life. It's such a classic, my daughter now watches it with us on Christmas Eve and I love that I'm passing that tradition to her xx

lucyrobinson · 11/12/2017 13:20

Home Alone 2. Love this film.

maria08k · 11/12/2017 13:31

Home Alone 2....the greatest Christmas movie of all time ( in my opinion!!! )

rachelbonness · 11/12/2017 13:49

Home Alone 2 - It's just such a classic! All the family can enjoy it.

andreaca · 11/12/2017 14:26

I love the oldies, so I love white christmas, I have to see it every year without fail. ( ive even seen the stage version).

molly57 · 11/12/2017 15:31

Love Actually - It's one of those feel good movies you can watch again and again.

glmcall123 · 11/12/2017 16:01

Beauty and the Beast for the kids and It's a Wonderful Life for the grown-upsXmas Smile

svalentine60 · 11/12/2017 16:23

The Grinch :) An amazing movie that shows the progression of a bad guy to someone who we find really wants to be part of society and feels like his is not wanted. When the hoos reach out to him there's a slow but wonderful progression towards unity. My children love that movie.

Sammie87 · 11/12/2017 16:41

The Grinch wins, hands down, it's one of the greatest Christmas family films and we enjoy watching it every year!

DiWoo · 11/12/2017 16:50

We love comedy in our house so what better than Home Alone, in fact my daughter has chosen that to watch on her long coach journey today for a school trip to Germany

12LuDo · 11/12/2017 16:53

We've already made a start on the Christmas selection from NowTV and I think Polar Express has been our favourite so far!

rocketriffs · 11/12/2017 18:11

Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Saw it in the cinema and it ticked all the boxes. Would love to see it again. We love Baby Groot.

Youvegotafriendinme · 11/12/2017 18:31

Muppets Christmas carol! It’s not Christmas without it!

26jibby · 11/12/2017 19:26

Sound of Music

boobybirdsworth · 11/12/2017 19:27

I'd go with Fred Claus, it's good, honest family fun :)

otter099008 · 11/12/2017 19:41

Home Alone 2 for me. It's an absolute classic and never gets old.

sugarplum11 · 11/12/2017 20:41

Love Actually is my favourite to watch with my husband. It makes me feel really nostalgic.

LondonStill83 · 11/12/2017 21:40

Two of my favourite Christmas films are on this list. For me, Christmas just isn't Christmas without watching both The Polar Express and It's a Wonderful Life. Can I pick two?

It's a wonderful life, I love because it's so beautifully and simply relatable. So many of us trundle through life just not seeing our value; wouldn't it be wonderful for an angel to come and show us the impact we have?

The Polar Express, I love because it's just so magical and captures what I believe the true spirit of Christmas to be: the suspension of belief and entry into a world of sparkle and wonder and joy, unbridled by the cynicism and trauma of adulthood. I still have the original book and someone once gave me a Polar Express bell as a present, which I treasure to this day.

So- perhaps- the Polar Express wins, but it's a very close race!

LondonStill83 · 11/12/2017 21:41

I also love The Grinch, Beauty and the Beast, and A Nightmare Before Christmas so NOW TV is doing well!

ALemonyPea · 11/12/2017 21:44

The Polar Express. It’s a beautiful film. We have a decorative bell on the tree that DH and I swear we can’t hear when the DC ring it.

mishknight · 11/12/2017 21:53

Has to be Frozen

jhgillies · 11/12/2017 22:20

My husband adores Trading Places. I think his one Christmas wish would be to have us all in the lounge watching it on repeat.
