The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

The Muppets Christmas Carol, the music is fantastic, is just so Christmassy and fun I have always loved it since a child.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is an annual tradition in our house. Usually we watch it about 2 weeks before Christmas after the tree goes up. Over the years DS's and DD's current girlfriends/boyfriends have been coersed into watching it too! The ultimate Christmas film and such a good observation on family dynamics at this stressful time of the year.

Ooh I've just remembered- went to the cinema this week and they were trailing It's A Wonderful Life. It will be on the big screen for Christmas - how great is that?

Also just thought of Catch Me If You Can with the lovely Leo - that's got a Christmas theme running through it.

gamerwidow · 23/11/2017 10:18

Die Hard is my favourite but DD is a bit young for that so we’d have to say The Muppet Christmas Carol is our favourite! We love all the songs.

ahigney · 23/11/2017 10:19

Love Polar Express, followed by Home Alone and Lampoons Christmas Vacation

MargoLovebutter · 23/11/2017 11:31

The Polar Express, closely followed by Arthur Christmas.

PugwallsSummer · 23/11/2017 11:56

National Lampoon’s Christmas vacation. Festive 80’s nostalgia.

georgedawes · 23/11/2017 13:43

Muppet's Christmas Carol - it's brilliant! Funny, entertaining, and the songs are great too. Love it!

Miracle on 34th Street

NeverTwerkNaked · 23/11/2017 13:45

Elf, for sheer joyful Christmas cheese. Swiftly followed by home alone 1&2 and the Nativity films
Ooh and for me, I like to sneak away st some point over Christmas and watch the total cheese-fest that is the Holiday, ideally with a big glass of wine for company

Bluelonerose · 23/11/2017 13:48

Miracle on 34th street the new version.
It's always on when we put the Xmas tree up to get us in the Xmas mood.
Great family memories growing up Smile

bosch121212 · 23/11/2017 13:50

It has to be 'Elf' for the whole family. Me, I love 'The Holiday' and 'Love Actually' makes my festive season.

AngelwingsPetlamb · 23/11/2017 13:51

We love The Muppet Christmas Carol, we just love the Muppets anyway but they are so adorable in the film and it’s a film for everyone so it makes us feel ‘together’ when we sit down to watch it.

glennamy · 23/11/2017 13:52

Bedknobs and Broomsticks... It was always on the tv when I was a child at Christmas time and still is to this day, although I introduced this movie to my children by dvd.

That1950sMum · 23/11/2017 13:54

Without a doubt Nativity. It makes us all laugh and we sing along with all the songs. Brilliant film.

mrsdeedow · 23/11/2017 13:55

AuFinch · 23/11/2017 13:56
