The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

The Muppets Christmas Carol is my all time favourite! Every year since I can remember I have watched it with my mam and sang our hearts out while putting the Christmas tree up, we know all the words! I intend to carry on this tradition with my daughter

It’s 50/50 in our house for Home alone and Elf there both great movies and watching them usually gets us excited for Christmas

sarahbrokenshire · 23/11/2017 15:45

Elf - Because both adults and children find it hilarious - It never gets old and you can watch it again and again :)

MAForster · 23/11/2017 15:48

"It's A Wonderful Life" - the message is timeless.

The Wizard of Oz

Narnianescape · 23/11/2017 15:48

I love Miracle on 34th street as it reminds me of my childhood and the run up to Christmas

fedup2017 · 23/11/2017 15:50

Elf and Home alone here...
mainly because they make us all laugh lots.

nigelh66 · 23/11/2017 15:51

Planes,Trains & Automobiles :) Because it shows that Christmas can even be a time for ' misfits '.I know it is about ' Thanksgiving ' but it is usually shown at Christmas. For me it just shows how much, very important it is to show compassion for one another and how much it can mean to people :)

Falconhoof1 · 23/11/2017 15:55

The Grinch is a favourite in this house.

amyhalliday1 · 23/11/2017 16:04

it has to be Elf!!! we love it !! even going to see the musical this year :) x

Lozmatoz · 23/11/2017 16:06

We watch ‘Arthur Christmas’ from November! The kids, dd 3 & ds 5 love it purely because ‘it’s about Christmas’ and we enjoy it as parents because it’s genuinely funny and we can all watch it together.

007hel · 23/11/2017 16:09

We love The Polar Express SmileSmile

Dormouse1940 · 23/11/2017 16:11

It has to be Home Alone for me!
Snow, silliness and lots of giggles. Perfect every year :)

pixelwife · 23/11/2017 16:12

We love the film Elf! It's a Christmas essential, like crackers and indigestion! Always puts us in a festive mood!

DarkPeakScouter · 23/11/2017 16:14

Our favourite Xmas movie is the Hogfather. We all gather round and laugh. God bless Sir Terry!

mummykate87 · 23/11/2017 16:17

Elf! It's just so funny and perfect for the whole family.

tia3456 · 23/11/2017 16:23

We all love Home Alone 2, it's the humour in it

ladylanc · 23/11/2017 16:26

It's A Wonderful Life - Jimmy Stewart drinking tee many martoonies at the bar is a must-see.

ren999 · 23/11/2017 16:27

Well mine is My Fair Lady (I know its not really a Christmas movie but it was ALWAYS on over the Christmas period when I was younger!) but my kids prefer the more modern moves and their favorite is The Polar Express, which I must say, is Magical! We love the runaway train scene!

AnimalAddict · 23/11/2017 16:39

Elf, it's perfect for the whole family! Watch it every year :)

IonaAilidh11 · 23/11/2017 16:45

sophiefx · 23/11/2017 16:55

It's always been the Grinch in our house. However last year, we found another favourite! Arthur Christmas! Perfect for the whole family and it's nice and refreshing watching it as we've watched Grinch every Christmas Eve since I can remember ha ha!

Bellaboo1234 · 23/11/2017 17:00

It has to be Polar Express to give you that warm festive feel with a bailey's for me and a hot chocolate for the little people.

ThenBellaDidSomethingVeryKind · 23/11/2017 17:01

Elf! With hot buttered popcorn and the fire going
