The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Muppet Christmas Carol - great story and it's got The Muppets in!

happysouls · 23/11/2017 14:09

In the days where my sister and her husband came to stay for Christmas we'd always watch Grease and have a good old sing...not exactly festive but a celebration of us being together...just the girls! But we've all moved on now and have different plans. For my favourite actual festive film it would be Love Actually, it is just lovely in so many ways!

Santa Clause the Movie (and I watch my children watch it every year without fail!!)

I rember being around 11/12 and being at that really awkward age where all your friends were cool enough not to believe in Santa and Christmas magic but you didn’t want to not believe.

Santa Clause the movie came on tv that Christmas Eve and I was just spell bound. I vowed them that I would always believe in Christmas magic no matter what anyone else thought and I still do to this day.

My eldest is nearly 11 and hoping the Santa Clause the movie will make her Christmas for years to come as it did mine!!

Home Alone, Its a classic and the first film I saw at the cinema. It has been the first Christmas movie we watch for the last 13 years.

MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL - fun movie for us here, with Michael Caine.

maryandbuzz1 · 23/11/2017 14:33

We all love to watch MRS MIRACLE with Doris Roberts. It’s not that it’s a brilliant film but we watch it as it has become a Christmas tradition in our house.

del2929 · 23/11/2017 14:35

home alone is an all time fave

PhuntSox · 23/11/2017 14:43

I keep trying to talk them into watching The Sound of Music with me but they won't, so its always Elf, a really lovely funny festive film.

daisyduke66 · 23/11/2017 14:44

My personal favourite is Polar Express :) although the firm household favourite is ELF :)

hiddenmichelle · 23/11/2017 14:46

sheilads105 · 23/11/2017 14:48

janeyf1 · 23/11/2017 14:59

Bad Santa. It always makes us laugh

meepmoop79 · 23/11/2017 15:03

My personal favourite is Gremlins. But as family we enjoy Scrooge/A Christmas Carol and a Nightmare Before Christmas

shellywkd · 23/11/2017 15:04

Santa Clause as Tim Allen is my daughters favourite actor. The box set comes out every Christmas and is a great family film.

BlackeyedSusan · 23/11/2017 15:17

Home Alone 1 and 2

pnutter · 23/11/2017 15:21

Polar Express! I could watch it over and over. The kids prefer Elf , or The Grinch for the comedy. Im more sentimental.
