The team at NOW TV would love to hear which Christmas movie gets your family together and huddled around the TV with appropriately festive snacks Xmas Smile. Do you go for a classic, a new favourite, an animated flick or one which isn’t technically about Christmas but still reminds you of that time of year?

NOW TV say “With NOW TV, we have a host of family movies lined up for the festive period - from Frozen to The Polar Express and even the classic Sound of Music! Families can also enjoy newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and The Lego Batman Movie - all from the comfort of their own front room!”

Whatever the preference in your house, add your most-loved Christmas movie below and why it's simply the best for you and yours, and you will be entered into a prize draw where one person will win a £300 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck

Elf - hilarious, good for all ages and the epitome of Christmastime!

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (we've watched it every year for as long as I can remember)

piggypoo · 06/12/2017 06:54

We really love Cars, even DH gets soppy watching that! :)

cathyov · 06/12/2017 06:59

The Snowman - maybe only a short one but has become a tradition and we are all good at singing the theme music too!

I always wrap my presents to White Christmas. That kicks off Christmas for me.

PS -my grown up daughters have now adopted Love Actually as the family must watch Xmas film

Jingle all the way. DH is (inexplicably) a big arnie fan.

jazzitup · 06/12/2017 08:28

The Muppets at this time of year brings back so many good memories that I can now share with my little princess.

Gone with the Wind Grin
Not Christmassy, but it's always on at Christmas, usually 2am on BBC2! I first watched it in the run up to Christmas and now it's part of the tradition.
DD, 3, likes the dresses, but wanders off about twenty minutes in, muttering about Paw Patrol....

Home Alone.that's the best movie ever I am not sure how many times I already watched it and now my older son loves to watch it with me every Christmas :)

Pimmpom · 06/12/2017 09:26

Elf - because, let's face it, who doesn't?

ikkle87 · 06/12/2017 10:01

I love Arthur Christmas. Arthur reminds me of my hubby. Big ears and nose, hapless and clumsy and with a big love for Christmas x

Leanfun · 06/12/2017 10:08

Mary Poppins Everyone can watch it and enjoy the music. Reminds me of when we were children.

sarahw2 · 06/12/2017 10:34

The Polar Express! We watch it every Christmas Eve in our new pyjamas.

Sloppychops · 06/12/2017 10:51

Love Actually is our all time favourite!

MillyVanilli222 · 06/12/2017 14:07

Home Alone! It's funny for both the adults and kids, and has just enough action and adventurousness to satisfy easily distracted minds.

CGORST · 06/12/2017 14:54

I just love Elf. It's the one film that gets me into the Christmas spirit and it doesn't make me cry. I don't want to feel sentimental and Christmas I want a nice film that makes me laugh and Elf fits the bill perfectly!

CombineBananaFister · 06/12/2017 19:58

Die Hard or Gremlins for just me and DH or Paddington if its Ds as well. I'm planning on watching Dead Mans Shoes this weekend which is not particularly christmassy Grin but it is a good film about family and morals

cathryn1 · 06/12/2017 21:32
